Estelar Cartagena de Indias Hotel y Centro de Convenciones

It was conveniently located and very safe. People cannot access the floor of your hotel room by elevator without a key card. The continental breakfast was good with fresh fruit and lots of bread options.

The room was warm and the air conditioner did not work well. They put us in an older part of the hotel and the shower was in a tub with a wide ledge that was very difficult to get in. I slipped while getting in and got a bruise on my knee as a result.

The pool had the best view. The rooms were very spacious.

The room did not have wash clothes when we arrived.

The amenities

There was no do not disturb hunger for the door. An employee knocked on our door late in the evening, once I didnt answer she opened the door. Once she realized I was in the room she asked if I wanted a robe? I never asked for a robe.

The amenities, pool and roof top bar were on excellent. Very clean property in a great location.

I liked the view of the ocean best. Every room had a view of the ocean. It was refreshing and beautiful to see the view. Also, the breakfast buffet was AMAZING! I LOVED IT..

The hotel needs to do a better job of receiving calls. I called Estelar Several times before my checking date and no one was available to answer the phone or email.

Hotel was secure, modern,easy to access, short distance from major attractions. Breakfast was delicious and staff was great.

Class act all the way. Everyone was very accommodating and helped me with everything.

Location and views

Feels very crowded - too many guests for one pool area and restaurants feel chaotic.Iron in room not working and half the machines in the gym out of service and very old.Was surprised to hear the music from the rooftop so loudly from our room even though so many floors between us and the sky bar. Poor sound proofing in rooms could hear every voice in the corridoor.

Breakfast was excellent, lot of variety. Beautiful views from my room and the pool was great.

I liked everything.

It looks clean and organized.

The complications with the elevators and the fact that is only one key.

Location and amenities

Couple of things were missing from the room, we did not have enough blankets as we were 4 people, and a glass from the balcony was broken

A wonderful stay, sea views and comfortable room. Good restaurant options and breakfast buffet was exceptional. Top notch facility!

Staff unhelpful, we had and issue from the moment we step into the room and the odor of humidity was unbearable we asked for a dehumidifier which they promised to bring to the room asap to our surprise our request was not taking seriously until the next day which they wanted us to change rooms in the middle of the day when we were out enjoying the activities of the city Very unprofessional.I have stayed at many Estelar hotels in Colombia and I have never had an issue but this Cartagena hotel is hands down bad guest services.

Excellent location, luxurious hotel. The pool was spectacular, the food was delicious, and the room was large, comfortable, and had a fantastic view. We visited the beach area directly in front of the hotel and took a swim in the water. It was perfect. The rooftop did not disappoint with live music, delicious drinks, and incredible views. We will be back for sure.

Everything. Customer service SUPERB, Rooms Luxury especially Oceanview, Restaurant choices a Delight, Clean, clean, clean & Breakfast was yummy.

The staff was very friendly

Some machine of the gym didn’t work very well, WC was blocked we need to call many time the admin for help

The location was great.

The female staff in the bar area of the pool are not friendly and could be more customer service friendly.
