Berrak Otel

Pros +

• The hotel is in a very central location and this of course has pros and cons. There were renovation works ongoing during my stay so of course the hotel wasn't at its best. The staff was professional and helpful, the concierge spoke perfect English. My room was very large, very elegant and well organized. The bathroom was extremely nice, the furniture elegant and sober.I left early so I could not try the breakfast, but the restaurant area looked nice and well organized.
• Overall, Berrak Otel did not meet basic expectations for comfort or value. I cannot recommend this property to anyone
• Very good bed and shower.

Cons -

• There was no parking and I had to park on the sidewalk in front of the hotel, though it looked like the area was normally used for that purpose, and the location looked very safe.
• Our stay at Berrak Otel was deeply disappointing and not worth the price.1.Overpriced: The listed price on Booking.com was $68.50, but the hotel’s reception displayed €50 for the same room type. Despite raising the issue with the manager, they refused to refund the difference, claiming the information was “outdated.”2.Poor Room Conditions: The room had an unbearable cigarette smell, and there were no options to choose between smoking or non-smoking rooms on the listing.3.Basic Amenities Missing: At this price point, there was only 1 0,5L complimentary bottled water and 1 full-sized towel provided.4.Maintenance Issues: The sink drain was clogged, and the room, along with the hotel itself, felt old, dusty, and neglected.
• The cost compared with other locations is quite high.
