Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa

Large room, comfy beds, very clean property, excellent breakfast buffet with Western and Asian dishes; absolutely gorgeous beach right in front, enough beach chairs. Sand is soft, water entry very gentle, great for swimmers and children. Overall, a beautiful property. The resort has a 100 meter driveway that cuts it off from the noise of the main street above. Super-easy access with short walks to all town attractions. Would definitely return .

Chaweng overall is lively but also noisy, crowded and a little rough-edged. If you stay anywhere in Chaweng you will hear, loudly, every plane take off. The restaurant management is a little sillyt when it come to time of happy Hour, they won't offer happy hour prices to a guest arriving at 3;40 when happy hour starts at 4. Fair enough in some ways but also noteworthy that neighbour restaurants are much more flexible on that point.

The location was wonderful, private yet still close to everything. It was nicer than most places along the Beach as it was more of a Boutique classy feel about it.

Internet,Tv service, I know It's a holiday but when I had Thai Belly I really wanted good tv as I couldn't leave the room, I was too sick, I didn't get sick from this Hotel it was from food on a tour beforehand.

The staff was very nice, the location is perfect, the pool is good.

Breakfast was good but they served the same thing every day. The superior rooms were a bit outdated.

excellent hotel with spacious rooms, most of which are in the form of bungalows with an excellent location inside, a large area, extremely modernly furnished, especially several of the newest buildings that are run at an executive level. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff who you can turn to at any time and immediately receive truly first-class care. The place is wonderful, the beach is great on one side, the sea on the other side, central on a city street but with enough distance so that you don't hear absolutely any noise, as if you were in an Oasis. I highly recommend it to everyone, even to people who have higher demands. The place is excellent and wonderful for a vacation, just two minutes from the largest center, which includes a shopping complex, restaurants and cafes. And the main street itself has countless cafes, restaurants, massage studios and all kinds of necessary things, including mini markets almost at the entrance to the hotel, extremely convenient and great for a vacation and spending your vacation.

Amazing location, on the beach and also in the centre of town. The town was busy but the hotel was hidden away. This is a little gem.

Large size, clean with all needed amenities. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and good pillow selection. Despite being near the main street room was very quiet.

Not enough chairs by the pool and people putting a towel on a chair to "hold" it despite the staff advising and signage posting this is not to be done. Staff were abused when trying to enforce. This system needs to be reviewed to support hte staff and guests.

We stayed there for almost a week, and the hotel area is very nice with lots of tropical plants. Breakfast is varied with lots of options, and own egg-station. Very nice beach and pool (pool mainly used by the kids).

It was very easy to hear the neighbors. We booked two rooms 3 months before arrival, but when checking in they said we could not get connecting rooms as it was full, which we found a bit strange that this wasn’t fixed beforehand as we booked the two rooms together several months ago. Our rooms was even in different buildings, which wasn’t that convenient. We were also very unlucky with the neighbors, next to one of the rooms it was 2 young guys that was there to party, with loud music during the day. Next to the other room was a family with children that cried a lot during the night and woke us up several times as it sounded like the crying came from inside our own room. We got to change one of the rooms a day after as the noice was very disturbing. For this reason alone I wouldn’t recommend staying there, as it does effect the vacation to be woken up during night time of either crying or children or party. We understand it can be noisy when in a hotel, and we aren’t that sensitive to that, but this was on another level and obvious constructions of the walls are not good enough soundproofing (traveled for 3 weeks and never experienced this in other places). Also the sun beds was often held off way before opening times, so we couldn’t find sunbeds at the beach together. They have a 30 minute rule - if you aren’t there during that time staff will remove the towel, but it didn’t seem to be upheld as we never saw any staff remove towels even if people didn’t show up for the beds for several hours (often reserved from 08.00 and they arriving at 10-11).

That wad our second stay at this hotel. Location is just perfect, ambiance is amazing. Your have tranquility and live life at the same time. Staff so kind.

Just keep in mind mosquitos as everywhere in Koh Samui, may be good to bring a device as we did. Regular rooms may need some renovation.

Great location, in the heart of town but you wouldn't know it unless you leave the property. Also brilliant as it's on the beach.

Breakfast can get a bit same-y. The resort is lovely for couples and older people who want to relax.

Great location, lovely room. We turn right, and we're on the beach, we turn left, and we end up in the main street of Chaweng! Best location, amazing staff and the beds on the beach are so comfy.We would come back to this hotel in an instant.

If you want a bed you better be up early, but that's the same the whole world over

Best thing about this hotel is the location - if you want to be on the main street in Chaweng next to all the restaurants and lots of stuff to do, walking distance from the mall.

Leaky air conditionar, water in the shower take long minutes before getting warm, and low pressure..

If you Like to hear very very loud Noise from The aeroplanes, who are starting from 6:30 am in The Morning and fly 500 Meters above your room and if you Like to find all sunbeds reserved if you go to The Beach After breakfast, it is a good Hotel
