Baan Boom Boxes Resort

The rooms are nice, clean with comfortable beds a large bathroom and little kitchen area with a few plates and cutlery. On top of the room is a shaded deck with a bathtub but it was not clear how one would use the bath. Our room had a bonus of resident cat and kittens under the seat. The pet dog was very keen to ascend the stairs so we had to keep the doors closed. Breakfast was good with real mulberry jam, fruits, eggs and sausages for 100 baht each. You could make yourself a hot drink anytime with free bananas available. I was fascinated by all the fruit trees but didn't stay long enough to find out all about them unfortunately. I would have loved it if there were labels on some of the unusual trees. The pool looked inviting but we didn't get time to use it. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The staff were very kind and friendly and organised a taxi to the airport for 400 baht.

I was hoping this hotel being a bit more expensive would have conditioner for my 4 day snorkelling crazy hair mess. It didn't so I asked to use some of their aloe vera which worked ok. I later discovered our other room did have conditioner, so I had spent 2 hours combing and it could have been easier if I'd known it was available. Also one of our rooms had a hot water heater and the other didn't so I guess the facilities are not standardised. I picked the area as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle but of course you have to accept there are no restaurants nearby. The proprietor suggested grab and even said she could take us which was very nice. In the end we just had our emergency 2 minute noodles we had packed. One of the units the floor boards in the kitchen seemed fragile. It must be a challenge maintaining facilities in the high humidity.

We loved our stay here. It was super comfortable, a beautiful resort and such an interesting eco-friendly concept. The staff was amazing and it was just amazing to be in the middle of the jungle. Very clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Such an amazing vibe!

There were a couple bugs, but that comes with the location and the bathroom smelled a little weird but easy to get over.

We loved our stay at Baan Boom Boxes up in the jungle! It really is in the thick of it and is so beautiful ?? The boxes themselves are genius and offer great privacy, ample space & an amazing private balcony AND rooftop terrace with a bath tub! The communal pool area is peaceful and very pretty surrounded by trees and flowers ? AC great and the bed was extremely comfortable ? the only noise you will hear are the bugs & frogs etc it is amazing nature, but is still only a 10 min taxi from fisherman’s village! We even got grab food delivery one evening which worked really well ✨The host who lives on site is lovely and very helpful- she offers a great breakfast and she even organised a fruit platter & fresh passion fruit juice for us on our balcony when we wanted to sleep in and missed breakfast. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

A couple creepy crawlies in the bathroom but nothing major and to be expected in the jungle!

The breakfast (extra for a small price) and host were amazing. So sweet and relaxing. The pool area and room were amazing.

It always took us about 10 minutes to get to new locations, which is not a problem if you do not want to explore much. However, since you could rent a scooter you can still be quite flexible.

Our room was super comfortable we had a fan aswell as aircon, lovely shower, very spacious, gorgeous pool outside too. The garden was also lovely

Super value for money. Location is very peaceful and away from the crowds. It has all the amenities you need, including adequate pool and nice garden with a very personal touch. For the eco conscious (recycled materials, solar power...). The hosts were super kind and provided at the end free drop off at the airport. You also feel that the money goes to locals not some international conglomerate. Highly recommended for a short stay.

To go around a scooter is needed, but renting one is super affordable. Well worth the effort.

Clean, beautiful nature, comfortable beds

Great size. Great family run hotel. My room had a large fridge freezer, 2x balcony, roof terrace (with a large concrete bath on the roof?) good AC and a small kitchette with a kettle thing.. I just loved it and will be returning there in a couple of weeks.

A hand towel would be handy and a towel rail / hook in the bathroom. But literally that's all.

The hotel is in a great location many beach’s nearby and the hotel itself is tucked away in a small jungle. The room was very spacious and very clean. Everything worked in the room very well, the bed is solid and very comfortable the bathroom was spotless and new and the balcony had a lovely view of the garden. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming as well as helpful. The pool area is clean and beautiful and there is free coffee & tea at the reception.

The rooms are really nice and clean, featuring the most beautiful and clean bathroom we’ve encountered on our trip. The tropical surroundings are stunning. We loved relaxing by the clean pool and working on my computer, thanks to the excellent internet access throughout the property. The roof terrace was perfect for morning yoga, stargazing, and enjoying the jungle sounds at night. Breakfast was amazing, with two eggs, toast, jam, butter, and plenty of fresh, delicious fruits. The complimentary coffee and tea offered all day was a great perk. We had a wonderfully calm and relaxing time as a family of three. There weren’t any other children there at the time, but the staff were very child-friendly and even created a small football court for kids to play, which our son loved. While it’s a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurant without a scooter, and although the streets don’t have much traffic, I would still recommend renting a scooter to get around. There’s a very cozy village feel with good, cheap restaurants and some street food about a kilometer away from the resort.

The property was extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We loved all the homely touches and eco friendly nature of the resort. The pool was delightful and clean. Very happy with our stay

Absolutely nothing! (We loved it)

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Amazing! It’s very quiet here—you can hear the sounds of nature. The place is incredibly green, with a stunning landscape. There’s a fantastic pool, spacious rooms with stylish renovations, and breathtaking views from the panoramic windows. Waking up to this view is pure magic. Super clean.Good internet, I’m working remotely and I never had any issues. The breakfasts are amazing, homemade by the host, and very affordable. Plus, they’ve been incredibly helpful with all my requests—whether it was an early breakfast or a ride somewhere, they were always accommodating. I ended up extending my stay, and they even found me a free room for a couple more nights, which I’m extremely grateful for.

The owner is sweetest lady that will take care of all your needs. She’ll get you a car, a bike, sell you big water bottles, coconuts, breakfast, laundry service.

I wish i was able to walk to the main street, had to rent a car, and the owner helped me get a ride in the times i couldn’t drive.

Beautiful, quite location surrounded by the nature. Birds and other sounds were so lovely to hear every single day. Beautiful facilities - nice clean rooms with everything you need. Lovely terrace for a morning coffee. Also the staff was very nice, friendly, polite :)

A bit far away from all the shops, etc, but that’s what I needed :) So this was not really a minus for me.

The place is so beautiful, quiet, everything is from recycled materials which adds value. The owner is lovely, she has scooters for rent so if you don’t mind driving a little bit this place is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend. The pool is clean and niceWe stayed there twice already.

Extra terrace on roof with bath and shower, amazing views & sunset, friendly people, nice breakfast, helped us book our transport, we would've likes to stay longer than 2 nights! Would come back. Spacious room, nice pool, everything was nice. Nice beds!

You need a motorbike, but on foot the walk is doable and nice also, they didn't serve food at night but there are alot of restaurants and bars nearby, so no problem

There were some small critters (small ants, no cockroaches or anything like that) in our bathroom. But nothing too serious especially when you take into consideration the surrounding Nature.

We loved the stay at Baan Boom Boxes!The most surprising thing was the kind hosts – we felt like at home. They kindly offered to rent a scooter without any deposit, offered to take us to the airport at 5 am. in the morning (400 THB) The cabin was very cozy. It has everything you need – a TV (unfortunately it didn't work one night because there was no Wi-Fi), a fridge, air conditioner, towels, shampoo, soap... There is a pool as well. Here you can feel like in a real jungle.

Sometimes there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom is like a sauna – horribly hot. If it is not terribly hot outside, mosquitoes attack.
