Grand Kecubung Hotel

Very friendly welcome, Excellent Breakfast buffet, nice meals in Restaurant with choice of Indonesian and Western dishes.Very pleasant swimming pool with good changing facilities.

Nearby Mosque very noisy in the night

Breakfast is outstanding. Staff is exceptional. Pool was great for swimming laps.

twin beds

Nice and clean and quiet. Helpful staff

Great staff, comfy hotel with nice pool. Buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. The receptionist let us check in at 8am. The room was spacious and very clean.

Swimming pool

Some of the facilities were a bit old and neglected. Restaurant was missing many items from the menu. I contracted a 90’ massage but it only lasted 70’.

It is a good place to spend a night or two while visiting the Orangutans. There were changes to our plans and the reception staff were really flexible and helpful with making the arrangements. The pool is a nice place to kill some time and while there isn't much in the town, everyone was so friendly that we felt at home.

Some rooms low down without a pool view have some traffic noise. No free airport pick up.

We stayed one night at this hotel after doing and orangutan boat tour. The rooms were big, and super comfortable (they even provide two different pillows with soft or hard firmness). They have a beautiful pool and a great breakfast. The hotel will also arrange transportation to and from the airport for extra cost.

A bit old looking but room are comfortable and clean. Staff very kind. Swimming pool really nice

Restaurant not so good.

Good place good price before leaving for boat trip to Tajung Puting national park

Hotel all good. City is empty of activity. You stay at hotel while waiting for you boat trip

Great place to relax after visiting the National Park. Comfortable room, has a pool and buffet breakfast

Family friendly swimming pool, very clean and lovely rooms, good location.

Only smoking rooms available. Property is a bit run down and is priced the same as some top hotels I stayed at in Jakarta.

Price

The rooms were typical hotel rooms. Comfortable but no atmosphereBreakfast was Asian buffet and plentiful The swimming pool was fabulous. Large and clean

Very good hotelIt deserves more than 7.5 on Booking.com. Large quiet room, good Wifi and safe that I didn't use.Big pool.Attentive, efficient and friendly staffGreat breakfast with western and local food.I really liked the local food like fried rice with seafood, Chinese kongee style porridge, fried tofu tempeh etc.Elevator works well

.The restaurant was good but expensive compared to the rest of the stay. There weren't many other options so we were glad it was there

there was a rat nesting under the chair at the pool.

The location of the hotel walking distance from the River Arut. New hotel with clean, bright, facilities and big room with comfortable bed. Friendly staffGood breakfast buffet

On check-in I specifically asked for a quiet room after 2 nights sleeping badly on the deck of a kelotok, and was assured by the receptionist that this was going to be the case. When we reached my room I discovered that it was on the street side and the traffic noise was quite disturbing. Only then was I told that all the rooms facing the pool and garden were occupied. Good customer service would have been to tell me that in the first place. The bath/shower arrangement is not disability friendly. It's difficult to get in and out of the bath tub with such a wide rim.

Check-in was smooth and pool was great.

The room had a "moth-ball" smell, which went away after the aircon was switched on. Reappeared whenever one left the room and returned. I guess it is just linked to humidity and damp. Not too off-putting. Not many choices around.

Rooms are specious. Staff is very welcoming.

Poor coffee and little breakfast choice for foreigners.

What I liked most was that it was well-situated (not far from the airport), it had a big enough swimming pool and also a restaurant.

The hotel was divided into smoking and non-smoking areas. It was only upon my arrival that I learned that I had to add a fee if I wished to have a non-smoking room.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable room. Great service! We highly appreciate the manager’s help going with us to the hospital when my boyfriend was not feeling well. We will be forever thankful!

Nothing. Everything was great!
