No air conditioning The room was so hot I suffered from an asthma attack due to the extreme heat, humidity, and the smell of wood in the room!! When the employee said, “The room will cool down in 10 minutes,” it did not cool down, and I could not sleep, and I had an asthma attack

You feel like you are in an ash tray! We got a non smoking room yet the smoke from the hallway kept pouring in. Horrible! Tiny room! And a cover you can’t even call a blanket.

I appreciated that they tried to give me a nice room at the corner, which is bigger than the one I have booked. However the bed was sagging and way too soft, it is the "when you move, the whole bed move with you" kind. I ended up having a sore back and couldn't wait to check out from the hotel. It was a shame because otherwise the stay in Mardin would have been perfect. I didn't pay extra to get the breakfast as the hotel seems to be very popular with Turkish tourists groups, there are many local cafes just down the main road and I had my breakfasts there nice and quiet.

It's easy to find parking spaces around the hotel. If you want to go to the old town, it's most convenient to take a taxi.

The room was spacious

The fact that none of the staff spoke English, there is no fridge in the room, quite far from the city centre, very noise main street and the bed was not very comfortable.

In fact, I did not find the hotel to be at a five-star level for many reasons, including 1- The hotel did not have a private garage 2- The bathrooms were not up to the required standard 3- The breakfast was lacking in many materials 4- The rooms were not comfortable due to street noise 5- The air conditioning was not good

Easy bus ride to the old town. Reasonably comfortable room.

Really busy hotel. Breakfast was a crazy busy both mornings. Only place in Turkey that did not supply a quilt. They told us it was not the season, yet the nightly temperature was 10-15C. Couldn't open the window due to traffic noise. It was stuffy in the room, so we needed a/c. Cold on the first night. Finally, on the 2nd night, they gave us a quilt with no cover. We found it strange.

Delightful hotel, comfy room, super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet as well. The old town is only a cheap, 10-minute taxi ride away. There's a little supermarket downstairs to buy supplies.

Right off the main street, the location was nice. There are a number of decent restaurants in the lane behind.

Although the hotel had confirmed they would upgrade our room at check-in, the front office feigned ignorance. They gave us Room 210. After about 30 minutes we could sense that the air-conditioning was not working and the room was extremely stuffy. After initial complaints, they tried to persuade us that all was okay and it was because of the high outside temperature. We had already unpacked but still insisted on a room change. We were given 610 and the change in temperature was evident. Most of the front office staff could not communicate in English and it was often a problem. The breakfast was extremely ordinary and disappointing. They did not even have an egg counter.

We had the breakfast only one day.We found almost all different types of Cheese were very salty and not good if you suffer from High Blood Pressure.We found the Hotel manager Mr Erdgal was exceptionally helpful.

The room we stayed was very small and there was hardly any space to move around.This is not the type of room for a couple you expect in a Five star hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Raymar Hotels Mardin. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and cleaned every day. The restaurant serves delicious and affordable food and drinks, and has a lovely terrace with views of the castle. The staff were kind, attentive and very professional. The hotel is a short taxi or bus ride from the old town of Mardin. I would recommend a stay there without hesitation, and will be coming back!

The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and polite. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Excellent range of items and drinks in the delicious breakfast. Evening menu very extensive to provide for every taste; well-presented and great value for money. Rooms particularly clean and tidy as well as being superbly equipped, for instance great power shower!

Unfortunately the spa facility was not available due to refurbishment, but staff offered other facilities in nearby hotels as an alternative- very helpful.

This is a five star hotel for a three star price. Helpful staff, parking garage, spacious room with good air conditioning, daily cleaning, well-equiped bathroom. Thank you Raymar!

The location. It is more then 2 kilometer and uphill from the old centre, Eski Mardin. However, there are frequent busses for just 15 lira.

The staff is good. Close to everything. Behind the hotel are various restaurants. Close to Mardin Mall. And next to it is MMG. A very large and cheap retail shopping mall. And behind a large and specialized hospital
