Radisson Srinagar

Small cosy hotel in Srinagar. Good breakfast. Most of staff very helpful, especially gate staff

Extra person charges at actual charged more than what’s mentioned in booking website. Front desk man was not helpful

The rooms are standard. The food was extremely tasty. Staff at the restaurant are extremely courteous and friendly. Always at your service.

The guy at the reception had an attitude of “you are privileged to be my guest” and did not have a minimum courtesy to even smile. The bathrooms were not cleaned well. There’s dirt seen on the floor There was dust on the carpets - not vacuumed. The disaster was the AC - room temperature was showing 25.9 and after setting the AC by their AC technician to 20; it showed 24.9 the next day morning. Couldn’t sleep well because the room was not cool at all.

The location is perfect. Very close to both the Dal Lake as well as the markets.The staff very polite, and helpful. Food is excellent and rooms very comfortable.

The inhouse transportation service could be better. We requested for a car for 1 evening local market visits but the prices quoted were exhorbitant. More than 3 times what we paid to external service providers. Also we were promised a 30% discount on in house dinning however on checkout we were given only 15% .

The locations is very close to Dal lake, Lal chowk and good restaurants, the room was comfortable and heating worked fine, the breakfast is very good , the staff are warm and very helpful

Probably it can be a bit more affordable for the breakfast inclusive price, we paid above 15k per night

The breakfast range was very wide, prepared and presented well and service assistance top class.

The rooms were clean service was great and food was tasty!

- some slippery film on the room floor- Bathroom tilework poor not according to *standard of hotel and above all to many broken tiles, looked likean avarage indian bathroom not what you expect in this level- room door not closing propperly- no toilet paper on room- waste from previous guest under the bed

Breakfast was good. Masala Tea was exquisite!

A lot of things1. Rooms are old2. AC was wasn’t cold enough3. When we checked in at 9 pm, there were dishes outside another room that were used and had leftover food in them. Next morning, at 9:00 AM dishes were still there. 4. No hot water in the washroom

Only food was good but sofa n chairs in restraunts dirty, reception staff good but security,bell boy do not bother who comes in who goes out, does not even greet and sit carelessly

The property is less than 3 star hotel, not upto mark with radisson hotel, over priced and rooms carpets dirty. Description in booking.com is wrong for room size 183m3… very small rooms infact.Regret while staying there.

Disappointing

the property does not live up to the standard of the Radisson Blu chain - aged and not very clean. On our return to Delhi, we stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza near the airport which was a world apart from the Srinagar property

Amenities

The fact that they kept our luggage out in the driveway all day instead of clock room after checkout. It had no security and it was also raining. It is very bad on their part.

Staff was very generous and hospitable. Special thanks to the house keeping team for their outstanding support. Breakfast menu was different everyday and included local cuisine as well.

1. Lack of lights in the hotel. It needs to increase atleast by 20X2. Hotel lacks senior leadership as basic hygienic issues remains unaddressed. We were given a room with a broken glass window and someone needs to check this before handing over the room.3. Cost of extra bed is horrendous 4000.K.plus taxes that is too high and the cost that was reflected in my booking done from a third party agency was much lower. 5. Hotel needs massic refurbishment as it definitely does not meet the standards to what they are charging their customers.

The property is one of chain owned and managed by Mustaq group of hotels and was called Hotel Mumtaz in the past and recently got part of Radisson chain. The property is closer to a military establishment which might make it better from security standpoint.

The hotel however, has a long way to go to be actually at Radisson level. Overall, check-in experience was fine but staff at dining and house keeping are extremely rude, rooms are poorly maintained and are overpriced to a large extend. Staff mostly seemed very proud and seems disinterested in providing services to the guests.Overall, hotel is not worth the Radisson level tariff they are charging.

We stayed in Radisson Collection and it’s amazing hotel having new building and infrastructure.Management and working staff are amazing and highly motivated.Zeeshan and Khalid have done fantastic job with their personal touch and hospitality.It was a great and memorable trip.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good variety of food: breakfast and dinner. Good selection of fruits and vegetables.

Our TV volume was too high and couldn't be reduced. Many of the curries have to oil/cream: guess people like it that way.
