Environment very quiet,calm.room very good.

Not too much food place.

Relax and comfy environment.. toilet was clean and simple nice breakfast.. good value for money

I booked this property due to lack of clear reviews, so i am writing in detailed so people can choose accordinglyProperty is good but not for families with children, its far from Desaru (25km). You can only travel by car or taxi. Even roads are neat and no traffic so you can reach within 30mins by carIts more like Motel.Breakfast will be delivered in Room in morningCar can park infront of roomRemote location, fence nearby room is not enough taller. So you may feel insecure even security is there but on main gate. You can see factory boilers puffing smoke within 1 km from resortIts more suitable for business travellers who are working in nearby factories.

Its hard get restaurants nearby. We had cyclists couple stayed overnight next to our room. I saw they struggled to get dinner.Property management can correct if any mismatch in judgment so others can book without hesitation

Bit hassle on breakfast time coz the dining hall not been utilized and been packed instead of taking breaking at the facility canteen

Room pricing and service was good. Food was nice...

More channels maybe. We didn't get any TV channels in the room. Remote was out of order..

Overall it is good. The room is clean and tidy with quiet surroundings. I stayed during the weekdays and it is quite cheap for a room with 2 queen beds. There are also many parking areas even in front of the room. The best part is there are breakfasts included which are sent in front of the door. However, the area in front of the rooms is quite dark at night but it is okay.

I really love the facilities such as games, karaoke room, meeting desk, guest lounge, gym and swimming pools. However, it is unfortunate that I was unable to experience the cafeteria and ball room during my stay.

Overprice of karaoke room rental. For me, RM60 for 1 hour is unacceptable with limited song choices. However, I am very contented with how spacious the room is.

The bedding since this is one of the few places which offered 2 queen beds in a room.

It was a disaster experience since my car has been damaged by the resort irresponsible staff. It happened when we are about to checking out. When we approached our car, I found stone chips and a lot of small stones on my car roof and front bonet. There was a staff who did grass cutting work and he has admitted that these small stones flying and hit my car that came resulted from his work cutting grass on construction sand in front of my car. He then quickly want to wipe out the evidence by using cotton rag which made me to shout stopping him as to avoid more scratch marks on my car. A police report was made after the management who promised to settle the damages did not approached or contacted me which they promised to do a day after the check out date. Till to date, there was no call received by me and an official claim for compensation is proceed with evidences of photos and videos taken.

I love everything about Desa Selatan Resort, but it is just the location is quite far from the beach. It is actually surrounded by the forest.

I just don't like it because it is far from the beach. Because I am staying at condo which have swimming pool facilities, so I might not repeat here. But if you are looking for a cheap room for your holiday, you should choose the Desa Selatan Resort. They have the swimming pool and the room is very nice, comfortable for your family and even the package is included with the breakfast. You will not get this price elsewhere.

Breakfast add on for rm25/head is quite expensive as the foods is not so much choice. (Nasi lemak, mee goreng, roti bakar, sosej potatoes and chicken fried + teh o sejuk, kopi o sejuk and orange) no hot water.. and for my room, the water channel is blocked, so when taking a shower the water stagnates and slows down. Overall with the price per night, i would say it is bearable

please do something with the pool deck / wooden flooring. Unsafe condition.

The location is at out of the nowhere, superbly deserted. Exactly what I wanted.Own transport is highly recommended.Clean and orderly property.The property is built using partitions/panels - not the usual bricks/cement building.

feel good with the amenities

I was bit disppointed of the meal, cant dine in for breakfast, cafe was closed..yes, staff was sending meal into the room, but i cant choice the menu and cant the atmosphere..

i really like the rooms, they were large and spacious. enough for 4 adults! the room was also quite clean although i guess it depends on what room you get. the breakfast was also somewhat enjoyable. will stay again if i come to pengerang.

wish the swimming pool is bigger, seems more like a kiddie pool. also, i guess the toilet gets so wet. it seems to have less people coming to stay so at night it can be very2 quiet. i think thats all. overall stay was pretty good.

Room was clean, easy access. The facilities inside the rooms also well function. The kids happy with the pool.

-The pool area need to maintenance due to many hole surrounding that dangerous for the kids.- Pool no roof/ umbrella. Very hot when parents accompany their kids at pool area.- Quite far to find foods / shop outside the hotel.

That we are able to park our cars right outside our rooms. The staff is willing to check us in despite us arriving at 1am. The place is new, with most amenities still in a good working condition. Good value.

There is not much to be done there, in the resort itself, located right beside power plants/ oil refineries, during Deepavali, the canteen is not open, where we are unable to eat buffet nor view the ammenities.

very comfortable and valuable for the price. Calm area and very nice for relax and chill. Very strong suggestion for whom travel from out side Pengerang to stay.
