Didn’t have breakfast, but location was excellent. rooms small but comfortable… Staff helpful.

Nothing…. Just had to change rooms during my stay because i extended. It’s understandable. Will return.

Beware!! I was given the worst room in this average hotel despite paying the highest price, the price I played was for a beach front suit, not a hell hole next the a carpark. The staff were totally unhelpful and in denial. The area is very quiet and there nothing to do here- no nice cafes or restaurants around here at all.

We had a pleasant week long stay at Baanfah Resort. We had a beachfront room with an absolutely stunning view. Each night we fell asleep listening to the sea. The staff were very friendly and personable. The happy hour was great, we had cocktails on the beach almost every day. The resort is located on a beautiful beach which is very swimmable. On both sides of the resort you can walk along the beach to various other restaurants and resorts. The resort is located further away from the main road, but within a 5 to 10 minute walk there is a 7 eleven. There's plenty of restaurants in the area where we had some cheap, delicious meals! There are also some western restaurants in the area. The room is cleaned daily and the towels (both for the shower and beach) are replaced daily. Even with the few negative things, we greatly enjoyed our stay at the relaxing beachfront resort!

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast is very limited compared to European standards. The resort was very clean but there were some things that missed the finishing touches (for instance hanging cabinet doors in the breakfast/restaurant area, on one side the stairs to the beach weren't finished so you could only get to the beach via one stairway).

The front desk staff and management lied to me repeatedly. I booked an ocean front room aka sea view with twin beds. I was given a room with no view and a king sized bed. I was told over and over that this was the only room available. It was suggested (more than once) that they could lay a sheet or a towel down the middle of the bed so it would feel like twin beds. I told them their only option was to give us two rooms, and magically a room with twin beds (not an ocean view) room was found right next to the first room. This while they hemmed and hawed for about 20 minutes. No backup toilet paper, no bedside lamps, shower broken and leaking. Bought soda at the bar a couple of times, was charged different prices each time. Waited twenty minutes for change at the bar.

Nice beach front hotel in a friendly quiet part of Mae Nam, with shops and restaurants nearby. Large comfortable rooms, good service and friendly staff.

It would be good to have more shelves or a wardrobe in the rooms. Breakfasts are a bit repetitive. Overall, we wanted the rooms without breakfasts included (we booked 2 rooms), but for one room it was impossible to exclude breakfast, so at the end we got one room with breakfast and another room without breakfast, which was not convinient.

I booked the beachfront room and it did not disappoint. Incredible views every day! Not as busy as I would’ve thought but I loved this so much. Lovely staff. Restaurants and food were a short walk away.

Only negative to me is I wish I stayed longer

The room was nice and clean, surrounded by the nice nature that was not coming to the room which is good :) Calming and relaxing location, right at the nice and calm beach. however quite pricey, I think you can get sth similar in a better price

Beautiful location, right on the beach with stunning view. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We only stayed one night so can’t comment on the surrounding area and things to do but the sea view room was stunning.

From the start we were made to feel very welcome, being greeted and shown to our room by a lovely lady. The pool was right outside our room, which was lovely for an evening arrival swim. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless, with lots of tea and coffee, shampoo etc. The room was right next to the beach, which meant we could get up early and go for a swim before anyone else was on the beach. Breakfast was buffet style and had lots of options. Lovely restaurant and great service. This was a really lovely place to stay and we wished we could have stayed longer than the one night we stayed for. Great value!

What a perfect location on the beach! No problem to get a sunbed and room around the pool too. Plenty of towels for pool and beach provided. The room itself was a good size. Huge comfy bed. Very clean. There was what seemed to be a kitchen area with a sink and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was big and well lit. The hotel was next to a few shops and restaurants and a short walk to the main road. We hired scooters to get around the island.

The shower had a life of its own when turned on and sprayed the whole room including dry towels and the sink/toilet. Couldn’t get it to stay in one position.

Very nice view specially rooms which behind of beach. Nice sea and Long Beach to walk during sunshine and sunset.

The location is amazing! Right on the beach.All the staff are very friendly and genuinely care that you are enjoying your stay. It’s very clean, the food is incredible - best green curry I had anywhere in Thailand. Generous happy hours and the barman pours excellent cocktails.

A small thing but be aware the bottomBeachfront deluxe rooms share the lounge chairs in front of the room’s big windows with the other guests and also the public visiting the bar.We assumed this would be a private area for these rooms because it’s directly in front of our room. Also people sitting there can see right in to your room. They can also sit there and smoke. So if people are there you’re stuck either your door closed and even curtains drawn. All the other beachfront rooms have a private area others can’t access. These rooms are wonderful though and the bar isn’t open late.I raised my concerns with the manager and she was very kind and made that area reserved for us during our stay.

I loved almost everything about Baan Fah. The staff is wonderful. The location is great. The beds are very comfortable. But the showers are COLD. It didn’t matter what time of day I took a shower, the water was always cold.

A great location off the main road and a short ride from Fisherman's Village. There are lots of restaurants and bars within a short stroll. The room was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would use it again. Thank you!

We liked the location Our room was cleaned every day and the towels changed every day ,The staff where excellent very helpful

There was just one thing we did not like was happy hour only cocktails where included not the beer

Location was good, small village but everything You need is close by. Sea and the pool were just outside the room and the view was amazing. Everything was very clean and pretty, sunbeds were a little oudated but very comfortable and soft. Room was clean, mattress was nice and form, bathroom was big and comfortable. The bed was made every day and room cleaned, got new clean towels daily. Staff was very friendly, there was a nice happy hour twice a day and mojitos were very good and cheap. You could just walk anywhere along the sea, beach was also clean to walk and leave Your shoes at home. It was good to have a shower by the terrace, so You could clean your feet before going to the room from the beach. AC was very good and helped with the heat. Really loved the clean white resort look that this boutique hotel had. Would definitely come back and is even good to come with the kids.

Pillows were a little bit too big, once saw a cockroach in the room. Breakfast menu was a little bit basic but tasted good. It would have been nice to have a sunshade by the pool sunbeds as well.

The property smelt like sewage. It was that bad in some of the rooms that one of the rooms booked a separate hotel. Additionally, unfortunately the hotel was understaffed, and this meant that we wait 2 hours for our dinner, and only to not receive two of the meals. We were not given anything in return for this wait.The bar staff was very good and drinks were nice, it wasn’t his fault that the food didn’t come, however they are very understaffed. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend unfortunately

Right on the beach with amazing views from the pool. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good choice of cereal, fruit, salads, toast and cooked items. Staff are exceptional - so friendly and helpful. Location is perfect.

There weren't many sun loungers on the beach (maybe 20?) which meant that people got up early (sometimes before it was light!) to lay out their towels and "claim" a sunbed. This is fine except they often didn't occupy them until 11 or later. I would have used a lounger between 8 and 10am quite happily. I don't think you should be able to "bagsy" a lounger for the whole day. Some hotels have signs to this effect or staff will remove towels if a lounger is unoccupied for an extended period.
