    • I recently had the pleasure of staying at Samui Garden Home on Koh Samui, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled between Hua Thanon and Lamai Beach, this tranquil resort offers a perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty. The villas are spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring cosy living areas, kitchenettes, and private balconies. My beachfront villa provided stunning views and a constant sea breeze, creating a serene atmosphere that was both peaceful and rejuvenating. The resort's lush tropical gardens and well-maintained pool area added to the overall charm. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, surrounded by the vibrant greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. Their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome and well-cared for throughout my stay. Conveniently located, Samui Garden Home is just a short distance from local attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet it maintains a sense of seclusion and tranquillity. Whether you're looking to explore the island or simply unwind, this resort offers the best of both worlds.I highly recommend Samui Garden Home to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway on Koh Samui. It's a hidden gem that combines comfort, natural beauty, and exceptional service.

    • Good spot, own house

    Cons -

    • The bed needs replacing, it was a little uncomfortable.
    • I would image when the resort was new it was a great place. Over the years, it's become worn and in need of some TLC.We'd booked a family 2 bedroom bungalow. Unfortunately, the bungalow had been decorated the day prior to our arrival, but had not been aired out and all doors and windows closed. Upon entering it, the paint fumes were very strong and the building couldn't be lived in. They provided us with 2 x smaller rooms as no other bungalows were available. After 2 days the bungalow had been aired out enough (just) to live in, so we moved into it. Again, it needed some TLC, but was a good size and we liked it.
    • Poor build quality, exterior is nice but inside isn’t better than a 30€/night stay

The quiet. The tropical garden around the room. To be able to sit on the balcony surrounded by beautiful garden area. Peaceful.

The bed was too hard but as soon as I mentioned this to staff they arranged a topper that improved it. otherwise a pleasant stay.

I loved the hammock outside our villa and that we could rent a moped right there for a reasonable price. Very convenient.

Not the places fault, but it wasn't a nice beach like I was expecting. They also didn't have a do not disturb sign so they came to give us new towels and make the bed which we weren't expecting. The front desk woman was nice enough, but the guy barely spoke or understood ANY English which is rough while working in the tourist industry. Any interact I had with him was dreaded and frustrating.

Nice bungalow, big sleeping room and living room. Beautiful green garden.

We had the superior Bungalow next to Samui ring road, very very noise all day and night. Not recommended if you are travelling with a baby or children. The beach was dirty and not maintained. The pool water was dirty. And pool facilities (toilet, shower, seats, sunbeds) were not cleaned/maintained.

The accomodation is perfect, clean stylish, very spacious. The rooms always smelled amazing, I have no expertise there, but it was a big plus. The staff were all fantastic. really nice to me all the time, i loved them. Moi (maybe spelled wrong) is such a good help, she explains things clearly and keeps you right, was always thankful she was there to answer q's succinctly. The bathroom was great, kitchen amazing, bedroom so so nice, fluffy pillows large wardrobes and mirrors, huge double bed and good aircon throughout, everything spotlessly clean. the living area is very spacious and comfortable my photo shrinks its size considerably, tv there to play music and a nice dining table. the balcony and private garden were so relaxing, sit and listen to the jungle. you rarely see any of your neighbours, privacy all around was 11/10. so nice to have a place on holiday where you can escape into luxury. cabs into Lamai/airport were good price and also easy to organise. The situation is just great, a cool 5 minute scooter ride away from Lamai beach, which was so peaceful in the evening. never used the beach out front or the pool, didnt try breakfast, all because I was too obsessed with driving my scooter and needed reasons to do so every 5 minutes. do not be scared to try its very very easy and makes the stay and location much better.

