People are kind and helpful, always show positive aura. The bed is very comfortable. The location is perfect. Close to everything

It's old and you're paying more than its look. But I'm not complaining

Loved the location! Tucked away in a corner, away from the busy street, but still very walkable to beach, markets, bars, etc. Bonny was extremely kind and we never saw her not smiling. Amazing staff & very affordable.

The door to the balcony didn’t lock & chair on balcony was broken- but we never felt unsafe either.

Great location, clean, staff is incredibly kind and supportive. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The water pressure is low, although I don't believe that has to do with the hotel but with the area.

Bonny Hotel is a little gem in the heart of Lamai Beach. The hotel location is excellent with a 5 minute walk to the beach, and numerous choices of international and Thai food restaurants and bars a short walk away, yet the hotel remains quiet at night despite the central location. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with good bathrooms, a good balcony to sit outside and comfortable in-room seating and bed. The staff are amazing. They are incredibly friendly and helpful and make everyone feel like family with their genuine warmth and kindness. Excellent value for money, a good location and wonderful staff.

Water pressure could be stronger especially when you are trying to get sand out of your hair

This was easily the most hospitable & friendliest staff on my visit to Phuket & Ko Samui. Nong especially was so kind. I requested a lower floor in advance and got it. My suitcase handle was damaged by airport baggage staff somewhere..Nong organised to get it fixed.Organised taxi for me to airport..cheaper than Grab! I cannot but recommend this great hotel. I'm known as Dan and Nong remembered this every time!

A few small things..bathroom a little dated..and a little difficult to turn off the air-conditioning.. button on remote a bit dodgy

Nice, clean, spacious rooms just two minutes walk from the centre of Lamai Beach, but it's the helpfulness of Nong and Lek that make a stay at the Bonny Hotel a truly exceptional experience.

March 2025: There is ongoing construction work taking place right next to the hotel, and this is quite intrusive in the daytime, but we were made aware of this at the time of booking.

Amazing stay, staff are exceptional. Big comfy bed, netflix, good shower and nice balcony. Cleaned and water filled up daily

Really loved my stay here. The owner helped me coordinate transportation and was super helpful with information about the area. All of the staff were very welcoming. The hotel is in a fabulous location. Within a 5min walk from everything you could need. Really great restaurants everywhere as well. Would stay here again!

The staff were absolutely amazing! When I asked if reception could order me a taxi to pick up my laundry, they instead offered to drive me there themselves at night, free of charge. Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out to me on my trip to Thailand so far. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely mountain view. The hotel is also conveniently located on the main strip of Lamai, making it easy to explore the area.

The only downside was that you could tell the hotel is a bit dated. However, for the price you pay, it's absolutely worth it & and still provides a wonderful experience

We absolutely loved our stay here !! Starting with the staff, they are all incredibly friendly and always willing to help, in particular P’Nong, she was an incredible host, making us feel so welcome and relaxed, greeting us at check-in with a chilled bottle of water and writing out 3 pages of recommendations of restaurants, things to do and services the hotel can provide. She was always eager to help and always going the extra mile by chatting with us and greeting us every time we came in and out of the hotel, and knowing our names and everyone else’s in the hotel ! This really made us feel so welcomed and comforted. The best customer service and the most kindness we have experienced from any hotel so far in Thailand. The room is clean, spacious yet cosy and the room is made up for you every day and the fridge is restocked with bottled water. It has a nice balcony and a smart TV, and the bathroom is clean and spacious with a nice hot shower, with a water filter already attached. The location is great surrounded by loads of restaurants and bars. Barely a 5 minute walk Lamai Beach, and just up the road from the Lamai night market. We honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. By far our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in !

Really good location close the beach, restaurants, supermarket, etc. We stayed on the first floor, so no issue climbing floors with our luggage. They were really nice to us, they made us feel at home. A big big Thanks ??

Great little hotel in a fantastic location close to everything in Lamai. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay And the location is perfect in the center of Lamai, yet still quiet. Highly recommended!

Close to the beach and all the restaurants and the lamai night market was a walking distance away. Staff was very helpful with sorting out transfers/ferries.

It is near construction you have to walk past but we didn’t mind plus it wasn’t loud! Shower pressure not good, but beds really comfy
