Myconian Sunrise Relais & Chateaux Hotel

I have been staying in this hotel for at least 20 years and it is amazing what Myconian has done to it !

Beach still beautiful but not as natural as before.

Caution : the hotel is far from Mykonos city center at the opposite of what's mentioned on Booking! There is nothing around, no supermarket, nothing.. You need to have a car or to take a taxi (very expensive, around 50 euros per trip) or to walk to Elia Beach to take the bus to reach Mykonos.Also, the hotel seems to have two ''categories'' of rooms, those who have been renovated and the old ones. Make sure before confirming to have rooms similar to the those shown in the pictures online (booking or other sites)No water bottles offered in rooms a part the first day!! While the rate is quite expensive!

The staff were very friendly and very helpful, we could ask them anything and they would come up with solutions at the shortest time. When Mike and I asked for an extension, the ladies immediatetly went to work and came up with a practical solution, that suited all parties.

We liked everythingThe parking of visitors along the road is dangerous for pedestrians, but people in general parked well, and the open grounds spaces should temporarily be used to accomodate this extra parking, especially on weekends.The breakfasts should have a little bit better variety, by choosing food slightly different.The local resturant shiuld make a larger variety of food as well, sometimes one wants to stay and not eat outl

The staff made everything perfect. The beach is wonderful and the sun beds are free! Breakfast is delicious, and also the keep the rooms clean daily. I loved the stay!

Fantastic location for direct access to the beach. We loved the pool bar/restaurant and felt so welcome when we arrived late and on our second night drinking cocktails at the bar.

We loved walking out to the beautiful beach. The restaurant staff were all friendly and gave great recommendations. The hotel was also very clean.

You are not close to the city and shopping but beach made up for that.

Staff were amazing and customer service was great attention to details from the reception to housekeeping to breakfast waiter to the sunbed and beach staff thank you all for making this a great family vacation

Excellent staff and service! Everybody was super welcoming and smiling. You would never see anyone with bad behavior. Especially guys working in the restaurant and on the beach - very friendly , modest! ?Quite nice breakfast, nice private beach, swimming pool - all you need to relax fully.

Our room was a bit small for 3 people but this is not the hotel’s issue :))

There are no black out curtains so the sun is in your room very early

An absolutely beautiful hotel right next to a stunning beach. Everything about our stay was fantastic, staff were very friendly, approachable and always available for any help needed. Room was very cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Food and drink was very nice! The breakfast options were very varied which was great, with an incredible Greek yoghurt ?. There were a few cats around which being cat lovers we loved! But don't worry if you don't , they keep to themselves, unless you approach them ?. There's no bus access from the hotel, you have to walk over a hilly rocky area to elia bus stop, but it only takes ten minutes to get there and lots of people walk back and forth over the hill and it only costs €2.50 to get to Mykonos centre. They do have a salt water pool, like most places nowadays. But we spent most days swimming in the beautiful sea that's on your doorstep ?.

Just beautiful tranquil and excellent staff. Alcohol a little expensive but that’s my only issue. Will definitely return

The beach front with umbrella and beds included in the hotel price. Unbeatable honestly.Breakfast was great.They let us also for late check out, very welcoming.Wifi powerful everywhere even in the beach.At the beach they offer also experiences like jetskis, flying boards, etc.Wonderful honestly.

The room are not that big, location is a bit far from city center and u need to drive through small roads...could be dangerous at night.As the whole island of mykonos, prices of the restaurants are really prohibitive.

It was located nicely on the beach. But once you're there food is limited to 2 places, this hotel or the restaurant next to it.. The next door restaurant was waaaay better.

The rooms were very small.. We had 3 beds but it felt like we were sleeping together. There was also no bathroom privacy, the shower is in the bedroom. That's may be a norm for Greece but in America we afford more privacy.

The location is wonderful. Our room was very nice and comfortable and clean. The view and access to the beach is stellar. Could lounge at pool and walk over and get in the sea. There are loungers in the beach too. Very peaceful.

We were very pleased with the staff's approach, especially Maria at the reception and the waiter at the restaurant. All compliments for the excellent service and warmth.

The property has no amenities for children—absolutely nothing. There’s no pool for kids, no playground, no entertainers, no children's menu… It’s far too boring for children, especially given its distance from the city.What bothered us the most was the isolation of the hotel. Their transportation costs €50 for a one-way trip (5 kilometers), so a round trip to the city will set you back €100. To reach public transportation, you have to trek over hills, rocks, and across three beaches to get to the bus. There’s no proper path, no suitable conditions... I've never seen anything like it, and we were really bored in both the hotel and this area.I believe the hotel should at least provide a complimentary shuttle service to the city, stores, etc., once a day for its guests.

Proximity to a great beach. Attentive staff. Great room size.

We had a pool suite which was lovely but there were two rooms above us on the 1st floor whose balcony looked directly into our pool area meaning it had no privacy whatsoever.

Everything, view, breakfast, decoration, staff, rooms quiet and big, shower is perfect, pool is salty but you get used to it and it becomes super fun, beach almost inside the hotel is amazing… not total sand, with some small stones but super good

The property is perfect. Just the access to it is a bit trick because you need to go down a narrow road … which looks like a roller coaster… if you are drivimg be very careful

Property and location were amazing. All of the staff without exception were phenomenal, always professional, friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and we tried a number of local dishes, all of which we absolutely loved! The beach - including the setup of the sun decks and the service - was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Sadly the bed was too soft and sloped inwards.

The location is a bit far from the downtown and transportation is by taxi or car, which are a bit expensive. If you want to just stay in the hotel, enjoy the beach and food there, just to chill... then it's a best place
