Marmaris Alkan Hotel

The location of the hotel was nice and central and the room was spacious and clean. There was more than enough space for our bags and the aircon was also very good.

The hotel was cluttered with rules printed out on A4 pages and just put up everywhere which looks taky and comes across as if you are in a backpackers hotel, very unprofessional. This hotel is also associated with the "Jet2Holidays" which attracts a very peculiar crowed of guests. Breakfast was very average compared to the other hotels we stayed at during our road trip through Turkey. The hotel is also located in the main road so it gets very busy and music goes on until very late. We also had no water pressure in the shower when our neighbors were using their bathroom.

The staff were incredibly friendly, particularly the gentleman who ran the bar, the lady at the breakfast and our lovely room cleaner who left everything exceptionally clean and tidy. We were very impressed by the amazingly friendly service and the hotel's cleanliness.

Breakfast was only just warm so I ate outside and paid for it . Water in shower not warm most days and sometimes goes to a trickle. No kettle in the room

Perfect location. 2 minute walk from beach and central to shops

Very hard mattress, was giving room in 5th floor which kept losing WiFi but swapped room with family member and WiFi was great on 3rd floor .

Good, average hotel for this money, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 20-30 minutes to the Marina, the room was clean and spacious

breakfast was enough choice, i asked for more fried eggs , and it took only a few minutes for the cook to bring them , nothing seemed to be a problem

Hotel and rooms were very clean, shower was amazing and aircon was fantastic. Great value for money

All loungers by the pool “taken” - had towels placed on them by 8am.If only all hotels could remove them if not used for 30 minutes

The location is great, quite close to the main street and several supermarkets. The room was spacious. The beds were quite firm, which is alright for me. The view from the balcony was amazing.

The AC is quite old and it didn’t work as well. The hotel itself was old as well. Even though it was the cheapest in the area, it was quite expensive. (Peak of the season, I understand)

Great location, great air con, nice enough shower

When in my bathroom could hear everything people in the bathroom next to me were doing due to strange style of roofing - never experienced this but rather strange. Intrusive privacy for sure

The hotel needs a little upgrading, apart from that great location, staff pleasant and helpful.

The location was very good for me and there are plenty of shops etc right on your doorstep.

I thought their should be a changing room for those who have late night flights instead of the WC by the pool. A kettle in the room would be nice .
