Hotel Barahona Cartagena

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Their wifi was decent and they had a nice courtyard for their breakfast, which was a decent start to the day.

The room's only window faced internally in the building, so there was no natural light. The walls were blank white and the floor was uncovered tile, which together gave it a kind of depressing feel.

Location was great, near to almost everything: the beach, restaurants, drugstores, markets.

The window from the room was not so big and not with a nice view.

Good location and loved the restaurant and the welcome drink. The staff is kind and they kept our baggage for a few days

The staff very helpful at literally any time of the day or night whenever we needed it, and with whatever we needed. Everything was clean and neat all the time and the food in the morning was verrrrrrry good! The location was perfect for everything we did as well

$25 USD guest fee, first room we were put in did not have functioning A/C, sort of difficult to get the hot water to work, wifi connection was pretty poor.

Staff was superb, responsive. Restaurants and bars were good. Common areas and pool were nice. Very comfortable stay. Short walk to beach. Short ride to old town.

Rooms have no windows! The only ventilation is through an open vent in the door which leads to the corridor, so that you can hear everything.Also, there is no hot water, which isn’t as bad as it sounds in a hot climate, but still…

Best breakfast i’ve ever had in a hotel. Usually its just a buffet but they give you a whole meal. They also lend you towels for the beach at no extra cost. Honestly amazing service.

Good location enjoyed the top sitting area at night. The bartender/server was excellent ?. Enjoyed the cats ?. Good atmosphere up there

They should have extra hooks in the bathroom. Also,they could benefit by having a sign saying something about if towels not required cleaning leave hung would save them having to clean them.

I felt it was very expensive for what it was, the room needs a paint job, and the door lock was damaged.

Stay was great and comfortable. Everything was within close proximity. Mall, supermarkets, restaurants. 15 seconds in any direction can give you three or more restaurant choices.

The hotel's facilities, particularly the terrace, were the highlight of my stay. This charming area, where breakfast is served, offers a lovely view that provides a serene start to the day. The breakfast itself was good, but not much variety. The pool area was also nice.

My primary concern was the bathroom in my room. It was uncomfortably hot and stuffy, making it less than ideal for relaxation. The lack of proper ventilation turned what should have been a refreshing space into a sauna, which was quite unpleasant after a day out exploring the city.

really low quality service. doors were broken (both bathroom and main door) and stuff promise to change room but they did not. breakfast also was not good and staff was always "not happy" to do anything. if you think to book this hotel, change your mind

I was with my girlfriend spending the weekend and when we went to take a shower there was no water. They lasted all afternoon without water.
