    Pros +

    • Nice location, helpful staff, nice room, excellent shower
    • It is a lovely location in a quiet bay with an excellent sandy beach and safe swimming, about a 15-20-minute drive from Marmaris's old town. Well away from the noisy parts of Marmaris. The room was just yards from the beach, and the restaurant area overlooked the beach and bay. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, although it needed greater variety. We ate dinner in the hotel for three nights, and it was good. On other nights, we drove into town, where several excellent restaurants were on the harbour below the old town. The room was cleaned well daily, although strangely, they always seemed short of toilet rolls. I had to ask twice. Car parking is just about adequate. It is a private beach for the hotel, although they allow others to use it. It was never crowded. It is next to a marina, but little activity to disturb.
    • Poor

    Cons -

    • Continual loud banal music from morning till bedtime blaring out of multiple speakers on the beachfront, swimming pool, restaurant and bar areas. You could not escape it and we could not get the speaker turned off where we were sitting. You cannot hear nature and you are in a nature reserve! Totally unnecessary if people want music nearly everyone has their own headphones!
    • The hotel is situated in a wooded National Park, which means there are many flies and mosquitos. We got bitten quite a lot. They offer insect repellent spray and burn Turkish coffee on the table, which is reasonably effective. I would recommend bringing a mosquito killer for the room, although they really should install it. They should also install an insect killer in the restaurant area for a hotel at this price. There was no chair inside the room and only one size of pillow. You would expect a kettle at this standard of hotel. The top sheet was far too small for the bed. The aircon was effective, although not very modern. Even in the lowest setting, it was a bit cold in the middle of the night.
    • Just ask if dinner available before booking and also ask if any wedding, etc will be present during your stay. Otherwise your vacation will be disaster as mine. You can't even sleep in this hotel.

Very nice, quiet hotel with a little private beach.Breakfast was delecious!

I liked the view from the beach, I didn't mind the distance from the center because I wanted to opt for a less polluted beach. The internet worked well our whole stay. Our rooms were clean, the mattress was ok.

The beach was littered with plastic and garbage. The menu wasn't really for International clientele. Our eggs had shells in them for 3 consecutive days. I was really hoping for at least a 4* experience and I'm sad to day, we didn't get that. Hospitality was sub par and that may be because very few employees actually spoke English so it was difficult to communicate. Our concerns.

Super friendly staff who made us feel "part of the family". Gorgeous private beach, right in front of a very reasonably priced restaurant and cozy bar. It was wonderful sitting by the brazier on the beach after dinner, just watching the waves lapping on the shore.

Everything. The staff were all very attentive and absolutely lovely. Lovely trees and beach. Nice restaurant and good breakfast. Just everything about this property and stay we loved

It is a Turkish thing, not peculiar to this hotel, but we are not very keen on their sleeping sheet things. We like a duvet more. But there is nothing not to like about Joya

    the private beach was unbeatable.

they seemed short staffed for cleaning. we had to call the reception every time for housekeeping. the food quality on premises were average.

Excellent location, view and beach. Too bad the owners, management and employees are very confused.

Employees should get to know the property better. I had a Hotel Key with the name of the Hotel on it and the Beach/Pool guy said I did not belong here and it was not valid to get a towel even though I stayed there 5 nights. Very upsetting. Things like this occurred every day and the management blames it on language problems but that is not true since they understand "towel", "black coffee" and "check/bill" all of which there was mass confusion over.

The location is lovely. The beach and pool were enjoyable. A short ride to town.

My husband has mobility issues. I had ordered a deluxe sea view room. These rooms are upstairs without an elevator. We were placed in an extremely small room, limited view on the first floor. The room had no chairs, table, or luggage rack. You needed to walk around the bed to use the bathroom or exit the room. The space between the foot of the bed and wall was approximately 12- 14 inches. However, there was a shelf jutting out from the wall approximately 4-5 inches. How is a handicapped person suppose to walk around in this room? I have black and blue marks on both legs from walking around the bed. The worst part is I was charged for the deluxe room. No adjustment was made to the price. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in Istanbul for less money!!In addition, in order to lock the only door in or out of the room from the inside you needed the key. When you take the key out of the holder all electricity in the room shuts off. It was a disaster.

The beach and location was absolutely beautiful and would be the main reason for returning. It was private and away from the crowds. A short and relatively inexpensive taxi ride into Marmaris to eat in the evenings if you wanted to.

The rooms are small...very small. the hotel was not designed with Britishh in mind. the British have an issue with inside space probably as we spend so much time indoors. We were in a junior suite for 4 people. We asked for another bed as our children (boy and girl are 12 and 15), The sofa bed is not big enough for them to share and nor should they. Once the other camp bed went in there was no room to move or even store 4 cases. The room was not cleaned as we would have liked and found our feet were dirty as a result. It was quite expensive but honestly, if large crowds of tourists are not your thing this hotel is a piece of heaven.

we were at the beginning of the season. the hotel was quite. we were enjoying swim at the morning in a calm water and silence. the breakfast is perfect, staff are very helpful and friendly.

An amazing traditional breakfast with fresh ingredients and different varieties to choose from. Truly great service! Room quite, clean and very well organized with a great bathroom. Once again, great service starting with the reception desk, restaurant and finally housekeeping.

What’s not to like? Beautiful spot, very comfortable facilities down to small details like nice shower gel and shampoo, towel robes, great breakfast, restaurant has some great food (chocolate soufflé was to die for!). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is set on a glorious private white sand beach.

Wifi is a bit dodgy in places.