I read a bad review about how they were given a different room to the photo's on booking.com. This happened to me and it doesnt make the slightest bit difference because the quality of the bungalow is too high to complain. its a five star hotel style accomodation, and ive worked in many and this was a clear 5 star. the room was near the main road (tall wall blocks out all sight) but inside the bungalow you dont get much of the noise, but you get a bit sure on that balcony closest t the road, but for travelling somewhere new it is nice to be somewhere easily accessed. there was also construction outside. but ko samui and lamai is a hive of activity, to complain about development is silly and its not intrusive unless you desperately want it to be. still with the bungalow nearest the road and construction i still felt as if in a secret jungle hideaway all for me. oh there is ants, its a jungle, they are too smal to nip and only where food is, so just dont leave food out my god. or like me make an offering daily and they will migrate to that instead of your kitchen crumbs.

Clean chalet next to swimming pool. Spacious, comfortable, clean. Great value. There was ATMs , a store for small food and drinks., launderette. 100 yards away. Good restaurant I went to daily very good and close.

Location was too far away from Lamai town/city. Busy road to cross.

    7KurtisPosted on: 9-1-2024

Very good for couples that don't want to do alot, very quiet area and good that they offered free transport to lamai beach daily at a certain time, nice pool and considering it is also a residential area still very private

Location was abit too far out of the way, not alot walking distance always needed transport anywhere, cleaners do come at unsual times and sometimes inconvenient but do a good job and change sheets once a week, pool amenities were lacking (no umbrellas/lack of sun beds and showers weren't cleaned)

    9GidoPosted on: 8-9-2024

Nice bungalow with plenty of space. Living room with a couch and TV if you feel lazy for a change and want to Netflix and chill. Good steady internet. Comfy bed.

It may be a bit too far from Lamai to travel all the time but that can also be a good thing. You definitely need transportation and I was fine with a rental motorbike the accommodation supplied for me.

Exceeded my expectations, I hadn't realised the villa was separate from the hotel so the beach really is yours, only a handful of people walking by occasionally so perfect if you are looking for privacy and seclusion! The villa itself was perfect, very well put together and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and managed to arrange a very last minute taxi to the pier as I had missed the original taxi I had booked, thanks to them I made it in time for my ferry. Cannot recommend staying here enough. It was pure bliss

Big spacious rooms and bathrooms.Separate huts, lots of privacy.Night market close by for trying new things.

    9NicholasPosted on: 4-1-2024

The location was amazing as our villa was right on the beach just some 50 metres from the sea! What made it perfect was the constant cooling breeze coming off the sea and right onto our patio. Ample car parking near our villa made life very easy. The resort itself is wonderfully located near to a village with restaurants within a few minutes walk both left and right. There are also sights to see, e.g. an amazing Chinese temple, and interesting market that sells fruit, fish, herbs etc. And of course there is the beach to walk along to all those restaurants and sights instead of the road.

The exit from the small car park onto the main road is just around a corner in the road, and traffic cannot readily see you when you're exiting, so you need to exercise a great of caution when pulling out of the car park.

The top is the staff who will answer all request. Super reactive in case of need and make sure your holiday will be the best of your life.Nice located on the map, fine taste for decoration villa with own garden who gives privacy.Swimmingpool is clean and water regularily changed.Beach is located in front of hotel, just have to cross the street (beach villa’s disponible on request).

Missing a shadow area at the swimming pool. And inform the public to not bring any glass around the swimming pool area.

Lovely staff. Nice bugalow. Great breakfast!! Beautiful pool.

Our bungalow was quite close to the road so it was noisy. The "private beach" was just a joke. Unfortunatelly the beach is on the wrong side of the bay so all the rubbish lands there thanks to the tide. And there was loads and loads of rubbish!! ?

    10NatashaPosted on: 2-26-2024

The bungalow was great, spacious and comfortable. It matched our expectations and the staff were friendly. Having aa convenient store next door was a bonus. The cleanliness of the rooms was very good and having new towels and bottled water provided everyday was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

    8AslomPosted on: 1-23-2024

The accommodation was great. It was super close to the beach and extremely spacious. The location was great and the staff were very helpful.

There was no hot water for a shower. The tub outside didn't seem like it was clean enough to use.
