March Samui Resort

Beautiful pool with lush greenery and mountain views. Room was good, staff were pleasant and accommodating. Right across the street from a stunning beach and beach restaurants. This is not a luxury hotel but overall great balance of value for your dollar.

The accommodation was excellent. They allowed us an early check-in without any problems. The room was clean with daily housekeeping. We really appreciated the great swimming pool and the close proximity to the sea. They also have very helpful staff who arranged a tour for us to Ang Thong National Park. It is great accommodation for a very affordable price compared to others in Koh Samui. I definitely recommend it.

Water has lower pressure, but it’s ok.

The staff was very nice and we were able to rent a scooter in the hotel which went very smoothly. The lady in the front of the house helped us to book the transfer to the airport with a very nice driver.

The resort looks like a motel from 90's US movies. It is located in the middle of nowhere - with the scooter it takes 20 minutes to get to town (both ways). The beach that is across the street would be nice but it is so close to the road that is too noisy to enjoy.The rooms very supposed to be cleaned daily but the only thing that was "cleaned" was that the staff changed the trash bags. We got new towels after 2 days, one was not usable, it looked more like a blanket which won't absorb any water, the other one had holes in it. It was not possible to regulate AC so after a few minutes it was freezing. The windows were dirty. The WiFi really bad. The water in the shower smelled very weird and there was no storage space in the bathroom at all - you have to keep your shower gel, shampoo etc. on the floor or toilet. The shower has no curtain and it is next to the toilet so the toilet paper would get wet every time we took a shower. No storage in the room to keep clothes if you want to unpack.

This is a very strange place. They say they have internet, but it's very unstable and slow. I tried all 4 networks. I had to finish my work and it was only possible when I bought a local SIM card. Mobile internet works 10 times better than wi-fi in the hotel. There is no shampoo in the rooms. It costs pennies here and it's very strange to save money on this. Another unpleasant aspect is that children are screaming by the pool from 7 am and it becomes impossible to sleep. But I would NEVER write about all this if the next situation would not happen. I extended my stay for 1 day and immediately paid for an additional day. Unfortunately, it was more expensive than through booking by about 400 baht. But the saddest thing is that on the day of check-out they told me to pay for the room a second time. I explained in detail how I paid for this additional day, in the end they did not even apologize for demanding payment a second time. It was very impolite. It's not like Thais. There are two women working there, the young one is very kind and caring, but the older one was very impolite. There are also wonderful, kind cleaners working there. But unfortunately, this is the worst hotel in Thailand of those I've been to.

The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The pool is great. The resort is literally across the road from the beach, with several wonderful beach bars/restaurants, supermarkets, places to have a massage within a short walk. They offer bike hire and can arrange car hire. The resort is very basic and a little dated. Minimal furniture in the rooms. But for the price for a base it’s great. Quaint and peaceful.

Good location, very close to nice beach. The staff was helpful and flexible, they help us to rent the bike on very affordable price. The room was clean; each day we got free water and coffee. There is no restaurant or bar at the resort but there are plenty of them nearby. The pool was nice.

There was no hot water in our room but there was in my dad's room.

if your room is near pool, and other guests are loud, it may disturb you. thankfully only one night was a little noisy.

We had the 2 bedroom villa on the beach. We liked having separate bedrooms, however, the “sofa bed” is NOT A BED it’s a tiny couch/love seat. Maybe a small child could sleep comfortably, but not an adult! We liked the full fridge, microwave and tea kettle, but we had to ask for a toaster and the frying pan and cook too that were in the pictures. We on,u got the toaster, so didn’t use it because we had no way to cook the eggs. It was nice to be right on the beach, there is no fake grassy area as shown in the photo, but sand is ok, we just had to rinse our feet before going inside, and there were people checking us out as they walked along the beach, but it is a public area. There were a few places to eat, some very expensive, some very inexpensive. Big C mini right at the road, 2 7-11’s, a pharmacy, and laundry all within walking distance

The bed in one room needs to be replaced - you either each sleep on a slant and you both end up in the middle! Disappointed there were no cooking facilities as shown in the photos. The traffic noise did not stop!!! When we were inside at night with the doors closed, the traffic drowned out the sound of the waves! We must’ve been close to a hospital because an ambulance went by at least every hour. It’s quite a distance from everything else and seems relatively expensive to get a taxi anywhere

The rooms were near the back, very comfortable and very quiet which is surprising since the villa on the beach was so noisy with traffic. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the pool was right by the rooms.

The swimming pool is really nice and well maintained. The room is a decent size, with a big bed.

We booked this hotel as the photos on booking.com suggested it was on the beach. However, it was over the road from the beach which was disappointing. Also, the water from the taps was a yellow colour during our stay, which was not nice at all.

Everything was Good..... We stayed in Room L4 which was just in front of the pool.

Except for the water on the tap and showers in the bathroom which was brown...

The staff was very helpfull and very nice to us.It was last minute descision cause we suppose to go to Koh Tao, but due to the bad weather we were stuck at Koh Samui. Girls on receptions were checking on boats every day to help us.

Everything was great for the price we paid.

The welcome from Palm was warm and helpful. My baggage had been delayed so I arrived without any of my adaptors to charge my phone but she found one and let me borrow it overnight. Then I couldn’t get through to the number I was given by staff at the airport to check on the progress of my rucksack so she went out of her way to contact the number for me, and told me it would arrive later that night. As the office closed at 11pm she took my number to contact me by WhatsApp in my room to let me know when it had arrived even though she would be off duty. My bags duly arrived at around midnight (7 hours later than I had) and were delivered to my room.She also arranged a taxi to take me to the pier the next morning at 7 am, and then sent me a message afterwards to make sure I had arrived on Koh Tao safely.The room was clean and had a fridge (with water) in and a kettle to make coffee in the morning. There is a supermarket just next door so I could go there and pick up toiletries and overnight essentials in the eventuality that my bag did not arrive before my leaving the next day. There was a lovely pool but unfortunately I could not use it as I had no bag with swimming costume in!

There is nothing I did not like about the property itself. The only thing I would say is that I knew I had to take the ferry at 8am the next morning so I looked on booking.com and the property appeared to be much closer to the pier than it was in reality. However, having said that it was only a 10 min taxi ride in the morning as there is not much traffic on the road at 7am.

The bed was very comfortable. The pool was nice and the room was big. Only stayed for two nights would stay longer.

Doors have very large gap in the bottom so frogs, lizards, spiders and cockroaches can easily get in your room.

The place is quite and there is a lovely beach just in front. Love the swimming pool too!
