The Kissing Mountains

Recently I checked in with family for a 3 days vacation at Kissing Mountains, Vagamon:I had a truly memorable stay at The Kissing Mountains, Vagamon. The view from the room was absolutely stunning—calm, serene, and simply breathtaking. The resort was very clean and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the hospitality from chechi and the two brothers was heartwarming—they were so down-to-earth and always ready to help. A special highlight was the tea at any time, which made us feel at home.The only minor suggestion would be to have a slightly wider menu for vegetarians. Apart from that, everything was perfect—definitely worth the money, and a stay here will leave you with beautiful memories to cherish.They arrange local site seeing jeep for on rode / off road site seeing and the driver Murugan was a such a caring person and friendly, best trained person to deal with harsh rainy weather and mist covered roads.

View from balcony was awesome with misty mountains. We visited in July and it was foggy and raining throughout the day. However we could experience the mist and rain from balcony. Thoroughly enjoyed the whether.

We had a great time at the kissing mountains. Even though we got there much later than expected at 11.20pm staff was super kind and set up a campfire for us. Staff were very polite and helpful the whole time.The food was also really good, props to the chef. We especially loved the chicken 65 and barbeque. Location was top notch too.

Nice location to stay at the top of the hill view.We can see and experience vagamon climate changes and mist from this place.Friendly staff and take care of guests well.

Amazingly beautiful view from the balcony. The room is clean. Good food. But the main value of this place is the people, manager and his team! We were met and dropped to the hotel and back to the bus station the next day.Despite on the late check-in they cooked delicious dinner for us. They made our stay unforgettable.Definitely want to come back.

Broken roads to the location..

Excellent property which is neatly managed. People are so caring . They have arranged Jeep safari on our request which is an value for money activity and it’s not to be missed. Compared to other Jeep safari organized separately, going through them is an good decision as these people will not rush .otherwise it’s a strict 3 hr package but we spent more than 5 hours going through them. Food is excellent and the views from the room is exceptional.

The location is too good to digest. The viewes are breathtaking awesome. So peaceful and rejuvenating.Staffs were very friendly and home cooked food is also very good.All the basic amenities are taken care by the hosts.

A few small suggestions: it would be great to have some extra complimentary items like coffee powder, sugar, and a kettle in the rooms. Also, we could have enjoyed the barbecue sessions and bonfire if they were lower price, which would make it even better

Property is at a good location. Staff is good with sufficient parking and scenic view ..

When the room was opened had a bad odour which was uncomfortable .. had to leave the room open for a few hours to settle down .

The home stay was pleasant with lovely staff employed,, they were friendly with all smiles.. especially home cooked food was good

Little cleaner bed covers and bed sheets would have helped.. it was not dirty but itching was there after few minutes.. drinking water could have been provided in the room

Can the room be better clean. Have experienced some odour from the wooden racks. Except this everything was good

Pleasant stay with excellent view points as shown in picture. Room was decent and neat with basic amenities. Food was very tasty. Staffs were very kind and helpful.

No complimentary Breakfast. 120rs per person for breakfast seems pricy with less varieties( only idli and puttu). Otherwise food was tasty and hygienic.

Could be painted inside out well. Pictures in the ad didnot match I guess. I thought I was staying near a tea plantation.

A quiet and calm resort inside the forest, surrounded by mountains!

I didn't take breakfast, dinner for the night is very good and tasty and the room having average facilities, location of the stay is with nice mountain view.

Be careful while driving from the main road.The roads are in damaged condition
