Hotel Skypark Jeju 1 Newly renovated

Good location

I didnt like the 9th floor room type concept it looks like love motel which is all around is pink color and the floor was so scary cuz they didnt close other empty rooms door and the hallway had a chair on the middle of the way. Something wrong with that floor. I really dont understand.

Hallasan package was great, but the service at front desk was extremely poor.

I stayed at the Skypark hotel for one night in October to enjoy the Hallasan package. I encountered an issue with a statement from Mr. Heo at the front desk. The room I initially booked had one bed that was too small for my partner and I (180cm and 163 cm) so we inquired about an upgrade for an additional charge. Mr. Heo informed us that this wasn't possible due to the hotel being fully booked. However, I later found that there were multiple rooms available when I looked on booking. When I arrived to check into one of those rooms after making an additional reservation because I was willing to pay for an additional room since my request for upgrade at cost was met with a misrepresentation, there was no explanation or acknowledgment of the earlier misrepresentation. While I appreciated the hotel’s amenities, I believe transparency and honesty is crucial, and this experience has affected my overall impression.

Staff, breakfasts, area

Nice loaction located around some shopping area

Toilet didnt have a dry and wet area so very dangerous. Room was quite small for triple bed. Some staff wasn’t that nice

Located 15 minutes away from the airport and easily accessible by bus. Large rooms with clean facilities.

Not many electrical plugs available and were quite hidden. Took us some time to find them.

Location and triple room had 3 single beds.

The week we were there, it was warm in Jeju despite it being December. There were no aircon in the rooms and the temperature in the rooms went up to 30 degrees. Called reception but they said they have no aircon and just to open tiny windows to cool down the rooms…Staff were not that friendly… they have check in kiosk but it is mandatory to use it eventhough the reception is staffed.

Close proximity to airport with plenty of eateries within walking distance .

Lack of toiletries

Breakfast was good. First time having local dishes for breakfast. Please try their oranges, very juicy and sweet! Every morning, there's a slight variety so breakfast wasn't boring even though we had it for 4 days.Location was great. Multiple bus stops outside the hotel, and there were walking streets nearby as well which grow busy at night. Olive young, restaurants, the face shop etc were in walking distance.Room was clean and spacious. Overall was a great stay :)

Staff could've been friendlier. Couldn't speak English but luckily we could speak a little Mandarin. They were not smiling much and constantly showed impatient expressions and spoke in impatient tone. I sincerely hope that the staff's attitudes can be improved.

Location

The staffs (except one lady) are not very helpful. One particularly lacks enthusiasm/ initiative in his service when we approach him for some issues with the coin laundry. Most staffs do not smile and give no greetings when they meet the customers face to face. The staffs at Skypark III Hotel in Seoul ( we stayed there last October)are much more friendlier and hospitable.

Location was superb. Hotel is clean and spacious. Even has Netflix

Don't have high expectations as this hotel is not new. But skypark always wins in terms of location, reliability and room size

Close to airport.Easy to get around.Room is fine, nothing too fancy.

central location in the city of Jeju, newly renovated, spacious room, the staff at the front desk is a young man and he is working hard to check us in and to help us the best he can

If you have plans to climb Hallasan, the hotel runs pickup service from hotel to starting points.

Rooms have no views and stuffy. You can see wall and windows of next building. Drainage holes in bathroom don't work well.

Good location

The Staff Mr Cho was very unhelpful & rude on the 1st day of lunar new year. We approached him to help get a taxi & he like a school principal just tell us to wait at one side. We waited for very long thinking the taxi will arrive soon. When we checked with him he told me rudely he cannot get a taxi for us. I asked him why he didn’t tell us but ask us to wait aside for soooo long. we couldn’t have find other alternative instead of waiting for nothing & waste our time. Usually I can be more tolerant but that’s 1st day lunar new year it’s unacceptable as he is the 1st outsider I spoken too & so rude,

Bed and pillows are comfortable. Place is clean. Nice bathroom. Good location. Many restaurants, convenience stores and a few bus stops nearby. Friendly staff who could speak a tad bit of English and more in Mandarin. Allowed me to place my luggage there before the check-in time while I went for lunch. During checkout, I had requested the receptionist to call a taxi for me to go to the airport but he was honest enough to tell me that I can easily hail one from the hotel entrance and that saved me time and money.

The service level is horrible. We wanted to extend our stay as my girlfriend was hospitalised. I ran back before the check out time in order to fix this. I tried to fix this but their English was insufficient and we could not settle it at that point. they never contacted me as they used the wrong country code. when we came back to the hospital and wanted to pay, they had increased the room cost, so we had to pay more than what we did for the first night. Unacceptable as I was there before check out time in order to extend our stay. if I knew the new price, I would have checked out when I was at the reception asking for extension. additionally, the bed sheet had holes
