Impiana Beachfront Resort Chaweng Noi, Koh Samui

Excellent room, spa, pool, beach, bar, and restaurants

It is far from anything else; there is a shuttle, but it only runs three times a day.

The beach was good.

Our room was in poor condition - bed was hard, not overly clean, and bad sewage smell outside our room that came into our room. Breakfast was subpar and tables were not clean or the plates/cutlery.

Rooms but dated

All units seem to be more or less ocean-facing, and the hotel is relatively small-sized, making for a sense of peacefulness. The breakfast and food were very good. We enjoyed the music duo who performed in the evenings. Chaweng Noi is fundamentally a good beach.

As much as we enjoyed the music duo, it would be nice to have some variety of performers. And sadly, the beach is quite marred by trash, in large part coming in with the tide and, as far as we could tell from our daily walks and day-long trip around the island, ubiquitous throughout Ko Samui. More consistent efforts to clean up the beach in front of the hotel - several times a day - would have dramatically improved our experience.

The location and the beach are great.

The property is not well maintained. We had to request several repairs in the room like outlets and the phone. Also, a lot of bugs inside the room.

We took the honeymoon suite. It's right by the water and it was perfect. Super comfortable, especially with a little baby when you want to hang at the beach but have the room available at all times.The beach is BEAUTIFUL with clear turquoise water (not the case in all beaches in Koh Samui or Koh Phangan) with beach beds and sun shades (although it would be nice if they had nore shades).Nice restaurant, great breakfast.

The location is problematic, cut off in a way. The hotel is far away from the south of Chaweng, There is no sidewalk outside of the hotel and there is a busy highway, so getting around by foot is quite dangerous (especially with a littlw baby and a stroller).The hotel is built on a hill, and the hotel itself is not accessible at all with a stroller, so you have to carry it by hand up and down its stairs.

The location on Chewang Noi beach was beautiful - the sand & water were lovely & great for kids. The hotel grounds were very pretty & well maintained. Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh egg station!

We had 2 rooms on the ground floor overlooking the pool. The aircon was not working in 1 room on the first night, so we had to move to another room. The standard rooms are very small & quite dark, even with the lights on. Everything felt damp & the rooms had a bad musty smell unfortunately. We only had hot water on the first night, the water was freezing after that. The price we paid was very reasonable, so we didn't complain too much!

Situated at the quiet end of Chaweng Noi. Beachfront location with the Honeymoon suite literally on the sand. Other restaurants and bars close by however the onsite bar and restaurant were fantastic with a great selection of food and beverage. Breakfast was awesome - so much to select from. Staff were very friendly especially the bar staff Pul and Pung (sorry about spelling). Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the head of housekeeping was also very friendly and efficient with our needs.

I don’t even know where to start this review, when we arrived and checked in to our room it was not the room that I had booked online, I am aware that rooms can vary in hotels but I booked this ‘ seaside room ‘ specifically for the views so it was very disappointing when the room wasn’t the same especially as it said in the description ‘ seaside ‘. Upon checking the hotel map that is on the inside of the door, other rooms that are marked as ‘ seaside ‘ are literally facing the road on the other side which makes zero sense.When asked about the room staf almost looked at you like you are asking them to go to the moon and back, after a while they agreed with changing our room the next day.Regarding the room itself, housekeeping is either coming at 5pm or doesn’t come at all. In case you are lucky and they went to ‘ clean ‘ the room, they don’t clean the shower and most of the time don’t give new towels even if they take the old ones. Almost everyday we had to ask for the room to be cleaned.Also note that when entering the room they often don’t close the door, we came back to the hotel various days and the door was unlocked open which is unacceptable.The shower is absolutely disgusting with mold in the corners. Also note that there is no extractor in the bathroom so all the humidity from the shower will stay in your room.About a week in the room got so damp that my clothes that were hanging in the closet start to colour transfer on each other.The bedsheet is literally the size of the mattress, so when you are laying in the bed with 2 persons the sheets are not covering you.WiFi doesn’t t work most of the time.We were unlucky with the weather but staying inside didn’t save us from the rain, it literally rained inside, everywhere in the hall and in the room.

We learned to truly appreciate the location and quietness of this hotel. Close enough to town, mid point between Lamai and Chewang. The beach is quiet, not fussed, not crowded and allows you to relax. Yes there are sellers walking up and down, but not like the other beaches that are jam-packed. It's high end on a budget so to speak. Jump on a taxi outside and your anywhere you want to be within ten minutes so to speak. The entrance is on a bend, so if you want Chewang you need to cross over, and for Lamai, just walk to the left of the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style and ample.

People putting towels on chairs first thing in the morning and then going off, sometimes for the day. Watch your room bill, they charged us minibar for items not used, not just our room either, happened to others too.

Location is perfect and the beach is also very nice . Is very good deal do money

Air Conditioner in the room is very very noisy and the bed are very uncomfortable

Hot water in the shower constantly disappeared, poor lighting in the bathroom so it was difficult to shave/do make u0, ants in the room, bed sheets should be changed every other day according to their information but was not changed for a week. They did not always give new towels despite old ones were put in the laundry basket. We did not get new/clean glasses so had to wash them ourselves. Bathroom and fridge not cleaned when we got the room.

Food fantastic, Beach fantastic plus swimming pool, ,large room nice and clean ,friendly helpful staff, .would highly recommend..didn't want to leave ,would definitely go back .Thank you for the lovely pack lunch provided due to early morning travel.

I have a walking problem.and no.liftts lots of stairs. Make sure you ask for on the beach accommodation...my fault I didn't mention my problem

My family had a lovely stay and highly recommend the resort! The included breakfast was wonderful, a large selection ranging from Western to Thai options. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Helping us with transport and booking the best tours!

There was a problem with the hot water shower which was immediately attended to.It was off and on for 2 days , but luckily they replaced the cylinder, so the next person won't have a problem ?

The resort has beach access.

Facilities, cleanliness, breakfast and service is poor. Location is quite far from central things and main tourist attraction.

The hotel is the most expensive place in chaweng for food and drink breakfast is amazing but lunch dinner and drinks and the mini bar iis over priced..there is a lovely place across the road that does amazing food and drink ate do much cheaper
