Great location within the walled city.

Some rooms are small and had the smallest bathroom I've ever come across. Though, our room at earlier stay had larger room with a better sized bathroom. Very friendly front desk.

Very limited on comfort. Super small bathrooms, no ironing boards and need to replace well used towels. Very limited bathroom amenity supplies.

The quaint, authentic atmosphere. The tropical feel with the beautiful plants. Setting for breakfast was pleasant..Staff was welcoming, pleasant and willing to help… LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!

The bed sheets are thin and old. The towels are worn and discolored..Furniture was old and not too functional. Beautiful wooden chair BUT the legs were not sitting balanced on the floor. Whenever you touched it … it would topple..shower stall did not drain well and faucet would splash all over when opened. Required a technique. Breakfast was basically the same each morning.. did not cater for persons who are vegetarians ?coffee was nice and strong!

Location was great. Breakfast was really good - nice selection of food.

Pool was in an awkward location - right in the main lobby area. As a result, people didn't use it during my stay.

This hotel is situated in a great location in the historical centre of Cartagena. The rooftop bar was lovely.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a lot of noise from the streets during the night.

It’s great for an overnight stay. It’s a beautiful property but it’s also historic. All of the available electric outlets were in the bathroom. That’s only a slight inconvenience but for a longer stay it’s a mild nuisance.

Early check in

The multiple rooms we all stayed all had hard mattresses. Do not recommend any of the "suites" facing the road and it was loud until 4 am. Hot water in shower was non existent on friends room on 3rd floor.

The location is the best. We stayed the last night in Catagena. The staff are friendly and the room was nice and they have a very nice breakfast included.

No working elevator. Slippery surfaces in the rooftop jaccuzzi (sun screen?), lighting in the room was dim

The location was the best, it's within the walled city and everything is within walking distance. People at the front desk is very kind.

Indeed, there are many bars and discos nearby with nightlife, and the noise affects the hotel. The elevator wasn't working, and apparently this has been a problem for some time. There's a musty smell in some areas of the hotel, but this is understandable given the city's atmosphere.

Overall my stay was wonderful. Bonus that the TVs had streaming services available.The only downside was the broken elevator, but other than that, it was wonderful.The breakfast had decent options.

A lot of functioning and structural issues. Recurrent electricity black outs and air conditioning constantly needed fixing

Hotel Parador is a welcoming and comfortable stay right in Cartagena. It’s close to the main attractions but still feels peaceful and secure. The rooms are clean and well-kept, and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to the team for letting me check in early after a long flight—such a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference. A great base for exploring the city.
