Welcome World Beachfront Resort

Location was very good. Very close to the beach. Staff were very helpful. Prices were reasonable.

The Rooms are a bit old and could do with an update. The Pools and the water were not that clean in some areas. The water needed some chemical treatment to make it appear cleaner and better filtration. Or even a pool vacuum cleaner operating overnight.

The location is perfect for the beach and night life.

Hotel is run down and needs some TLC , the gate to the seas is secured with a usb lead .

Location was great. Beautiful view. Pool very nice. Availability of massage by pool. Front desk was very responsive as we had arrived with a difficult question.

The hotel when built was obviously beautiful but now it appears very tired and in need of updating and some repairs.

Hello from Norway. I stayed at Welcome World for two weeks.Stayed in a suite with a fantastic sea view.My best selling point is the fantastic bed. Without a doubt the best bed I have slept in, in Thailand.The cleanliness was impeccable.The staff, from the reception, to the cleaners and the restaurant were also very friendly and accommodating.It was completely quiet in the room at night, which is also appreciated. The exit to the beach practically took you to the beach. The exit to the main road was about 300 meters to walk.I will definitely return to Welcome World.

On the minus side, it can be mentioned that they used to have a fantastic restaurant, but now the menu has been changed. Not as fantastic for my taste.It doesn't mean anything to me, as I eat all my meals out.

Nice pool, great location, especially those who enjoy morning sport activities e.g. open water, yoga, running, biking. The room was spacious, even though it looked a bit old. I'd recommend an interior renovation. Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful. The parking lot is adequate. I will come back very soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely resort. The location is excellent, the views are breathtaking, and the breakfast was delightful. The staff overall were warm and welcoming special thanks to Nan and Taa for her exceptional hospitality.

However, we did have an unfortunate experience with one staff member, Apple, who came across as rude, arrogant, and displayed behavior that felt discriminatory. This was disappointing in an otherwise pleasant experience.A few areas could use improvement particularly the cleanliness, which did not meet expectations. We kindly request the resort management to consider conducting basic pest control to enhance the overall comfort and hygiene of the property.Ratings:1.Location: 10/102.Staff: 10/10 (excluding the incident mentioned)3.Breakfast: 10/104.Cleanliness: 5/105.View: 10/10We hope to see improvements on our next visit.

I miss the cold cuts and cheese. I'm surprised there was never any steamed/boiled rice. But I'm always satisfied with the breakfast buffet.

First suite was an ants nest, took 6 nights and three cans of spray before they moved us to another suite, which was better but they supplied no loungers for the massive balcony and refused when asked Breakfast was below average we went twice only in 21 Days. The pool area, uhm, lights falling off the pool walls, rubbish left under loungers for days, pool bar staff loved their phones and did nothing until approached, maybe clearing tables and old Towels would be a good start and the odd walk around to be fare they were useless,As were other staff whoLoved their phones too, never spokeOr Greeted anyone, the exception the cleaners worked in the rooms did an alright job and the concierge wasNiceIt’s old it’s worn and the staff appear untrained and unmotivated blame that on management and supervision

Pleasant

Bathrooms were dirty and air conditioning leaked. Beds were also rock hard. Outdated in general.

The location is perfect. Just across from Dongtang Beach and close to a lot of bars and restaurants. The sunsets are amazing from this hotel. The rooms are huge and clean.

Bad receptionists. No communication.No first aid for medical emergency.No in any hurry to resolve e issues.Bed was very hard 8321.

The staff at the reception is not very friendly. We had to wait for the room for 2 hours though the hotel was not full. They requested a $100 deposit instead of a 1000 baht.

There are some inconvenience such as I was request a crib for my child but it's doesn't have, and bathtub wont drain so we have to wait for a plumber to come and fix it. Really wasted our time. (By the way plumbers are very nice and kind they try to fix as far as he can thank you!)

This is an old hotel. The faulty aircons cause lots of water to accumulate in the slippery floors. Very dangerous. My wife slipped and got injured at 4am. The floor becomes wet glass.These north rooms should never be rented. Linen worn out, sometimes torn and very very old.We were early and waited 3 hours for checking. Eventually, u took up my luggage as the porters were too busy with other guests that came after me.The manager at reception says that all I can do is review on booking.com. I cannot contact the big boss.They are running a high risk booking in guests in these rooms.Hotel got huge problems with the north wing icons. They are booking in guests in a dangerous situation where the aircons leak major on the walls and floors. My wife had an incident where she slipped on the wet porcelain floor and fell and got injured.Please ask hotel not to book guests on this wing. Nobody came to our assistance at 4am with any medical aid. Thue wanted me to find a doctor and send them a bill for consideration. No empathy. My wife hurt her arm , leg and back in the fall.We were 3 hours early on check in. Wated 3hr 20 min foe checking. I took my luggage up by myself. Porters were too busy. Heusts that came after me were checked in before.After insisting, I was move to another room.
