Pros +
- I booked the hotel for my mother, and her friend. The lady in the reception, Zubeyde, was so helpful, incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to meet all our needs. It was my mother's first trip without me, since I was abroad, she had to handle everything by herself. She was never alone and truly felt like friends with Zubeyde by the end of our trip. The hotel was very comfortable, and we felt completely at home. Thank you so much for taking care of my family. Highly recommended.!
- This time I especially cared about the Wifi quality because I had to work remotely plus sometime with video calls. So I intentionally selected this hotel which has a higher rate for wifi with reasonable price. I stayed at the lowest floor, where the wifi connection was very stable and fast enough. Unexpectedly they upgraded my room from single to double. Very appreciated. Location is good enough, even though it locates almost at the end of the walking area, it does not let you climb stairs up and down quite much. Staffs are friendly, although they don't speak english, we had no problem for communication. They booked the shuttle bus to the airport. There is a big terrace inside with a beautiful view and you can sit there with your friends (I did so).
- The view from the terrace is beautiful
Cons -
- The only downside of this holiday is that it ends
- No really anything. But if I have to be very picky, then the mat for bathroom is a bit confusing for me, because it is set in the bathroom which will absorb full of water after shower. Maybe it could be put right out of the bathroom?
- The room is really uncomfortable...the toilet is very small and not that clean

Everyone was hopeful and the hotel look exactly pictures even, my favorite part was the breakfast every fresh and it tasted out of this world, unfortunately I only had a chance to there was. Definitely on my next trip i'll be staying there longer.
It was a little hidden.
Location, zubeyde amazing girl who always helps, thank you very much for doing a very good job.
They don't have reception, nobody speaks English they speak only Turkish. The restroom in my room had mold.
The property had an amazing view and location! Staff was really kind and helpful! However, the room was, surprisingly for us, without a window which was not clear from the pictures and there was a terrace on the floor and not to the room. There was mold in the room and without a way to ventilate, the air was not good, therefore we slept with the door open, which was not perfect but was ok for us. Maybe in the hot summer days, the smell will not be felt as much. It would be worth it to book a room with a window even if more expensive. Breakfast was delicious and the staff really nice. There was hot water all the time:-)
Very good breakfast.
I messaged the property to say we were coming from Iraq by bus and might be late and received a reply to say that we could arrive at any time. In fact we finally arrived at 6:30 AM. It was a very cold morning and we were exhausted and very cold but they ignored knocking at the door, they ignored our phone calls and the ignored phone calls from their neighbours. The general feeling with the husband at the property was that we were a necessary inconvenience. The wife was very quiet but I have to say she provided a very good breakfast.
The breakfast was delicious The room is very clean Kahvaltı güzeldi konum perfect Oda çok temizdir They have a very nice view from the hotel terrace
No parking for the car ? You need to look by yourself
The breaktaking view of the Mesopotamia, the hospitality, cleanliness and the location close to important points of interest. The hotel is situated in the heart of the ancient city, but in a quiet street.
All was positive.
Breakfast was awesome. WiFi was strong, there was hot water, personnel was very kind and helpful. The view was great. The location was very good.
The bathroom was too small, the bed was very hard
Location is good, near the very center and quite, with the beautiful view from the terrace on the valey. Breakfast is served, could be better. Refrigirator didn't work, but staff solved the problem, TV didn't work at all.
Small room with little natural light, water pump was noisy.
Awesome location and view. A clean and comfortable room with working air-conditioning. Breakfast was good as well. Friendly women who helped us with all our needs.
Great attention, breakfast, view and room
The views were great. The personnel was very kind and helpful. We were stunned by Zübeyde, an amazing member of the staff, who was always going the extra mile. The breakfast was good.
Our room was the worst we had ever stayed in. It needs to be sealed and they really shouldn't place hotel guests in that hellhole, as it is a health hazzard. As there's no window and it's nowhere close to a source of fresh air, it's extremely humid and there's mold in many parts of both the room and the terrible, moist bathroom. The smell was awful. Because of the humidity, the mold and the stuffed atmosphere, we had two terrible nights there, with trouble of breathing and sleeping. We mentioned that after our first night, but we were informed that there was no other spare room to take us. So they moved us in another room for our third and last night in Merdin. The new room was more spacious, better, it had aircon at least, so even though there was no window, the humidity wasn't that bad and the overall atmosphere was much better. We managed to have a decent night sleep. Our original room was tiny and I truly can't believe how we spent two whole nights there. When we were at the hotel, we would spend our time at its café, because it was so insufferable to stay in the room. It is a shame to put people in this miserable awfulness. If they had put us in the second room from the beginning, our experience in the hotel would have been totally different. However, as they have no shame and they use this moldy, terrible and smelly room to put people inside, I really can't put more than three. The pics are from the first room. It costed 55€/per night.
The hotel is clean and have a beautifull viewpoint on a balcony. The aircondition worked. The staff were nice. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city. The price is good.
The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The hotel is 30 minutes away from the main bus station.
Kvantahne in the morning the ladies selected little tasty of Turkish foods ..very good out door seats benches and tables also fabulous views..to beg believe in your eyes..comfy room too...BURACK tesekkurler to you and your wonderful polite staff
Mmmmm nothing...
Good location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
All additional items such as dishwasher, washing machine, etc. are provided communally and not in the room. But no problem for us.
The staff were very friendly and always looking to help. I should note as an American English speaker that most of the hotel staff spoke little or no English. We used Google Translate almost exclusively. This is not a problem for me and I don't consider it a negative in any way but other non-Turkish speakers should be aware of this if you are not comfortable with that.
The wifi was wildly inconsistent. Due to the nature of the building and materials it was always going to be a problem and there were at least three networks available to log into depending where on the property one was but what I did find a little frustrating was that sometimes one of the networks had strong stable connections and at others it was almost impossible to connect. (I'm specifically referring to connecting to their wifi as opposed to speeds one connected. Once/if connected speeds were good only the ability to connect to their various SSID's were problematic.)
The place was înside old city.
Rooms was very small bathroom the same. Windows smalț.
The views are amazing and the price is good too. Early check-in was possible, and the staff was polite.
