Pros +

• Host Valentina was so great, the place was clean and very pretty
• It was right in the middle of Santa Teresa. Very close to beach and bars/restaurants and stores. It was clean and I appreciated the pool and common area to store, cook, and eat my food.
• Youre in the south next to the good restaurants and the beach just in front is quiet. Owners and visitors are great. Take earplugs for the night (busy street and town) and enjoy the chill vibes of the Lodge. Best holidays ever

Cons -

• The walls were paper thin with some holes in areas such as the meeting point between the roof and the wall. So guests heard everything going on in the next room and the loud noise from the street traffic was a constant issue. The main road in Santa Teresa is gravel with potholes, no designated walkway and the cars, trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, bikes were traversing this road with no adherence to traffic rules. I almost got ran over by a motorcyclist. She was so close to me that she hit the pizza box I was holding and almost knocked my dinner out of my hands. The driveway and parking was overrun by trees and bushes to the point it obstructed my parking space. The host only accepts payment via cash or PayPal. PayPal charges a 5% service fee that is incurred on the merchants transaction side, yet my host charged me an extra 5% to cover the PayPal service fee. This was a hidden fee not included in the booking.com price so I (customer) incurred the financial burden of the 5% service fee charged by PayPal. This was an unexpected hidden fee and the customer shouldnt have to bear the financial burden of the merchants choice of payment. The host chose PayPal, the host should bear the cost of the fees.
