The Cosy Beach Resort

The location on the Mae Nam beach was ideal. We could walk out of our bungalow and within a few steps be on the beach. The pool was clean and comfortable but not very big, but big enough to cool off and walk around. It had a beautiful view of the beach. The rooms are not big, but enough room for two people and their belongings. Wifi was good enough to stream shows and reached to the beach. Plenty of food within a 5 minute walk or less.

Nothing. Our room had a plumbing issue but it was fixed very quickly. We did not eat at the restaurant.

Guidance on tours and activities could have been better. Had better advice from our grab driver.

Everything! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, the food is insanely good, the rooms are amazing, Maenam is the perfect quiet beach not for partiers. Great restaurants around. It felt like home. I was sad to leave. This was my second visit to the Cosy and it certainly will not be my last.

The shower pressure wasn’t great while we were here but they did say they’d been having a problem. But it wasn’t a damper at all.

We had an amazing stay at Cosy Samui. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome — even waiting for our late check-in, which we truly appreciated.We absolutely loved the beachfront villa. Although it was on the more expensive side, it was absolutely worth it. The view was stunning, the atmosphere serene, and the entire space felt like a private retreat. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of storage and a beautiful bathroom filled with natural light.The location on Mae Nam Beach is perfect if you're looking for a calm and relaxing environment. It’s very different from the busier areas like Lamai or Chaweng. Mae Nam offers a peaceful vibe while still having plenty of restaurants, massage salons, and even an evening market nearby — all without the crowds. The beach itself is long and ideal for walks, adding to the tranquil experience. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented, though slightly on the expensive side. We were a bit sad to miss the Sunday barbecue, which we heard great things about!Overall, Cosy Samui offers a perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and warm hospitality. If you're looking for a quiet escape with great service and a stunning beachfront setting, this is the place to be.

We had our own bungalow on the beach at the cosy beach resort. Its location in Maenam is ideal because not only can you have a swim, but also enjoy very nice dining experiences only five minutes away by foot. Our bungalow was very nice, quite spacious and really comfortable. Maenam is a bit low key, but enables you to relax fully. The employees are very friendly and always eager to assist. My wife could enjoy their Thai breakfast with a dazzling view onto the sea. Lunch and dinner are also served there, but we didn't try.

There was no water evacuation plumbing system for the shower. As a result, after each shower, some water remained in the bathroom until it evaporated. My wife dropped her small towel once on the floor and it landed in the pond.I personally wanted to draw attention to the 10% VAT fees stated on each bill. Why not add it directly to the bill instead of charging it like in the US at the very last moment during payment? Although it is mentioned on the menu, it could be confusing as it is not related to the service charge. In addition, we never saw it anywhere else.

Great location - very quiet and right on the beach. The staff and the food were excellent.

The rooms, whilst clean, are not particularly comfortable

In a quite area but still in walking distance to grab something to eat. The staff were extremely polite and did everything they could to make out stay comfortable. Our villa was super nice.

the cleaning around the pool area in our villa could have been cleaned better but nothing much that we didn’t like about our stay.

Fantastic small hotel in a beautiful beach with the best staff you can imagine, nice pool, great food and excellent room.

The property is a beach facing property, in maenam, people who prefer offbeat and quiet places to stay, this is the place for you. food taste was good from their in house restaurant but the portions are bit small. But thats not a big deal, the vibe of this place will makeup for it.

I loved everything! The location was convenient and very quiet. We wanted a not too busy beach but with a few different restaurants to choose from. It was better than we expected! The room was amazing and having room 3 we got both garden and sea view! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, the beach was lovely and quiet and the sun beds were plentiful! The restaurant was really good- amazing food. (Special mention to the pad kra pao and also the Caesar salad!) The staff were amazing. I felt like a VIP guest. They were so thoughtful and kind and went over and above my expectations. I cannot wait to come back!

Everything was wonderful from Pool Villa with a great private pool to a fabulous breakfast, extremely friendly staff, beautiful beach, enough sunbeds - no need to rush in the morning to grab one. Towel racks and plenty of hooks everywhere. The location was a bit off the beaten track which was great. We can only recommend this place.

Water in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles would be a great idea.

Great little bungalows right next to the beach - Maenam beach is lovely, with several nice bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were really friendly, they arranged a moped for us too and it’s a good base to venture out from. Great value for money.

Beachfront location.

I would say that the pictures of the villas are a little nicer than the actual villas themselves. Would be nice to have some cushions on the Sun loungers by the private pool as per the photos.

Delicious breakfast. Located on the beach with pool overlooking the ocean. Good location near shops and eateries. Friendly and helpful staff.

We did offer in the review on leaving to suggest a broom on the balcony for sweeping the sand as there is no path from the pool area to the room it's hard to not leave sand everywhere as lovely as it's to stay on the beach,also perhaps in future a hand rail on stairs leading to the pool area as it's really hard going up in the wet.maybe change some power points to include USB ports .but loved our stay overall

The hotel delivers what it promises - a wonderful “cozy” place to be at Koh Samui. A small, fine hotel with absolutely friendly and attentive staff, a wonderfully quiet beach and excellent food. We couldn't have found a better place for us!
