It's overpriced...way over priced. By the time they got done nickel and diming us, the bill came to over $600, for a 3 night stay! Booking.com needs to do a better job being real about the prices of the properties they offer, and hotels like Las Americas need catch a clue. It's not a $200/night property. End of story.

Excellent view from the room. Nice pool on the roof, ammenities was perfect and all people very charm and kind.In one word, PERFECT.

The distance to the walled city is too long, but all other things override this unconvenient.

Wonderful people at the front desk. We had our wedding in Cartagena and our family booked multiple rooms. The front desk is so helpful with every question and need. I especially appreciated Darwin at the front desk as he handled all the complex movements and arrangements with friendliness and patience. The hotel has everything... 5 different pool areas, 3 restaurants. The food is amazing, even the snacks at the bar. We ordered room service late at night and the food at the rooftop bar was especially good!

Wide variety of local food and international buffet in the breakfast, the pool on the 10th floor only for adults it's chill, with amazing view and bar next to it to take the sun, listen to good music and have a good holiday vibe.The room was okay. The hotel had an extra service to decorate the room for my BF' birthday

Considering that weather in Cartagena is always steamy, it's disappointing that we must pay for the water in the minibar of the room and that there is no fountain at the entrance of the hotel for the guest to refresh at arrival.

Great staff, especially in the restaurants. Cleanness of the hotel was impressive. We enjoyed the pools. The food was amazing. The beds in the room were very comfortable.

Exterior of the hotel could use some fresh paint. While the meals tasted great it wasn’t consistent. You could order same dish on different days and it would have different ingredients and taste. I would appreciate some consistency in that regard.

Have water leak in the room and the come fix only day after, don’t use coffee in the room the change a lot for it, and pour breakfast

It’s on a beach

It’s in need of repair and it’s dated. The rooftop deck, pool and restaurant were all closed. The breakfast area on the main level was closed and we had to venture to a different hotel.

Close to the beach. Pools were nice (when they were open).

Pools were sometimes closed during times they were supposed to be open and even when some staff said they'd be open. Breakfast was closed in our hotel every day of our stay, so we had to eat it at the hotel next door, where we had to fight off birds in the breakfast area. Shower in our room was broken twice and there was mold near the AC in our room. The hotel's quality is very far from the 5 stars listed online and not worth the price.

Great facilities. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a great view of the beach. The gym is well equipped with a wide variety of equipment from cardio to weight training. The personnel was great and very understanding. Great breakfast options. The restaurant in the new tower can get quite busy but there is always the option to go for breakfast also the the old tower next to it.

Everything was perfect.

Food was great . Location worked for our family .

Only suggestion is to have a dessert location at night fur children.. ice cream or bakery shop .
