Hotel Samhaein

Good clean hotel option in Jeju City not far from the airport and near to shopping and dining options. We stayed here before our flight out. It was about a 30 minute walk from the airport (uphill from the airport) so worked great for us. The room was clean and comfortable and had a fridge and kettle. It gives off a vaguely ‘dated fancy’ look and even has actual keys but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is a cute park directly behind and a nice pedestrian only street nearby with lots of shops and restaurants. There was a bakery directly across as well. We had the bigger two room suite with two beds and two futons so we had lots of room and it was a great value.

The place is clean and comfortable and having a free parking is a big thumbs up. The tangerine tree in front of the building adds a little touch of freshness. Few fruits are already hanging on its branches during our stay. Sadly they are still green. I wonder how it will look when the fruits are ripen.

There is no bidet

Location is close to the airport. Uber one way to the airport was around 5500 won in 2025. Friendly staff. Nice view from the room. Great value for one night stay.

The bathroom is not 100% clean. The bathroom blinds were covered in dust. Neighbors were a bit noisy but tolerable. Everything looks a bit dated but was maintained well. The phone doesn’t charge when you turn off all the lights on the control panel. Once booked, the rate is non refundable.

The hotel is very close to Jeju Airport and is at a very central area, staff was super kind, and the room was super spacious. In addition, wifi was good.

Certain amenities were lacking. For example: the do not disturb button did not work, and there were no safes for valuables.

We stayed at this hotel just for one night since we arrived with a late flight in Jeju and we needed a place easy to get. The room was ok and equipped with all you need.

Good location. Has restaurants and shops open at nights. Safe location with bus stops nearby. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean. Overall we liked it. Staff was friendly and nice.

It’s close to everything even the airport

No Netflix or ability to connect to streaming services

Location is close to airport and intercity bus terminal. Room is was big and clean. The mattress and blanket was comfortable.

Towels are small.Aircon is not working, we have to open the window and ask for electric fan.You can hear the sounds of cars from the outside

It’s classic design, clean, spacious and near the city

It’s quite old and few parts of facilities stuck sometimes, but it’s minor and the staff manage to assist immediately.

The location is perfect, we preferred less crowded area of Jeju-si. Surrounding of the hotel also have a lot of great local food. First time for us in trying the traditional futon sleeping on the floor. It's really warm and cozy for winter especially.

We think the shared toothpaste is a bit not too hygiene.

Great value, the hotel offers nice, clean, basic rooms. Walking into the lobby, it was much more than we expected based on what we paid. Plenty of parking available, good location - very walkable.

Nice position in the central city. The room is big enough.

Too much noise that I can’t fall asleep. Bathroom is clean but shower dacilities are too old. Sockets and heater are broken that can not be used.

The location was convenient, near the airport and not too far from lots of food options.

Wifi was a little slow

The hotel is dated, but the rooms are spacious and clean. I only stayed here to do a tour to explore the island. Not a lot of interaction with the staff.

Breakfast is Korean only with limited options. First day was a buffet and second day I couldn't chose and they just put something in front of me. Not really other breakfast options around so it was the easiest.

The Korean-style room is really awesome. Never thought sleeping on the floor could be so comfortable. But there are beds too - don’t get the wrong idea.

The drain in the bathroom was clogged and flooded the room pretty quickly, but I guess it could be fixed. The hotel is also a little bit old, but generally clean.

The location was good. The room was clean and comfy. Lots of things available around that area.
