I liked everything about this hotel. The staff was great. My bungalow was really nice, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Large room and huge bathroom. The pool, restaurant, and bar are all right on the beach and very nice. The hotel is right on the main road through that area and is surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

The individual cottages were very nice. Staff excellent. Breakfast was amazing!

We loved the beach front location of the hotel. Also, it’s close to many food places, bars and cafes- you can walk on the beach to get to a few restaurants that are near it. The staff was super friendly too

We absolutely loved everything about our one-night stay at Tembo Hotel on Koh Samui. We were just passing through on our way to Koh Phangan, but it turned out to be one a favorite. The hotel arranged a late-night airport pickup, and our driver was fantastic—he even took us to the ferry the next day. The property is gorgeous, with beautiful design details and a relaxed, stylish vibe right on the beach. The staff were super friendly and super helpful, the cocktails were great, and breakfast was delicious. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we loved that there was a wonderful massage spot just down the road called Ning’s that the staff recommended. The beach was spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of loungers and places to hang out. For the price, this hotel is an absolute gem and feels like incredible value. Tembo has a boutique luxury feel without the pretentiousness or price tag. If you want true comfort, great service, and a beautiful beachfront setting, this is the place. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

If I had to mention one tiny suggestion, it would be that it would’ve been nice to have a couple of luggage stands for our roller bags—just to keep things a bit tidier. But that’s truly a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay.

They asked us to use the public bathroom because they have issues with the in-room bathroom water pressure and indeed we weren’t able to even have a shower in our bathroom. Swimming pool is full of hair and dead insects.

The staff were so welcoming, the little bungalow we stayed in was decorated beautifully, and it was well located near the airport and Big Buddha. We wanted somewhere near the port as we were only staying one night before heading to Koh Phangan. We had some delicious chicken skewers and iced coffee before leaving. It was a perfect stay! Thank you.

The villas are impeccable- very comfy beds/pillows and the A/C unit are the best! Staff are all very friendly. Snacks and food by the pool were really good. The view is outstanding.

The pool itself were not that clean. There was an external pump set-up to clean the pool, but it didn’t seem sufficient, which is rather disappointing when staying at a beach club. Prices for food are quite higher than average and the prices in the menu card is not included service charge and vat, which is 17 % on top of the price shown. Pretty annoying that they don’t just show the actual prices, like they do most places. Cocktails are not high standard and is not made by real bartenders. I tried the Caipinhinra and like my last stay 2 years ago, they still can’t make it right. I’m sorry, but it’s not that difficult to use brown sugar and not white sugar.

Cozy hotel is very new and bungalows and common area are built in modern style, we enjoyed a lot the vibes, being directly at the beach. Directly next to the hotel, there is and agency for a trip to marine national park, it is also very close to Elephant sanctuary. Drive to Nathon pier is ~30 min same for Lamai, walking distance to the famous temples is very convenient as well. So the location is just perfect. There are shops across the street, great massage studios and very nice local restaurants. Room was cleaned every day with water supply.Breakfast is ala carte menu but absolutely enough and extremely delicious with focus on every detail.Staff is very friendly and helpful.Overall, food in the restaurant is more pricey but still fine compare to German restaurant.It was amazing stay and can highly recommend it!

The only minor thing is that breakfast is served only from 08:00, for every tour/planned trip the pick up time is around 08:20, therefore it is impossible to have breakfast that day. We were not informed at the arrival that we can rather prebook a breakfast box for take away the day before, or order breakfast day before to have it ready directly at 08:00 next day. This is only small details.

Relaxed atmosphere in the most beautiful and clean surrounds. Staff were friendly and really cared about all the details. The quality of food from the restaurant was amazing. We dined on site much more than we had anticipated because the menu and food was so good.

My bad but the drink and food ordering around the pool was variable, I paid for other peoples that had been added to my bill on a couple of occasions, due to lack of vigilance on my behalf.
