Nora Buri Resort & Spa

We had a wonderful stay at Nora Buri Resort & Spa — a beautiful resort tucked into the lush hills of Koh Samui, with lovely views of the sea and surrounding landscape.The location feels peaceful and a great escape from busier parts of the island. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, and it was one of the highlights — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing with a sea view right outside the door

The small beach near the property isn’t ideal for swimming and that you’ll likely need to visit other nearby beaches for a proper seaside experience.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly, and they put me a birthday cake for my birthday.

1. The Wifi was hardly working, every hour was disconnecting.2. The location was far from the city center, even thought it’s in “Chaweng beach” but it’s in north of the beach, which is far around 10 mins by car.3. It’s not indeed “beachfront”, the beach is rocky and you can’t swim there! We tried to walk 30 mins on the beach just to find a good(and clean) beach to swim.4. If you want to walk outside the hotel, you just CAN’T, dark outside without lights, there is no sidewalk for people- only cars and it’s dangerous.5. Also the grab is actually expensive there! For 4 mins by car they took 300 TBH, like what? I thought the Hotel will arrange shuttle services during the day specially because of their location.

Couldn't be happier with my experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious and immaculately clean.

very minor thing, wifi asks you to re-login every few hours, which is quite uncomfortable

All together it’s very worn down. There are too less sunbeds at the beach/ pool are.It’s not worth the money

We loved the view , quietness and the restaurant.

We thought the hotel is starting to show its age and its calling for a refresh. Considering that the hotel location is not close to any attractions the shuttle option is very limited ( once a day in one direction only)

Everything staff was amazing and could not do enough for you.Facilities are amazing both pools are fantastic views.There for a wedding which was amazing , staff and hotel put on fantastic service.The whole place was just fantastic

The sea view pool needs TLC loads of tiles cracked and the pointing needs doing.

To many steps to rooms.No suitable for the older person.I was recovering from a flu bug so found all steps a struggle

Beautiful resort, not the best location but easy to get taxis. Great for relaxing as the pools are amazing. I wouldn't recommend for families with young kids or people with mobility issues as not much to do besides swim and eat and can be difficult with getting around on the buggies as the whole property is on a steep hill but for adults who want to just rest and relax it was amazing. The staff drive the buggies (golf cart) to get you around the property and they are helpful amd friendly.. (Still steps etc which could be hard for prams)

The staff were lovely and being just outside of Chaweng the location was good too, away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was great and we never had to wait too long for a buggy to take us back to our room.

The resort very much needs refurbishing. It’s very tired and in some places unsafe, like no grout around sharp tiles in the pool. If the work was carried out it would be a lovely property but definitely not 5 star in it’s current state. Also, lots of stairs so unsuitable for anyone with walking/fitness issues.

The resort was phenomenal. Everything exceeded our expectations from the room to the breakfast to the service. We booked the sea facing villa which had a huge bedroom, opens to the private pool and overlooks the sea. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious (the bath had 2 standing showers and 1 bath tub) and even the private pool was pretty huge. The facility is in great condition and everything worked fine. The breakfast was very grand and had a lot of options. We were greeted with welcome drinks and since we were on our honeymoon, we got complementary cake and decor for the room. We couldn't do a dinner at the beach (needs to be booked separately) so they were kind enough to setup a table in our villa. Overall a great experience with friendly staff and amazing views.

It's a slightly remote location, if you want to roam around outside of the property there's not much to do. The night market and night life is a little farther away and you'll have to take a cab to get there.

Very clean. Adorable staff especially Mook who gave some great advice. Good aircon. Overlooks the river.

The location was right near a very busy bridge. Could hear the heavy traffic all night. Taxi drivers had difficulty finding the hotel as tucked down a side street. We could walk to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho areas, but the steps to the bridge wasn’t great with homeless people sleeping there and somebody even having a wash in the river!!

The air conditioner in the room is very weak which makes it uncomfortable in the heatWe paid good value for this hotel while checking out they asked me for the sleeping slippers which every hotel give for free, we stayed at cheaper hotel they offered a range of mini bar for free but nora buri everything should be paid and is expensive . I really did not like that i had to open my bag to return a used slipper?? All guests wear the same one??

Good maintained facility, with everything you need daily. Good food, good views, good service
