- Location
- Location was strategically well placed to walk around hystorical places (walled city and San Felipe castle)
- Some of the staff were nice and helpful, others less, but none were terrible. The hotel is small, but well kept.
Cons -
- No ac working in the rooms no tv working staff rude
- The breakfast can have more options, if you’re a colombian citizen but you are another country resident who doesn’t do taxes in Colombia, make sure you are patient enough to discuss with the counter represantive acout the tax deduction (1 - 2 hrs) and have your tax declaration with you
- Location. There are way better locations as this is on the limit of the walled city and does not feel very safe and is very dirty. Really a shame... One of the people in our group had their necklace yanked right off their neck by someone on a motorcycle about 100 feet from the hotel. When we went walking to the walled city and the historic center, there were much prettier areas that felt a lot safer and were more pleasant.

The location is excellent, you can walk to go to the best restaurants
The sandwich that they have for breakfast
Possibly the most comfortable bed ever!
The bathroom was incredibly small, the soaps and shampoo were also tiny.
The staff is fantastic and the hotel is gorgeous. We were staying at the islands before coming back to stay in Cartagena. They were gracious enough to hold our extra luggage overnight. The breakfast was delicious and the rooftop was wonderful to sit and admire the city. Even though we were facing a busy roundabout, it was quiet at night. The beds are very soft but I usually find the beds to be too firm for my comfort, so I slept great. I recommend staying here and am looking forward to returning.
The location, aesthetics and design were great! The cleaning team did a great job as well and were the friendliest.
For it to be a “luxury” hotel, the amenities were subpar. No choice with the included breakfast, lack of bar and laundry services was disappointing. They closed the courtyard after breakfast, which made no sense especially since e there are no desks and chairs in the rooms. The rooftop patio was dirty, no shade, fans, and often no cushions on furniture. While staff were professional, they were not friendly or welcoming, with the exception of one that mainly worked the late shift. We stayed in the area on our last trip at GHL Collection Armeria Real Hotel, which is down the street had exceptional hospitality and amenities spoiled us, so we’re were expecting similar treatment.
Location is good, bed and pillows are very comfortable, quiet at night to sleep (in courtyard room), breakfast is good and plentiful, staff is courteous. Showers have plenty of hot water and work well.
The courtyard rooms windows faces the hallway so the blinds must be fully down or you get 0% privacy. So it's like not having a window in your room at all. No natural sunlight. The pool area is very small, but better than nothing.
The way it has been set up is quite lovely. Breakfast on the patio, and a very good breakfast at that!
There’s not enough light in the rooms, and for me the bed was way too soft.
The breakfast was great well prepared, not heavy and absolutely delicious. One of the best impressions!
The location and the heratige look was nice.
The room close to the street are too noisy.
Is a great location.
Rooms are awkward, small and uncomfortable. One bearly fits in there. Bathrooms are also very tiny.
Great location — easily walkable to everything, but the location on the edge of Getsemaní meant it was much more accessible by car for pickup/drop-off than hotels located more centrally (we regularly saw long lines of cars backed up in the narrow, pedestrian-focused internal streets). Staff were very helpful and kind and daily room service was great. Room was perfectly ok but maybe felt a little tired — for example, rickety closure to bathroom door.
Very small room and bathroom.
The room was comfortable. The property was nice, great breakfast, good location, easy to walk anywhere.
The pool was a small.
Very poor
10 sqm room instead of 17 ! for the first night - after intervention normal room. no contact/discussion possibility with the director.
The breakfast was ok it could do with a menu where you can choose from. There was a slight language barrier as I didn’t speak any Spanish so I had to look at other peoples plates. But overall the hotel was beautiful some of the best facilities I’ve use the bed was so comfy
Staff friendly, very good breakfast
No changing room and shower when the fly is late and the room is vacated by 12pm
Charming design and nice courtyard, walking access to great attractions. The great AC saved me in the heat.
I felt trapped in the room because the only window looked onto the internal courtyard so I had to keep it closed for privacy. The lighting of the room was dim and cold. Some more art or color in the room would have been nice.
The bed in the room was the best I had in Colombia. I slept really good in it.Staff was very kind, the location was good (2 min walk of the restaurants of Getsemani en 5 min from the old city) and they had a good breakfast included.
The breakfast was good, there were two issues, the hotel did not honor the upgrade of the room accorind the to booking; the choice between double bed and large double bed; I choce large doble bed and they did not give What was in the reservation, I got just a double bed. The web page is misleading about the location when it says Centro Historico but not within the "Ciudad Amurallada"
The hotel not going according to the reservation.
