- The hotel was very modern and the rooms were nice. We had the private pool however due to time of year was too cold to go in but still enjoyed the view. There was not a central pool or area to lay out. It was about a 20 minute walk to town at the bottom of hill and 45 into Mykonos itself. Very doable, but you are walking on the road as no sidewalks but felt safe. We enjoyed it. Going down was ok but going up was some effort. There was afew restaurants very close to property as well as the one in hotel. While the breakfast menu was limited in options it was excellent. Very good and enjoyable. Was not a buffet it was an order. Staff was very attentive. So if you want to be in the heart of everything this is not for you , but if you want a lovely new/modern property that is off the beaten and track and you don’t mind a healthy walk ( taxi always an option however) I would recommend. We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay !
- The best view you can ask for! The room was super clean, king size bed very comfortable, convenient equipment in the gym, good breakfast food! Fantastic family owned restaurant just one minute walk from hotel. Staff super welcoming and friendly. Planning to come back here again!
- Everything, from location being close to the sea, the staff and the place. Appreciate the hard working, Manus at breakfast.
Cons -
- Lots of stairs, depending on room location, was definitely not a conventional hotel layout… lots of ups and downs. We did not mind it in fact enjoyed it being different and unique.
- I didn't like the last order at restaurant is 7pm.
- Breakfast is served in a beautifully decorated restaurant with an intimate ambiance, offering lovely views of the pool and sea, which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and a few of our requests were not fulfilled. Additionally, we were occasionally disturbed by a sewage smell emanating from the bathroom.

So easy to get to - an 8 minute bus ride from old port, although quite a few stairs and a big hill if you’re on foot from there. Beautiful location, great view, clean and comfortable.
We absolutely adored this boutique hotel, perfectly situated near all the attractions we wanted to explore in Mykonos. With our rental car, every destination we aimed for was just a 15-minute drive away. The staff was incredible, especially Georgia, who greeted us with a warm smile, offered fantastic recommendations, and genuinely cared for us. We truly appreciated her!

I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful hotel, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it! From the moment I entered the room, I felt instantly welcomed. Everything was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the serene atmosphere ensured a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive service. Every request was promptly met, and it was clear that the well-being of guests is a top priority here. The thoughtful touches, such as the well-stocked amenities and the lovely view from the window, made my stay perfect.I look forward to returning – it truly felt like a home away from home!
nothing to complain about
Very clean and well appointed room. The sea view was amazing from the outside private pool
Very cute boutique hotel in Mykonos. 15min driving from the old port city. Staff is very helpful, breakfast is very nice. Loved the gym !
We booked the Deluxe Double Room and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was so much bigger than expected, extremely clean & spacious with its own pool area and outdoor seating nook and lounge. This hotel is simply stunning with the most beautiful views from both the reception area and restaurant. The view at breakfast blew my mind! Staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help you. Thank you for having us ?? highly recommend Bard De Sol
It is situated on the far west side of the island which can become expensive when taking daily transfers to the hot spots but this didn’t bother us.
We loved our room and enjoyed spending time in the room and by the pool. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great! It is a bit out of town but there is a bus about a 5-10 min walk away that goes directly into town.
We thought there was a shared pool but it is more for looks than use as it is in the restaurant and no where to sit beside it.
We had such a lovely stay, the hotel is beautiful and a 5 minute walk from the beach. What made our stay truly special was the hotel’s staff. We were greeted by Stella who was so kind and bubbly and instantly made us feel at home. We loved the hotel breakfast, the gym, sauna and stunning views! 10/10 would recommend.
The room was amazing, the hygiene and the smell of fresh all over the place. The breakfast by the pool is a plus and the view simply gorgeus. And finally the staff is superlative.
Leaving!!
Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. Reception staff were exceptional and went above and beyond!
The room wasn’t sound proof so was woke up in the early hours of the morning multiple times by next door arriving back. The hotel is up a very steep hill from the beach so you need to be fit to walk it. Taxis are very expensive but there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which was ideal to get to the old town. The main pool has no sun loungers but luckily we were given beanbags for our room!
It was a great experience, with excellent staff!
The only downfall was the rooms were not soundproof. We had very loud neighbors and could hear their entire conversations. It disrupted our sleep quite a few times.
Everything. This was my favourite place we stayed all holidays. The rooms were so beautiful. The view was amazing. The chef was incredible and the staff went above and beyond. Can't wait to come back.
There was nothing I didn't like about this place.
The staff were exceptional thank you to Constantina, Stella, Flosis, Alexandria, Coi and Eva for making our stay an amazing experience the hospitality the amazing food the service. Sorry about the spelling of your names! You were all wonderful and so accommodating with my daughter in the wheelchair it was such a beautiful experience. Also Vasilis for picking up my daughter and carrying her in and out of the vans.
Zero we thought it was perfect!
the experience at Bard De Sol was great - excellent staff, brand new & stylish hotel and great breakfast - everything you need for wonderful holidays.
Everything was great! highly recommend.
Very clean, love the white aesthetic, the sea view is amazing, very friendly and helpful staff
Nothing, a bit far from the town centre
Everything is brand new. View from our room was amazing. Staff were mostly responsive to our requests and gave a nice introduction before check-in.
We had bugs in our bed and so woke up with new itchy bites every morning. These went away after we left to our new hotel. Didn’t actually see the culprits until our last evening. We shared our concerns with staff including photos of the bugs but have yet to receive a response till this day. If you experience the same make sure to report it early as you may not see them until the last night like us! But in any case they might not do anything about it!!Definitely killed the “luxury experience” but absent this it was a very nice hotel. Location is a little awkward if you don’t have a car (not safe to walk into town). Taxis are about 20 euro to town one way which is relatively cheap compared to other islands.
Nice staff, 10/10 breakfast, lovely room, had what you needed
