There is noisy area with lot of AC machines In the morning time, the beach disappears under water

Large swimming pool, dining room overlooking the ocean, good breakfast and oversized rooms. Hotel is centrally located in downtown Chaweng, walking distance to many restaurants and have scooter rental on site for your convenience.

Nice hotel in the centre of Chewang. Walking distance to Central and many restaurants and bars.

The breakfast was a great deal.

I could hear everything from the room behind walls. It seems that walls are made from carton.

the Wi-Fi in my room was slow, and the power went out for 3hrs one day, so the room got hot. but didn't really bother me

Staff not overly friendly and facilities really sub par. Washroom floor always wet from toilet leak and/or very poor shower over spray. Constant water on the floors created uncomfortable humidify in the room.

Great location if you like to be in the center., and also have peace and quite with a beach and pool. Also great breakfast, overlooking the pool and the beach.

At the beginning they were going to put us in rooms closer to the parking lot.

The restaurant closed at 6pm ! There was no beach. The hotel policies were only to protect there interests . No show me a pleasant stay

Disgusting

Very dirty mirrors and windows, the toilet wasn’t cleaned at all, and when I took a shower, brown water was running from the tiles — it was that filthy!! Never again.Unfriendly staff.

Our ‘go to’ hotel if we want to be in the central restaurant and bar area of Chaweng Beach. Rooms are back off the Main Street so it’s quiet to sleep. There is a nice pool sitting over the beach and a beachside restaurant. Staff are friendly. Restaurant is good. Rooms have good beds with good AC. Good value overall for this area of Chaweng Beach

Sometimes booked out by large groups, and be aware that check in and check out times are strict which is understandable in busier hotels.

Great location, by the beach and close to all main street center chaweng. A lot of stuff around, make the feeling of safe environment. Quite ok breakfast.Pool is good

Noise from airplans, room and other hotel facilities look poor and very old. Shower was not good - hot and cold water mixed and its not consistent.Towels just for 1 time use per day in pool.Feeling like you constantly being watched.

The location is great, one of the best locations that you can probably have. FREE rides to and from the airport. Clean and and basic overall but in my opinion you don’t need more if you outside most of the day.

The breakfast is basic, not too fancy, so be ready, I’m not saying its bad but don’t expect for something crazy.

Great location on the beach with a pool looking over the beach and sea. Very central to many restaurants and bars, but just far enough away from the loudest clubs to be quiet enough to sleep. Restaurant on the beach. Happy hour drinks available. Friendly restaurant staff.

Smokers outside on balconies occasionally brought a smoke smell into the room. Beds were a bit firm. Check in a check out times appeared quite firm, but that could also be related to high season.

Good breakfast and location for those who wanna go party

The area is very loud at night cuz of the music and during all day you hear how airplane landing because it’s right nearby airport

How can you ruin such a massive beachfront property?We recently stayed at Combo Beach Hotel (still branded as “Combo Beach Club & Resort” on all neon signs), and we honestly can’t understand how anyone could ruin such a prime location this badly.More than half of the beachfront area has been taken over by a so-called “beach club” – a massive restaurant-style building where loud house music is blasted all day, every day, at full volume. This happens regardless of the fact that most guests seem to be families with children or older pensioners looking for peace and quiet.In the middle of it all, they’ve built a turquoise-painted, disco-style rectangle that looks more like an abandoned basketball court than anything else. It’s hard to tell what it’s meant to be, but relaxing it is not.To fit all of this in, the hotel pool has been reduced to a tiny plunge pool – barely 100 cm deep, with space for maybe 5 people before it feels overcrowded. So everyone squeezes in, surrounded by blasting house music, trying to make the best of it.Because so much space has been taken up by this “club”, the rest of the hotel seems like an afterthought. The guest rooms are crammed into three-story military-style barracks, with buildings so close together that you’re basically forced to get to know your neighbors – whether you want to or not. There’s zero privacy, and the soundproofing is so poor that you hear everything, all the time.The one positive is the location – if you want to be in the middle of town. But the beach right in front of the hotel is not swimmable, so you’ll have to walk a bit if you want to get into the water.The renovation they talk about is poorly done. Our toilet had to be fixed five times during our stay. Everything feels cheap, thrown together, and it honestly gave the impression of being more of a holding facility than a resort.We will not be returning

The location is good .

I faced a problem with the cooling of the A/C , the performance of the A/C was so poor and the action from the reception was poor as well.

Me & my friend got upgraded from a room with 2 single beds & bathroom, to a 2 queen bedroom & 2 bathroom, lounge room & kitchen with a huge fridge , sink , dining table & huge sea view balcony . It was one of the highlights of our Koh Samui holiday & also included was free breakfast every morning with freshly made eggs of your choice . Was very clean & an amazing stay & the tour booking service was great too . Thank you very much to all the staff at Beach Combo resort , Thanks Michelle & Lena
