Location, service, quality, food. Simply amazing . We will go again. The assistant manager “M”, bartender “Smile” , Receptionist Pim and Preem was amazing. Happy hour cocktails are to die for. Quite hideaway

There is nothing I didn’t like.

Restaurant has nice view on the ocean. There is a nice pool with day beds. The overall resort is clean. It was low season, so very quiet.

Breakfast buffet was basic, not many quality fresh products. Restaurant manager is a bit too eager. I had a rat in my room. Staff came to help and offered room upgrade during the night. Only stayed one night.

Beautifully designed and maintained gardens, lush and well cared for. This property is simply lovely, from the covered pool beds to the 3 deep pools. The staff are outstanding, very kind and attentive.

The facilities are nice, the beach is beautiful and the location is great for people seeking a peaceful quiet stay.

The staff has not always been very welcoming nor seemed to be willing to assist us at times. Nevertheless, two staff, Smile at the Bar-Restaurant and Ink at the reception, were great during the exchanges we had with them and helped to improve our overall experience.

Very beautiful hotel, nice people and always very kind, the beach is beautiful too.

The room’s toilet had problems and one day i found water everywhere. They cleaned the rooms with doors open and in summer there are so many insects and lizards ecc that enter the room.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The highlight for me was definitely the beach area—it was absolutely stunning, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun. While the hotel itself isn’t brand new, it’s still well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall I had a great experience.

The ocean view, beautiful and comfortable rooms. Loved the private pool

It's just a tad bit far from all the tourist attractions but with Grab available it wasn't a great inconvenience

    9KovacsPosted on: 5-3-2025

The hotel is very clean, and the gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The reception staff are kind and welcoming. The rooms are elegant with thoughtful arrangements, and the large glass walls make the space feel open and luxurious. Breakfast is tasty and offers a good variety. We especially liked that the villas are separated, giving a private and comfortable vibe.

While the villa swimming pool is great, it feels exclusive to the pool-access villas, which can be disappointing for other guests. The jacuzzi area at the main pool works poorly and has no stairs, requiring guests to jump in — not convenient, especially for older visitors. The beach becomes unusable during low tide, limiting seaside enjoyment. Prices at the hotel are generally high, and although there’s a happy hour for cocktails from 5–7 p.m., the cocktail quality is only average.Additionally, the hotel is a bit isolated and far from everything; if you stay here, there are few options nearby to explore other places or restaurants.

    Bad

They charged me double for breakfast/restaurant bills on the day of checking out (cause of internet issues) and never replied back and didn’t reimburse me extra money they took!! Be careful!!!

There were three lovely pools so it never felt like anyone was too busy at any point. The staff were perfect and quick to help with any enquiries.

Though the European options at breakfast weren’t the best, we had dinner at the restaurant on our last evening which was some of the best food we’d had during our stay on Koh Samui.

Breakfast was good. It has enough variety & also restaurant beside sea beach .

My booking room was deluxe room /twin room & select twin room because I stay with my friend. I contact hotel by booking to guarantee give us what we preferred for bed reference & the hotel replay ok . Unfortunately when we arrive to hotel to do check in they inform us no have twin room . They advise us to stay in available room for one or two night till provide the twin room. We do check in by Mis Yu Ku ,she try to help us & she treat us with kind but her assistant manager was so angry & upset for not expecting hotel current room availability .At the end no other option , just except king bed for one night & for 3 remaining nights they move us to twin bed room. Beds was moving on surface of room & area of shower not suitable to have shower .All water go throughout the bath . Moreover sink was blocked. Also bath has bad smile .

The incredible ocean and pool views, intimate/romantic setting but also a place to fully relax with great Buffett breakfast and best customer service, nothing was too much of task for front office staff

Perhaps the location but plenty of taxi-ride share options

The location is great for relaxation and the treated by the junior staff was amazing. Also to appreciate the fact that I meet one of the senior manager from my country and his efforts to recognize our presence and how he interacted with other guests.

Treatment by the manager who was on duty this morning of 02/04/25. She would meet and great white guests half way through the breakfast hall and show them where they can sit for breakfast. We had to find a table and not once she came to us to offer something or ask but she would ask from a table before us and jump us to another table and ask if they want something. We're the only black couple there and we really felt like we're not wanted there. I could tell that she was very much aware of that by the way she kept looking at us. Yo be treated like an outsider by other guests it's fine but by the staff at management level is something else.

Well maintained grounds and swimming pools. Staff very nice, with some having low level English, but acceptable. The location is amazing if you are looking for a relaxed beach. No loud music, the sound you can hear more are the waves crashing on the sand. Rooms were OK and clean. One of the rooms had the shower broken, we complained, but was not fixed during the stay. Breakfast is good, but not great. Snacks for free. Restaurant prices are high, but the island is too expensive overall comparing to other places in Thailand.

The location was great and we really enjoyed the privacy. The breakfast was good.

The TV didn't work. It took 3 days to get it fixed. We had informed the reception of the problem after checking in and numerous times afterwards. We were told the problem was going to take a few days to fix. We were not offered any solutions to this problem. We left after 3 days so we only had the tv for the last morning. This was not acceptable as it was raining and we spent a good bit of our time in the villa. Also we ordered food to our villa which arrived no problem. When finished we left the tray outside the villa for collection. It wasn't collected for 2 days. Some of the staff were excellent however some of the staff seemed to be in need of better training for the service industry.

We really liked our stay at The Passage. A family of 3 - two adults and 1 child. Although we arrived early the staff did everything they could to accommodate us earlier than the check-in time. The Villa's were great with a lot of space a good bathroom and air conditioning, which is a life saver with the heat. I really liked the pool right by the Villa. With it being a large pool you could either swim a few laps of play with the children as it's not too deep. The beachside pool was also great with the bar and restaurant right next to it, so if you needed to get any refreshments - you could. The beachside pool also had a decent number of sunbeds to enjoy the poolside and get a great tan! The Passage has access to their own beachfront and the first few days we caught high tide with loads of water. If you swim out a little further you could also snorkel and find different kinds of fish. Some of the days it was low tide, which meant that you could walk down to Nathon town by the beach. There are a lot of restaurants and cafe's down that road so you could find authentic Thai food, Italian restaurants and cocktail bars! The Hotel offered a huge amount of amenities - gym, massages, transport, rent of scooters etc. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff was always super friendly on some nights there were BBQ nights where you could get a buffet of different meats with live music. We really enjoyed our stay there!
