Co-op City Hotel Seongsan

Situated near Seongsan Ilchulbong, the hotel offers plenty of nearby dining options, making it a convenient choice for anyone wanting to catch the sunrise at Seongsan Ilchulbong. This was our second stay, and we found breakfast satisfactory. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet.

The rooms are compact, and laundry facilities do not include a dryer.

Location was good near places of interest and eatries

The hotel is well furnished and offers a comfortable base in Seongsan. Its location is particularly advantageous, being one of the few accommodation options close to Seongsan Ilchulbong, which makes an early-morning hike to see the sunrise straightforward.

The rooms show some age and wear, although they remain functional.

Great property 10 mins walking distance from Seongsan and short drive from Seopkoji. Many KBBQ restaurants in vicinity. Morning breakfast is excellent. Wife was pleased with choice, prob good for big families. Highly recommend Co-Op if you want to stay on the east side or are hopping around the island, and need a place for one night.

Everything was good

Cycled from Seogwipo to Seongsan, this was one of the bigger hotels in the area. There was a laundry room available for free, just had to get detergent from the concierge.

Everything was great. Location, cleanliness, overall room, price. The shower was so lovely. Worth the extra money for the ocean view. I loved it.

the room was spacious and comfortable. check-in and check-out were also both fuss-free and simple. additionally, there were many restaurants and places to eat nearby.

the soundproofing of the room was not very good. if people walked by you would be able to hear them, fortunately that did not happen often.

Location was excellent, with sunrise peak within (somewhat) walking distance. There was also a few beaches, a viewpoint, and plenty of eats + convenience stores in the area.

It was as expected, and enjoyed our stay a lot!

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff speaks English. Location of the hotel was very near to Seongsan Ilculbong within 5 mins drive. Many local eateries around. Good parking space.

The parking is convenient and the location is quite good near the spot and many choices of the restaurant.

I liked that the hotel is close to many local restaurants and cafes, plus facing the sea and the mountain. The hotel also has washing machines, and they provided drying rack for you to dry the clothes in your room or balcony. There are sufficient parking lots for vehicles. The hotel is close to the port for ferries going to Udo Island. It was easily 5 minutes drive. The hotel is also close to view the Seongsan Ilchulbong, aka Sunrise Peak, a volcano on eastern Jeju Island.

The table and chairs in the room were not comfortable. I had to work for one day, and it was not comfortable. I should have gone to work in the nice cafes nearby...LOL. Also, when we wanted to have breakfast one day, we had to get the food coupon from the front desk, but then we were told that after 9.00am, they cannot sell the coupon. Strange....

Proximity to Seongsan Ilchulbong and good facilities.No need to wake up so early to climb to catch the sunrise.

Not much

We had sea view rooms and it was nice. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. I only do not like their pillows as it was too soft.

Like that there was a bicycle parking area inside the hotel. The hotel was clean and rooms were nice.

Location was convenient and nice near the water.

Didn’t feel as secure as some hotels I’ve stayed in.

Super close 10minutes walk to Seongsan Ichulbong where you could do the sunrise hike. The rooms are quite spacious and bedding is good. Multiple convenience stores nearby! Works as a good base too for Seopjikoji, Orrrn, Bunker des Lumeries.

The parking was outdoors which was okay for my first night but then a large group of students came which meant the buses overtook the main parking area. I had to shift my car to a side gravel area which felt like if I had returned to the hotel slightly later there would be no parking left. Breakfast was the same everyday and felt abit expensive for 15,000..

This is the only hotel that we had booked so far from booking.com requested us to make confirmation as soon as possible. After we made the confirmation, they changed our original 2 rooms to 3 rooms without notification. Not very open & very pleasant service rendered to customer.

The hotel was in a convenient location near Seongsan Ilchulbong....the rooftop garden provided great scenic views of the Oreum as well as Udo Island. Near eateries and many convenience mart.
