The staff and its amenities were the best. Very friendly and professional in every department.

Location was far but uber rides were affordable so this ultimately was not a problem.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, staff spoke English, the hotel was very updated, the Breakfast was not your typical continental breakfast .

The booked a tour for me and they were very friendly. Told me about bancocolombia atm to get cash and it was in English and Rabbi food delivery. They were very helpful.

The staff is very cortous. The only downside, there is no fridge in the room. But the staff can acomodate for you. The pool is nice

Not my first choice of location if I were there as a tourist to see the city( been there once before a bout ten years ago) we missed our cruise ship in Miami -wanted to be near the port to catch the boat

Apart from breakfast, the meals offered in the restaurant were quite limited. I ordered chicken thighs for dinner, they were drumsticks, so tough I could barely chew them. The staff were great though., not their fault!

Everything in the hotel is perfect. Pool view is great, the room is comfortable, the customer service of the people in the hotel is great

I booked 4 Nights, stayed the first one as I arrived late with kids asking the Front Clerk I would check out the next day to a different Holiday Inn in Cartagena at the Morros location, non the less I was charged an EXTRA night the next day with out staying at the Hotel. At the reception, they took a FOTOCOPY OF MY CREDIT CARD, front and back, supussely for th refund, which happen to be in 30 days.... :(

Good breakfast and coffee. Basic hotel with basic rooms. Good for business travel and quick stay on the way but not a destination. Bed was good and then there was desk and chair.

All was good for my purpose.I had a small (smaller than dime) stain in one of my sheets. but as that was other side of the bed than where I slept, I did not care.

Facilities finishes were terrible, the closet had paint sprayed all over and the room smelled bad (humidity like smell)

The breakfast was great, we loved the fresh colombian 'arepas' we had every morning. The location is not bad, its a safe zone but you have to take a cab if you want to move to the most visited places as a tourist, short distances of course, maybe 10 minutes.

Safe hotel with a security guard. Helpful staff. Teddys was excellent. Restaurant food was great. Cleanliness was excellent. Room was beautiful and with comfortable bedding. Great price and in line with chain brand. I would stay here again. I was a solo traveler and felt comfortable and safe.

Wifi was slow. Coffee wasn't local and brewed normally. Used a Nespresso machine, which was confusing and did not have instructions for use. Location not suitable for walking safely at nightfall, which is around 6:45pm.

I generally give good reviews, but this time I am giving zero stars to Holiday Inn Express Cartagena Manga, an IHG Hotel and I will explain why. I have never seen something like what I am about to tell you. I got to Cartegena on Tuesday May 21st, 2024, and everything was good. The guy at the front desk was nice and cordial, but everything started getting weird when I had a visitor. The guy at the security (Victor) told me whenever I have a visitor I MUST pay $80 dollars extra on top of what I had already paid for the hotel; meaning whenever someone else other than me gets in my room, they will charge me. They wouldn’t let my family, or my visitors visit me and get into my room without paying $80 each. Let’s say, for instance, you have 5 family members in Cartagena that want to visit you while you are in town; they’d require you to pay 5 x $80 = $400 more for that day alone.The situation happened on Tuesday night, so I waited until Wednesday morning to talk about it to the manager. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! The manager (CARLOS BEJERENO) REFUSED to talk to me … Instead, He sent a lady (Maria Fernanda ---Very nice lady by the way) talk to me. She reiterated that was their policy to charge $80 extra every time someone else other than me enters my room. Maria was very polite, but the manager was RUDE, didn’t even want to deal with me and said I could go somewhere else if I wanted to. I would like to mention that I was NEVER told about this while booking the room. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I wish there was an option for zero stars. That’s how upset I am about this hotel. I have been to many places in the world, and I have always been happy about IHG hotels, but this one was just TRASH. ON TOP OF THIS … The rooms are very small, and they don’t have any fridges…OVERALL, UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY $80 US DOLLARS FOR EACH OF YOUR VISITORS during your stay, I DO NOT recommend you using Holiday Inn Express Cartagena Manga, an IHG Hotel during your stay in CARTAGENA.
