Samui Green Hotel

For the price, it was great. King bed, spacious room, mini fridge, water restocked daily. Location right by the beach, within walking distance to most places in chaweng, not too loud of an area.

The towels were uncomfortably crispy. The toilet struggled to flush, usually had to flush at least twice for it to work. The window didn’t fully shut so the street noise was quite loud. Bed was hard, like most around here. I got woken up to staff banging on my door at 1am one night, it scared the crap out of me. I think she said she had the wrong room but I was confused on the reason for it in the first place… maybe a wake up call? Overall, with a better toilet, I would still stay again for that price!

There was a strong smell of smoke in the room. People are allowed to smoke on the property (including marijuana), and the smell kept coming into my room. Since I don’t smoke, this was a problem for me.On the last day, I also got bitten by bed bugs. I’m not sure whether they came from the armchair, the bed, or the bedsheets, but I have many bites. Unfortunately, because I’m allergic, the reaction will last for about two weeks.

Perfect. We couldn’t ask for more, slept well not noisy or anything, right next to the beach and the main strip so was fun to walk around plenty to do/see/eat.

Right in the city centre but just 5 mins from the beach, close to the airport as well. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. The restaurant downstairs was excellent as well, affordable yet delicious food. The also have a place to wash your feet after the beach so you won’t bring sand in your room.

Elevators are only for luggage, one of the beds in our room for 3 was really uncomfortable

The hotel was decent overall, but there is room for improvement. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.However, the rooms felt a bit outdated and could have been cleaner. In terms of value for money, it was an average experience. It could be suitable for a short stay, but those looking for a more comfortable experience might want to explore other options.

Great location with the beach nearby and some great food options walking distance. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The cleaners were also amazing.

Room was dark. Sliding door to balcony was quite tricky to shut and lock properly. The club next door was loud. We had earplugs and a sound machine so it was ok overall, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Very good

There was a problem with the pre-booked airport pick-up. But it was resolved after one phone call and a 45 min wait. The AC stopped working but was fixed within 2 hours.

It was in a good location for the beach and about 10-15 min walk to Central Samui

Rooms were fairly basic but okOn our second night there were a group of men in nearby rooms that thought it was ok to be yelling and shouting at each other between 2 and 4am but no staff on site to speak about it with.

-prepare for smoke and marihuana smell in hotel room. Why? Because hotel provides ashtrey on 2nd floor inside (!) the hotel (see foto) and it goes all through your door into your room-3% credit card surcharge, despite stating on hotel description that there is none-lying to us by saying we didn't provide credit card on booking.com, but we obviously did and when we called booking.com they say that the hotel never requested it-they state 8.6 rating on booking behind reception (see foto) but its 7.6 -receptionist doing our check-in was unbelievably rude-multiple times housekeeping took hand towel and didn't replace it-loud at night from motorbikes outside, windows aren't too good-power shortage multiple times on last day-every 12hours wifi turns off and you have to login again with username and password-bathroom has no real door-never changed bed linen (we stayed 9 nights)

We really liked the hotel, the location is very good, the sea is nearby, there is an inexpensive cafe, everything was clean and convenient. We are very happy with the hotel.

It was a bit noisy to sleep at night because of the road nearby. So we used earplugs and slept well.

The 2 bedroom apartment was great. Lots of space and clean. Beach was an easy walk away.

Windows dirty. No privacy, People from massage studio can look into the room Black curtains can be used but then the room is totally dark. Totally overprized for havibg no privacy. I wanted a calm time I didnt feel comfortable and had to stay 3 nights

Big room. Bed was comfortable. Location was perfect. Close to Chewang beach, restaurants, massage. Restaurant onsite is very good.

Just an fyi - there is no elevator. 4 flights of stairs to the upstairs level.

Clean, spacious, close to everything but not too busy. Perfect for getting a good rest. Really close to the beach as well.

Traveling as a family of 5, we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was huge, we had plenty of room and we had our own private access. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The location is excellent, down the quiet end of Chawang beach but still close enough to walk to the center. Beach is 2 minute walk. Excellent value, will definitely stay again next time we visit. Thanks for a great stay.
