Beach was amazing. No airport noise. Our room pool. The cabana at our pool. Comfy bed. Night snacks waiting for us when we returned to our room at night. Very friendly. No bugs. Amazing breakfast and spa!

This hotel was amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly. The Spa was also awesome but definitely a bit pricey.

Wonderful stay!The hotel had outstanding service and a perfect location right by a beautiful beach. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. A relaxing, high-quality experience—we would definitely come back❤️??

The beach is phenomenal, especially for kids. Beach set up staff were incredible. Lovely big rooms, super comfortable.

We booked a one bedroom villa with pool access. The villa was very spacious, exceptionally clean, and with stylish interiors. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities, and the pool could be accessed both from the bathroom, as well as from the bedroom, via the terrace. The entire villa looks stunning, much greater that in the pictures. The choices offered for breakfast are amazing, considering all kinds of dietary requests. Make sure to download the hotel app upon arrival and watch out the programs offered. Yoga classes on the spot (which don't get much publicity unfortunately), are fantastic and are definitely worth a try! The beach is rather crowded, but various water sports activities are available.

The only thing I might mention is that there's no mosquito net on the terrace door.

Really loved this hotel. Wish we'd stayed longer. Staff were so attentive. The grounds were gorgeous. Room style was lovely and the large pool and beach area was great.We had a family room with private pool, which was large and comfortable. It was a good space with two young children.Breakfast was excellent. Location is superb.Would return.

Two minor points really.The room was dark - they could do with rethinking the curtains / lighting to brighten it up.The room wasn't deep cleaned before we arrived. Still had some hair and dust in the corners etc, but due to the dark wood and low light I can see why it would be easy to miss little bits.

very nice hotel, in the middle / from the balcony was a garden in a jungle style. decent breakfast buffet but in i would prefer more optonis like cold meat, cheese (was 2-3 options) or salmon in a 5 star hotel. otherwise the buffet was nice with different bread, warm dishes egg station and live cooking if you wanted some heavier breakfastthe room was fantastic with the pool, just be aware, even if it called villas, its "only" rooms (big ones but not own houses). i would not recommend (we did not luckily) take the more expensive ones with pool view, as everybody could see you. rather save some bucks here.the spa was very nice, treatment as well, little bit more expensive as in the massage shops outside, but nice area.

Our stay at Muang Samui was incredible! The room was large, beautiful, with a lovely terrace and sitting area. It was actually half a floor of a three-storey villa, but the way the complex is built and partitioned made it feel extremely private and cozy (you could barely hear or see the neighbours). The complex has an impressive architecture, combining the traditional with the modern. They have a canal running in the middle of the two rows of villas, and pathways on each side of the rows in order to reach the beach. The hotel has its own beach, and it was easy finding sunbeds every day, as the staff was kind and accommodating and did their best to bring additional sunbeds and umbrellas when they were needed. There's also shade from the trees which are on the beach, which was great.They organized an amazing New Year's Eve dinner on the beach, with a buffet, entertainment (Thai dancing, boxing, fire show), and a prize raffle. There were fireworks as well, on the entire beach, which made the experience quite amazing.All the staff was nice, kind and did their best to make our stay as lovely as possible. The prices for the products at the beach bar were also quite reasonable. Outside the complex, you can find Thai restaurants, a very good Chinese one (Nanyuan Noodles) as well as a good cafe (Sol). The area is quieter than the busier and more touristy Fisherman Village and Chaweng, which we briefly visited only to confirm that we prefer Choeng Mon area, where Muang Samui is located. To sum up, Muang Samui ensured a lovely experience for us, during a 7-night stay including NYE. I would definitely recommend this hotel and its amazing staff.

Amazing Thai style villas with wooden interior. With a wow effect from the very first moment. Lots of nature on the facilities. Cave spa looks special and luxurious. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Family friendly resort right on the beach. Close to Chaweng & not as crowded

Loved the wonderful pool area that led down to the beach. There was always space to sit and it didn’t feel crowded. The grounds were wellmaintained and peaceful. Good location by amenities and 15 mins to chaweng or fisherman’s village. Also loved the yoga class provided at the hotel.

The floor in the bedroom was extremely slippery which felt hazardous at times, and especially slippy with socks on. You have to walk really carefully to avoid slipping. Breakfast is good but could be improved - it is quite dark in the room and food didn’t seem to be replenished at the buffet in the last half hour or so of breakfast service.

Everything is amazing at this hotel. It is small enough yet big enough - just perfect. Our room (two separate rooms) was on the third floor with our own pool which was much bigger and deeper than we thought it would be - we loved it and spent so much time here. The main pool is also super - waterfall, ledges, enough loungers and get a great view of the beach as well. The beach is simply beautiful - shallow water which goes out a long way, loungers and staff always walking around to help with drinks orders. Breakfast and dinner and beach BBQ all fantastically delicious and the staff are just the BEST! LOVED this hotel and would recommend to all.

Loved the staff who showed so much care to us. Nothing was too much for them. They went out of their way to help and advise us. Breakfast was the best part of the day. Being vegan - chef catered to our needs ??

The attention to detail from staff was above and beyond. Special mention to Aimee our client relationship manager, she was just amazing! The staff on the beach worked so hard to keep customers happy and Ko was always ready to assist with our every need. The location is brilliant as walking distance to amazing restaurants and also not too far away from external activities and the fisherman’s village. Breakfast was wonderful with a large selection of local dishes and exotic fruit. Our room was amazing with a private pool which was handy in the hot weather. We absolutely loved our stay!

There was not much to keep the teenagers occupied.

Excellent service! Staff is wonderful. They do everything to make you feel welcome. Rooms are huge and private pool is excellent. We had a great stay and would recommend this place. It’s really beautiful decorated as well.

Beautiful room and resort. The beach is great. The best private pool from all hotels we have been to in Koh Samui. The room is very large.

I didn’t like the breakfast. Not the best location in Koh samui. The street outside is not very nice.

Very dated hotel , definitely not 5 star hotel ( maybe 3+ ) ! For this value you can get way better hotel for sure , same price was Melia ( next door hotel ) we stayed there last year and I would say this is 5 star place not muang for sure !
