Oz Hotel Luxury

It was a couple blocks from the beach, guest friendly, and the staff treated me like royalty. They also gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room upon arrival!

Everything was good except for everyone bombarding me trying to sell me something. Especially on the beach nearby. The staff was very nice and accommodating

The terrace has a good 360 view of the Cartagena Hotel Zone.

I thought the terrace would have ocean views and it did not.

Excellent service and the staff always goes out of the way to provide great customer service. I'm a repeat customer and will stay there again....The breakfast is good and hot water showers.

The service and the location were fantastic. Everyone that worked on site was very kind and professional. I was provided a complimentary dinner in addition to complimentary daily breakfast. The food was delicious!

I came to Cartagena to relax and celebrate my birthday. I reserved a room at Oz Hotel Luxury. On my printed confirmation, the address reflected Cl. 5 #2 14, Cartagena de Indias, Provincia de Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia and that is where my Uber brought me when I left the airport. On arrival, the front desk staff told me that I had actually booked at Oz Hotel with address - Cra. 3 #4-61, Cartagena de Indias, Provincia de Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia. They walked me over to the other hotel and I checked in. The staff stated that where I was staying was the newer hotel. I disagreed but continued my stay. I was quoted a price of $508 USD but ended up paying $615 USD some how - for a hotel room that did not match my confirmation. My room was nice and comfortable, however, the building did not match my confirmed reservation. The view from my room was a wall - not a major issue but just not ideal.

First we were upgraded from the OZ Hotel Luxury (smaller rooms) to a king room at the OZ Hotel on Cra3 street. OZ also has the OZ Collection Hotel to add to what might be confusing to some ( as it initially for us). Our stay was great: from the moment we got out of the Uber to our departure 10d later- the staff were welcoming, attentive, professional, helpful. The room staff provided excellent daily service. Breakfast was very good with both western & Colombian offerings. And although Cartagena is a vibrant, noisy city once inside the Hotel the noise disappears. There is also a 6th floor terrace to relax at, however the typical noise of the street can be alittle distracting. Location wise it was a 16 min uber to airport, 5 min walk to closest beach & many eateries close by. The Old Walled City is a 7-8 min Uber.

We loved the hotel. The rooms were great, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. And, on top of that, the staff is super friendly and helpful

If I had to find something, the decoration of the rooftop terrace was not as nice as that of the rest of the hotel, but nothing major. I’ll definite go back

A little street noise

I got upgraded from the small standard room at Oz hotel luxury to a king room in the neighboring Oz hotel right around the corner. Within that hotel they upgraded me again to a junior suite. What an awesome room, and the hotel! Very spacious, pleasant, and well appointed room and the bathroom. The bed was very very comfortable.The buffet breakfast was very good, lots of options to choose from, unlimited juice and water.The staff was very nice and attentive. They held my bags in storage till I came back from a trip in the evening.The price I booked at was really good for this level of hotel.It's also very quiet. Very respectable clientele.

The hotel itself was really good. Got lucky with dual upgrade and a great price. There are some streetwalkers right on the corner next to the hotel, but it has nothing to do with the hotel, and they keep them away from the entrance or even near it.

Fast check in and out. Comfortable bed, spacious room, the safe was a little small but it worked, good shower, good wi-fi, good restaurant and excellent breakfast.

The mosquitoes ? around the property but that was not the hotel's fault.

I liked the breakfast? ?. I did eat at the restaurant one day and the food was good. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower was large and there was adequate water pressure and hot water ?. Good location near the beach. Reception area personnel were professional. Check in and out was seamless.

There are lots of biting insects around the hotel entrance but that wasn't the hotel's fault. So I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The readiness to help the customers.

The way they where so strick because my friend lost her passport and they wouldn't let her in the room. Also my family came to visit and they made her stay in the lobby. Which caused a problem because we were trying to change from beach clothes into dinner clothes....I couldn't understand stand that policy.

When we arrived we were sent to a different property which was quite chaotic. Breakfast wasn’t great. We booked this location for the rooftop but then were moved to another without one.
