Hotel Whistlelark Jeju

Location

I had requested an early checkin but was not able to accommodate. It would've been nice to see if there was a waiting list to be contacted once a room was ready as we had a tight itinerary to be in the area. Putting a key for lights, would be nice to know

The hotel is in a good location and the hotel has nice facilities.

Our room was a little dusty and quite worn/damaged in areas. Parking was difficult and we could never get a space in the hotel facilities and we had to ask for additional items that were not supplied in our room, which typically would have been.

A little old. “Ocean view” was not really ocean view. More of port view. A little pricey.

This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. I had recommended my friends to stay here since its near the airport and convenient to get around town. Walking distance to town area.

I had some issues with double booking and the property did not really solve my issue. In fact, they did not return my emails and I was charged for no-show when I was actually there for 3 nights. I wish they could have solved this issue. Now I would think twice staying there again.

Great location, walking distance into Jeju city for lots of shopping. Super friendly staff, comfortable room and beds.

I loved my stay here for 3 nights. My room had a balcony and a beautiful ocean view. Facility was clean with a mini fridge that includes a couple of bottled water. There were 2 washing machines and 2 dryers if needed. The bathroom actually had regular size towels, not just small hand towels like other hotels. Check in was super fast and staff were so friendly. Room size for me as a solo traveler was adequate. Location was great. I took Uber easily to different places I wanted to go to. There’s convenient stores nearby, a cafe, and a bunch of restaurants all within walking distance.

Well, the ocean view was not a full ocean view, but it still was interesting. The bathroom wall really shouldn't be glass, despite the screen.

The hotel is just a walking distance to Dongmun Market, Chilsungro street, Black Pork street, McDonald's, Martro and offers a very nice view of ocean as it is right out of Tapdong Plaza. This is also just a 5 minute walk to Ocean Suites Hotel for tour pickup so no need to rush. Emart is also near as you just have to walk along Tapdong seaside walk. It also has a Japanese style toilet which is a bonus. Very accessible to so many things as you just walk of the the hotel side exit door. There's 7-11 and CU convenience stores right around the hotel corners. TV has Youtube, Netflix, Disney and other cable channels.

Rooms have outside balconies but if you reserve a room on level 2 or 3 you do not get to see the ocean view which I did not check my booking completely. It would have been good to wake up to the view of the ocean in sight. So, it is better to book a room on a higher level. The pool area though was closed during autumn season but the view would have been spectacular if it was open.

My husband and I had a great time at this hotel. I liked the breakfast options as well as the hotel restaurant on-site. It’s close to other restaurants and convenience stores. It was an easy, well-lit walk to the market. Our room was quiet and comfortable. I liked the laundromat and the pool bar.

Very comfortable bed with soft sheets. The room was cleaned every day. Clean towels and fresh water in the refrigerator were then given, too. The cleaning staff was always friendly when we passed them. We had a good ocean view. Good location close to the city. There are some good restaurants, stores, and a market not too far from the hotel. Close to the airport so it's convenient to travel from and to there. (You can hear and see airplanes throughout the day and night).

The swimming pool area didn't look exactly like the pictures made it seem. It was very shallow, less fancy, and more of n kids pool. Only when you arrive do they tell you that the swimming pool has certain swimming hours(14:00-21:00). This made it very crowded, especially with children and their parents. So, not being able to swim early mornings or late nights without many people/children around was a letdown. We could hear people opening and closing room doors and talking in the hallway, so it's not very soundproof. Far from beaches, expect longer traveling times.

Really great location! Most tours pick up from the ocean Suites Hotel which is a 5 min walk from this! As well it’s only a 15 min walk from the night market!Great, spacious room and the staff were wonderfully helpful and speak great English.

The pool was often very busy and crowded, but that’s to be expected when the view is amazing.

We asked for ocean view, it was just perfect. A really spacious room, the balcony really nice to sit and have a nice time and view. Location for us was perfect, we ret a car to go further places but here is the bus stop close and also walk distance for a lot off places

The personnel at the reception desk was a bit unfriendly. The pool was not accessible by the guests too.

The hotel has free guest parking which was handy. It is not located too far away from the night life area (by foot) and a good distance to near by beach areas (driving). The room was spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooftop area was blocked off during spring.

Convenient location to go to Dongmun market, restaurants and meeting points for day tours. The room was comfortable and suitable for my needs.

Pillows were very uncomfortable. Acoustics were not great as I could hear guests in the room next door (detailed sounds like toilet flushing, opening the safe etc) and movements in the corridor. The self closing room doors also slammed shut so was startled awake a few times during my stay when other guests on the floor entered and exited their rooms.

Great location. Easy to get to from airport. Good sized room and bathroom. Nice to have a balcony. Very helpful staff who went above and beyond to help us travel to our next destination on Jeju island. Clean and tidy.
