Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana Hotel

The hotel is located on Chaweng Beach, one of Samui’s most beautiful beaches, with fine white sand that isn’t too brown, making it a great location.The hotel and rooms are fairly new and beautifully designed. It is recommended to choose the Sea View building, as the City View rooms are in a separate building across the street.

The downside is that it may be a bit far from the Night Market area near Central Samui. It’s walkable, but a little distance.The breakfast selection is not very extensive, but if you would like something special that the staff can prepare, you can let them know.

The room, the pool and the breakfast and the location was perfect and the staff were so nice and welcoming and helpful and also the tourist counter at the entrance was really helpful to book boats or anything else.

The pool was really long so I could swim laps! Linens were all first rate and the bed was super comfy. I booked a room with an ocean and pool view and could hear the waves from my room. Everyone on staff was helpful, really welcoming, and dedicated to me being happy. If I asked for something, it was brought to me within five minutes! I loved being there. I was there eight days and wished I could have stayed longer.

Couldn’t lay on the beach because the tides were high and there wasn’t enough space.

1. The hotel should address the issue of mosquitoes on the premises. It’s quite annoying, and if not properly managed, guests may leave with a negative impression.2. Gym is poor.

I had to upgrade to an overpriced beachfront room because the Deluxe room in the back building (Garden Building) looked like an old, dirty hostel in Morocco.

It was an extremely overpriced property. Breakfast was a joke; too small and overpriced. I regret booking a room with breakfast included because I was stuck with the price tag of a mediocre breakfast. Paint peeling from all wood structures of the building. This property needs some TLC and better upkeep.

Great location, the beach and sand here were beautiful clear and pristine. In a part of town that was well connected but not chaotic. Fun pools and great happy hour deals.

Loud and since the whole hotel is built around the pool a little sound proofing would have gone a long way. Breakfast was middling, and pillows uncomfortable.

Horrible smell in the lobby of the garden wing hotel part. We were there for 3 days and it didn’t go away. There’s also an issue with the shower temperatures going from super cold to boiling without changing anything - this needs to be fixed ASAP. As long as you know that the garden wing feels like a different hotel and not quite Mercure quality (the hallways, smells) and you’re ok with it then it’s fine. The rooms are still Mercure quality and we were still able to use the facilities which are in the beach side hotel

Gorgeous pool, very good breakfast, stuff members are very helpful and always here for you.

We had a lizard in our room for days we try to ignore it till we couldn’t any longer cause it climbed the walls. We had to move a room in the middle of the night, but the stuff was really helpful with this and apologized. Also the pool bar stuff is really tight with the bill, they want you to pay the same moment you’re done with your drink, I didn’t like it.

The room is very nice and clean. Staff are very helpful. Good location, noce beach and close to convenience stores.

There was some misunderstanding about the type of room I booked, however, the staff was kindly organised the room for me.Breakfast is a little bit limited but overall, its ok.

Buffet breakfast was great. Staff were super helpful. Pool options were great and so was access to the beach. Multiple bars were awesome and the room was a decent size and was nice and clean

Luxury Hotel a short walk from the main centre of Chaweng.Rooms are large & luxurious.The pool & restaurants the best we experienced on Koh Samui.Staff were amazing.

The beach was fantastic, pool was never too hot, great location.
