Loved the pool. Breakfast. Location. Friendliness of the staff.

My room had a very musty smell to it. It was pretty unpleasant when you first walk into the room. But, I understand the climate probably makes things tough. Outside of that everything was great.

Beautiful, clean, friendly staff. The breakfast spread was delicious and fresh. The pool and courtyard are gorgeous!

The location is perfect, it’s easy to walk to anywhere in the old city, without it being too close to the noisy area. We liked that it was quiet and very safe. The staff were very friendly and provided exceptional service. The breakfast that was included was very good, with a selection of local and other dishes, as well as a self serve area with a European style continental breakfast you could help yourself to. We had a balcony room that was very comfortable and spacious, with a large walk-in rain shower. The bed was very comfortable.

The only thing that we didn’t like was that the bath towels were thin and well worn. One of them had a whole in it. There was also only one hand towel. We could have asked for another, but chose not to as it wasn’t a huge deal for us. I would suggest that the hotel invest in better towels. That’s my only criticism, and otherwise our stay was perfect and we really liked the hotel and especially the staff who were wonderful.

Quiet property, very clean, spacious and modern. Walking distance to everything, but out of the main entertainment area , so you can relax at night . Top 10 of Cartagena that I have stayed in

No food after breakfast, but that is the type of property it is . Easy access to plenty of restaurants close by .

Excellent location, dozens of excellent restaurant at short walking distance, despite this the hotel location is absolutely quiet. Very comfortable room, exceeded my expectations for this kind of hotel in the center of the walled city. The Hotel personnel promptly and gently solved all the doubts/needs we raised to them (Taxis, ATMs, Laundry, etc.).

A group of guests chatting and laughing at very loud voice in the lobby, a couple of times, late in the night. I would have expected this group to be called to stop doing so earlier than it was. It took a long while.

We were in the property only for a night. We got there late so the unit was ready for us which was great but the host didn’t help us with our luggage and there was a very strong odor in the room. Smelled moldy. I understand you’re located in a very old district within Cartagena but the smell was very strong. Other than that the stay was comfortable wish the value for a night will be lower for the country and currency. Pretty expensive too.

The room was clean, large, and comfortable. Good air conditioning, comfortable mattress, plenty of hot water, and lovely ambience. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring the walled city.

Better toiletries would be nice. I would have appreciated conditioner and bar soap, though I didn't ask; they might have been available.

Breakfast was good. Location was good. Room was great.

The pool/rooftop wasn’t quite well-kept. Was lacking in music and ambiance. No active bar or music available. Went up early one day to get a nice swim in and relax, but it wasn’t clean and maintenance was being done on the upstairs bathroom/terrace.

Property was great. Super nice room and clean plus the best shower of my whole trip!Paula on the desk was really helpful and polite. Would stay again.

The location was central but quiet. Was nicely designed, well maintained, spacious room.

Staff were friendly, but services were minimal. Breakfast was ok, but uninspired. One day the room had a very strong sewer smell.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The facilities were in excellent condition, the swimming pool area was very nice and relaxing and the breakfast was lovely. All the staff - Ivan, Natalia, Javier and everyone, were very kind and attentive. The hotel and staff are lovely and I will stay again with them.

Not the hotel's fault, but do note if you are Colombian you have to pay 19% VAT. Therefore, if you are travelling with foreigners (partner/friends/family), make sure you book under their name and you show their passport when you arrive at the hotel so that you don't have to pay the 19% VAT.

The staff was definitely the best part, they were super friendly, accommodating and geniune.

I got bored with the breakfast pretty quickly but I still very much enjoyed my stay.

Great location, just outside hussle and bussle, all walkable. Great property and rooms, nice staff.

All great apart from breakfast, pastries are left open to the elements so if you’re a late rise they will be hard, otherwise fab.

Nice size room and overall decor

Well missing towels, no water (who decides to redo the pipes on a Saturday and suspend water for guest for several hours in a place super hot la Cartagena?

The property is beautiful and luxurious.

The hotel was poorly staffed. It presents like a luxury property but the bar and service are severely lacking.

Nice location and rooftop pool. Rooms were spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

Our room was on the first floor and smelled like sewage water at times. There was no complementary water in the rooms. The hotel was empty and had an eerie sort of feeling while other hotels in the area were full. The breakfast was ok but we have stayed in other hotels in the area where breakfast has been excellent.

It is beautiful and the location is great. Close to shopping and restaurants and bars but quiet.

The AC didn’t cool very well and the chance of someone working the bar at the pool was about 50%. Breakfast was good and the server was very nice.

The hotel is well located, it has a nice pool and the rooms are big enough.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this hotel; Days after leaving Cartagena I received a charge on my credit card from hotel. After speaking multiple times with the hotel staff who assured me that no charge had been made, in addition to the fact that in theory they could not access to my credit card information because it was no longer available because I had already left the hotel, we found that an improper charge had been made using my credit card.After that comes the adventure of the refund, after realizing that the improper charge had been made they agreed to refund me the money as soon as possible. Three weeks passed in which I had to make multiple daily calls to the hotel asking about my money. No one could tell me about the status of my refund plus they always said they were going to call management and call me back with details but they never came back so I had to call again.... It was frustrating not being able to have a concrete answer and a clear explanation of how this charge could have been made and in general how they handle the situation without much interest.I am very sorry for the guys who helped with breakfast and the girl who was in charge of cleaning the rooms but it is not a place that I would recommend.
