    Pros +

    • The Hotel staff that made me feel comfortable in a foreign country.
    • Staff and value proposition.
    • This sweet boutique hotel is beautiful, quirky, and an amazing place to stay.

    Cons -

    • I did not like my room at all. The room was really small, no windows and I never had a hot shower.
    • Lack of privacy in the bathroom (open to a light well where sound a modest amount of visuals are shared between rooms)
    • Honestly, we have nothing negative to say about our experience. Everyone we encountered was great and friendly, and everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Good location, very vib area, but inside is very quite. Nice stuffs, good restaurant, interesting design, everything was ? good. Will go back if I travel to Cartagena again.

The location was absolutely prime - couldn't have asked for better. We were in Room 6, which turned out to be perfectly positioned away from the hotel bar and rooftop area, so it was nice and quiet. Even though our room was street-facing, the nightlife in the area didn't disrupt our peace at all. We didn't end up trying the breakfast since we had other spots in the area we wanted to check out, but the rooftop pool was a highlight for us - two separate mini pools up there, and we loved it!

Honestly, we have nothing negative to say about our experience. Everyone we encountered was great and friendly, and everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful property with amazing rooms full of character.

To me it just doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel. The staff are pleasant but not as accommodating as one might typically get. The shower was also cold for 2 nights and a pipe flooded and ruined some of my shorts but they sort of just didn’t mention it.

The hotel is gorgeous, it feel like staying in a little art gallery where every piece had been carefully curated . The service is impeccable and every nook of the property is perfectly designed.

This place is really in the heart of the action- wonderful for walking around but our rooms ( they were beautiful spacious rooms) were right in the front and it was extremely noisy for sleeping.

Loved the facilities, Staff was very accomodating very helpful always on call

The water seemed to stay cold

The staff was very attentive and helpful. They accommodated our request to switch rooms from a lofted bedroom to one with bathroom and bedroom on the same floor. Very lgtbq friendly. Rooftop and pool were lovely!

They need more credit card machines... Esp on the roof so a person doesn't need to be summoned to accept credit card payment. The courtyard plays music until 1am... If that ended earlier it would feel completely like a sanctuary inside Cartagena.

Food and service was great, timely, and full of flavor. Staff was very attentive and prompt.

    View. Breakfast.

There was no hot water. It was loud. Staff was rude. We asked for recommendations and the staff treated us like this was abnormal and absurd.

The hotel's location is excellent, inside the walls of the Old Town.   You can walk to almost all attractions in a few minutes. On site we found nice and helpful staff. We had several requests that were fulfilled. The living conditions were very good.Despite the proximity to the street, there is silence inside this historic tenement house. There are swimming pools and comfortable relaxation zones on the roof.

We stayed for 4 nights. Arrived at around midnight as that’s when our flight got in. We had wanted to take a shower and go to bed. The shower water was no more than a drip. We called down to the front and they said they would tell maintenance. An hour later and still no water, they were still working on it. We finally called it a night around 2 am and the water was still not fixed. It continued to be an issue into the next day which was frustrating. We weren’t offered any kind of compensation or even an apology in spite of not having running water in our room. The room itself was clean but some of the furnishings were a bit dated considering the 5 star rating. The bed was fine but again not what I would consider luxurious. The best feature of this hotel is the location. It is very well situated in the middle of Getsamani and walking everywhere was easy. Not sure that I would stay again though as the lack of water was incredibly inconvenient.

Gorgeous aesthetic, centrally located within walking distance to everything, great staff, and delicious breakfast

    Nothing!

    Nice pool area

Room was tiny , service was very average and poor at times.

    10CarlosPosted on: 1-29-2025

The decoration on the property is superb, the ambience of the different locations within the hotel are really great and the overall experience is very good

The reception staff could be better trained, as we had issues being charged twice for the room taxes. Breakfast prices are very high and not really worth the value. Bed are on the small side.

The unique decor . The coffee and the milk+butter at breakfast were so delicious . The proximity to Cafe Havana

rooms felt unfinished. Our room smelled like varnish. things were falling apart.

    Nice location lovely staff

Too noisy. My wife and I had to leave a day early as we could not sleep due to the music on rooftop swimming pool until midnight and the cutlery noise in morning. Our room was not situated well and we should have received prior notice about noise.
