The large room, the view from our balcony, good breakfast, convenient location. All are really good.Actually the staff is nice, they allowed us to take the apartment 2 hours earlier and to checkout for an hour later. So, I'm adding some point specifically for this nice move.

They currently had constructions inform of the hotel, that spoiled the sea view of course. Then the announced gym was not available at all for all our 4 days, it was also under constructions.And the pool rooftop was also optionally demolished, however we were able to swim, it just doesn't look good.The ridiculous thing that made me really mad, that they put a coffee machine in your junior suit and now capsules, if you want to try it - pay. $1 americano coffee, $2 capuchino. That is not really welcoming for relatively expansive hotel. You guys could give us at least 2-4 coffees to try as a welcome set especially in the junior suite (we would buy the rest, no problem). But the staff said no, that is the hotel rule. So, you saved to $2 and because of this ridiculously greedy decision I take out 1 point from the rate (so you could have +1, maybe more). And it's not about the staff, it's about the stupid policy. The administration deserved it well !Now, I understand that the facility needs some reparation and it's good thing to do. So I'm not smashing the rate because of that, just a bit for disappointment and because they didn't notify as in advance.It's also a quite old building, so I would advice the owners to check walls and entire construction for reliability.Be ready for lots of vendors on the beach. Not really the hotels problem, just a Cartagena thing. I said "no gracias" 50 times a day. If the hotel could protect people from it it would be a huge advantage, that they could mentioned as a benefit.

Overall everything was perfect. The staffs were helpful.

We were three people but the housekeeping was leaving only two towels per day. After our request, they started to give three. There are beach towels available for the hotel guests but we were not aware until we heard about a tour representative located in the same street. There are chairs and umbrellas allocated to the hotel guests but we were told by a security guy in our last day. Hotel reception may improve these points and advise the guests upon check in.

Bar at the pool only accepted card. Guest policy is not as clear as should be.

Arriving in the country was a complete disaster. We spent 2.5 hours waiting in the immigration line.What a mess the airport is. For a city of this size and the amount of tourist activity, it is surprising there is not an airport to accommodate the business.We will not consider returning to Cartagena until a new airport is built.

The room was beatiful and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect.

Safe in room not working on arrival. One coffe cup in room. No hot water- we let the front desk know. Waited an hour still no hot water, no follow up from front desk. We needed to get to airport so don’t know if issue was ever resolved

It was a very dirty room, the white curtains were becoming gray! Staff try to charge you for everything they can. Most of them cannot speak English and everytime you want to go to the hotel you have to answer many questions. Windows are very thin and you cannot sleep due to the noise. The location is good. Breakfast was good as well.

It was dirty, and much more expensive compared to what it is worth. Unrespectful personnel and security.

The hotel is on the beachfront; there was construction work as I stayed there, so there was no hotel beach for us, but it was nice to see the sea from the balcony. The hotel has quite good wifi connection, I could work from my room; the breakfast was a bit repetitive but good overall, fruits, eggs, pastries, cheese, pancakes. I liked to spend time at the pool on the 22nd floor. It is half an hour walk from the historic center, and you can find plenty of restaurants/bars and shops around. Safe to walk.The room was spacious and cleaned every day.

First, it is very noisy at night, you get all the music and shouts from the street. It is noisy during the day, too, but nights are more problematic. The furniture is quite shabby, and rooms feel worn out. I was also quite unhappy with the pool service, during the day the pool was often occupied by families with men and children jumping to the pool like crazy, making everyone around wet and not caring about other people's rest. These issues are easily solved if the administration cares about cunstomers' rest and comfort but men at the pool bar just did not care.
