Easy walk to Terminal 21. Good breakfast. I highly recommend the deluxe ocean view. I highly recommend the hotel even not on Beach Road but no worry, Auntie has a quick shop across the street.

The hotel rooms need more maintenance attention. The cleaning staff excellent.

Bella Villa Metro Jan 17 - 20, 2026Price only $43CAD/night.  Pool (I didn't use).  Good fridge with freezer, which is nice for keeping ice.  Has all the amenities I needed.  The location was okay, I guess; about a five minute walk to Terminal 21 and from there you can jump on a Baht bus that will take you down Beach Rd.Relatively clean, although it's overdue for a detailed cleaning (edges, corners, etc.).

When I first entered the room, it smelled very old and musty.  But that seemed to go away after the AC was on for a bit.  If you turn the water on too strong you get bits of rust from the old pipes, but fine if you keep the flow low or moderate.  Check in was easy enough, although you have to go to the building next door to check in.  And the guy at the front desk was about as friendly as an immigration officer having a bad day.  Although another fellow came over promptly to help me with my bags, at both check in and check out. There's no one at the front desk of BVM . . . ever, which is my biggest concern, because anyone could walk in off the street.  Not that it's busy in this area, but I prefer the peace of mind of having someone at the front desk while I"m away from the hotel.  The "sea view" was technically true, but definitely not what the words bring to mind.  LOL  Lastly, the mattress was really firm, which I didn't mind, really. But the pillows were not only super-firm, but also quite thick. Not a good combo for me, even as a side-sleeper.

The location is very good. Close to beach and Terminal 21. The pool is nice. Very good staff.

The room needs a new bed. It was rock hard. The bathroom is very dated and musty. Only 1 of 7 days the shuttle was running.

Rooms on the 2nd floor with a sea view may experience some noise from the back of house of the neighboring hotel, so the balcony door needs to be kept closed at all times.

Walking area to reach the beach and swimming pool, but breakfast was not delicious. Staff at the breakfast area are not friendly.

the wifi was a bit slow, but as I dont live my life on the computer not a problem, just get a local sim card,

Waking up each morning and seeing the sea view . The breakfast buffet is also good with changing items each day.

The hotel is good if you want to be away from the noisy beach road. It is a 10-minute walk to get the southern end of the beach however you can easily get a bus into the main part of town. The room offered a good view of the ocean. The breakfast has good variety.

The rooms are run down, and the bed is not comfortable. There were ants in the room, and they attack any food that is left out.

Not a great deal to add here - it needs to improve on several levels.Oh - the pillows were comfy !

We were in the ‘older side’ as the hotel has 2 buildings. WiFi was rubbish , pool tiny and cold and only 4 sun beds for the whole hotel. 15-20 minute walk in either direction for the seafront, beach or restaurants. Bath had brown water marks all over it and the shower old and not much power. The bed was rock hard too.

Breakfast was pretty good

The manager misinformed me about the late check-out policy. During check-in, he verbally assured me that I could stay in the hotel without additional payment until 6 PM and would only need to pay for any time beyond that. However, when it came time to check out, the situation was entirely different. He quoted an amount verbally, did not issue an invoice, and failed to provide a receipt, raising concerns about whether the payment was properly accounted for. Furthermore, I had contacted the hotel through Booking.com in advance, but their responses were significantly delayed, arriving only after the issue was no longer relevant. If I had received accurate and timely information, I would have planned my stay differently.
