Benikea Hotel Jeju

The price value is very good here. It is not expensive by any means, and you get a good hotel with a pool right by the beach. There’s a lot of parking space for a car, and it has a GS25 inproperty and a CU close by that can save you if you arrive late at night. There’s a pork barbaque place in property that’s also reslly worth trying! Very good meat and very friendly staff!

The location is its first downside. The place is not ugly at all, it’s in fact gorgeous, but no Jeju main touristic spot was near. If you book this place, I recommend getting a car. There are buses, but didn’t try them. Also I’d like to mention that the pool was always full of kids, making it difficult to relax for a while.

The air conditioning is not working properly it’s hot, when I ask the front desk to lower the temperature they told me I can do it but the control is not working that time, I’m sweating the whole night.its

Air conditioner in room was set on 25 degrees and we could not adjust. Felt hotter and it was like staying in an oven/sauna. Dirty windows and window sills. We were not allowed to open window as sealed shut. Old and dated hotel

Affordable, decent sized rooms

Very few amenities (no hygiene kit, teas, coffees, etc.

I think the room was pretty clean, it had all necessary appliances. We stayed 2 nights and everything was ok.

Sometimes little bit problem with parking. But it is definitely nothing problematic.

reception staff was not very friendly. Refused to let us have early check in and wanted us to pay. When we refused to pay, he kept dropping his early check in price until we spoke to the manager.

Cleanliness of the room and location of hotel was excellent. I also like the GS 25 convenient store inside hotel.

The parking situation was a little overly crowded but maybe because of it being a holiday weekend.

The elevator was ok !!!! ?

Don't even know where to start !!!! The shower head was broken and water was splashing around, pieces of the tiles from the shower were missing or broken, shower was clogged water didn't go down and flooded the whole bathroom... walls were dirty with strange stains, the part where the air conditioner is had spider webs... But all that wasn't my main problem which was noise, noise came from side to side and specially from upstairs gests, who were walking around late at night and the room absorbs all that sound. I couldn't sleep that night and asked to be put in another room on the next night, they changed my room and assured me that wouldn't be noisy this time but actually my second night was even worse than the first !!!!! More noise from up and sides !!!! I called front desk to ask for some help with the problem but they couldn't do much more about it.Result, hated my stay in this Hotel and will never stay in any of their BENIKEA branch hotels!!! And I suggest that if you are reading this review you do the same... BENIKEA stands for best night in korea , I think they should change their name to WONIKEA...
