Breakfast and location

Asked to hold my room for a few minutes after checkout time since I had a meeting and wasnt sure I could make back on time. They refused, I feel they could have done a bit more for me. This caused me a huge inconvenience.

Good staff and service, clean and well kept boutique

Water pressure for shower in rooms were a little weak. Staff is not very well informed of touristic information and able to execute logistics efficiently.

Great location, and very friendly staff! The rooms are big and clean, the breakfast is nice.

There is quite some noise from the surrounding bars, as expected given the central location.

Great location for Old Town architecture and Gethsemane street art.

The general area had a lot of construction while I was there. It was still very close to all the Old Town sites.

Very well place closed in Getsemaní and the old town. You can do everything by foot. Breakfast is good, staff takes care of you. Swimming pool is amazing with view on the waterfront

I booked a superior room with city view. The balcony door could not closed properly and it was very noisy during night.

The hotel is really nice and modern. Very clean with really nice breakfast service included. The breakfast was amazing with a huge buffet laid out in addition to being able to order some things off the menu which was also included. The food at the pool and the restaurant was also really really good. The staff is so nice and friendly, always trying to find a way to help the guests. The pool is beautiful and has a perfect backdrop of the bay and Cartagena’s beautiful skyline. I could spend an entire day at the pool with my husband and two kids and didn’t get tired of the view. The location of this hotel is perfect too. You can walk to the old city in 5 mins and a further 20 min walk to the fort/castle. We had such a lovely time staying at this hotel and will stay here for sure if we ever come back.

The location was perfect. Within a walking distance to the pier, restaurants, nightclubs, the old city!!!! The staff was superb, especially Juan ( front desk) Luis Alfonso ( security ) Daniel ( pool’s bartender )

Location and pool

We have our wallets stored in the security box and some of our money was stolen. The hotel said they will investigate but nothing happens and their response was that they weren’t sure about the robbery.

Both room and bathroom were clean and well designed. The only thing that I missed was a working table in the room as I was traveling on business, of course for those going to Cartagena on vacations that should not be a problem :-) Staff was very supportive, breakfast was good at the hotel and I was 1 min walking from the congress and 5 min walking from the stores and restaurants in the city.

I have nothing to highlight here.

The property was amazing; not only was the room clean and looked luxurious but the staff was super friendly and always attentive. It’s little things like that which makes difference in someone’s stay. I recommended this place to anyone coming as a couple / solo.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Firstly, we arrived early and they were able to clean and accommodate our room which was greatly appreciated. From the reviews and pictures we knew that the room type we booked was not huge and had no view, so it was fine for us! That made the room super quiet in the night and also it is not that small, and the big size bed compensated for the space. Comfy bed, clean room, clean bedsheets, lovely hotel merchandise, big bathroom and wardrobe. We really enjoyed the lovely buffet breakfast too and the beautiful small infinity pool on the roof top is super nice touch! And ALL of the staff members were amazing, specially receptionist, door men and cleaning stuff. And special shout out to the rooftop pool guys!!! It was great to chat with them. Location is also great, right in between the 2 major tourist neighborhoods in Cartagena: the hystorical colonial old town and getsemani (which is lovely, specially during the evening). Also a short uber/taxi drive to bocagrande.

We liked everything! If I were to give some constructive feedback (but nothing major!), in our bathroom would have been great to have some wall shelves to put toiletries as the sink counter was slightly small, so this is an idea for the hotel for these type of rooms. Also more variety at breakfast would be a nice thing.

Service was mixed - housekeeping were good but food service staff seemed untrained and were standing around chatting a lot. The pool was empty when we arrived yet we still had to go asking for for towels as they were not restocked or provided to us when we got there despite staff members standing there. We ordered drinks at the pool and they were given in old, stained plastic glasses. Food at the pool was very average - tried to order 3 different menu items before eventually being told there were out of all bread so there were very little options (this was in the middle of lunchtime). We did not try the main restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was not good. We went down at 9:15 (45 mins still left) and majority of the buffet items were empty and not replaced, We ordered off the menu instead and both meals were small portions, had no flavor and slow to arrive despite the place being very quiet. We went down at 8:15 the second day and there were still items already empty and not replaced.The “gym” advertised is tiny with only two machines, one of which was out of service while we were there but we were not notified of this - feels wrong to advertise a gym when there is only one working machine.Rooms do not have smart TVs so can’t watch any streaming services - we have stayed in multiple hostels in South America that have smart TVs so it was very surprising to see a 5 star hotel cannot provide such a basic amenity. I would say it is closer to a 3 star hotel so the price does not seem appropriate.

Nothing much

Simple things like check in 20 minutes before is not entertained as the ‘computer does not allow it!’They gave just one bottle of water in the room . When I asked another at 7 pm. They said the mini bar service was shut! So they couldn’t give me a bottle of water ??‍♂️The road just outside stinksVery small rooms for the price

Very nice property and staff. Good breakfast included in price. Pool and spa on property. Safe and clean.

Some miscommunication with the concierge caused my tour to the beach club to be cancelled.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel is located close to the walled city and the main streets of Getsemani. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool. The breakfast had many options: buffet but you could also order off a menu. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. It was 5 stars for us all across
