The Open House Jimbaran Bali

Food was amazing. Great kind staff. They were very loving and my toddler loved them all.

There were a lot of mosquitos which is not something we experienced at our other hotel. Sleep also lost electricity the last day so we kinda rushed out.

Convenient, clean, comfortable and close to the beach, airport & cruise port. Very accommodating for our late arrivals

Our greeting upon arrival was fantastic! Yogi led us to their restaurant and provided us with a welcome drink plus snack. He arranged for a taxi whenever we needed one. Its location relative to the beach was a definite plus. Overall, we felt very welcomed at the Open House!

The humidity was a bit much. I would recommend that each room have a small de-humidifier that could be turned on while we were in the room. We traveled extensively in Bali and noted that several hotels had this as an amenity.

Overall the property was very nice centrally located close to many restaurants and shops that you easily walk too . Rooms very clean, staff is very accommodating and helpful. Did not get a chance to try the pool out but I did get a massage poolside which was nice except not as relaxing when kids are playing in the pool.

I have it an 8 just because I didn’t care for the floor plan of our room just felt like you were in a rectangle you had a bed and behind you was the shower bathroom and sink area just a little wall separating you from it.

I really liked the fact it was reasonably priced and a small boutique property.Food was great with plenty of variety. We had a couple of lunches and a couple of dinners and were not disappointed. Complimentary breakfast was really good also.It’s a 20 minute walk along the beach to the seafood restaurants and was a 5 minute walk to our favorite fine dinning at CuCa.

Property design attention and cleanliness is superb.The restaurant is quite good.

Location is not ideal, is a bit noisy at night and the beach is not clean.

Relaxing poolside directly outside of the room. Comfortable large double bed with good AC. Tasty dining options in the cafe.

Not as much to do in Jimbaran area as other places such as Seminyak, Ubud or Canggu.

I arrived feeling sick and left feeling so much better—truly cared for and well-rested. The staff and manager were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and their support really made a difference.The Balinese massages were amazing and definitely helped me recover from the flu. The spa staff were skilled and gentle, and I felt noticeably better after each session.The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, and the restaurant menu was full of great choices.Before I left, the team helped organize a trip to Uluwatu so I could make the most of my last day. It was the perfect way to end the stay.This place is more than just somewhere to stay—it’s a calm, welcoming space where you can really unwind. I’d love to come back.

Lovely greeting at hotel, free drink and snack. Hotel and room were superb and everything was immaculately clean. Excellent pool area. Treat like royalty, Thankyou to all the staff. Very highly recommend.

The room was lovely. I loved the layout and design- very Miami Beach style. I appreciated that the hotel was small and felt cozy. It is away from the hustle and bustle.

The music in the restaurant was just a bit loud- I wouldn’t have enjoyed staying in a room near to it.

The staffs were super mice ! Friendly and very easy to approach. We truly felt we were welcomed by them.

Location is great. Nestled in kedonganan jimbaran so it is not too busy. Staffs are helpful.

Aircon is warm, needs to be changed or change the freon.There is no bidet spray in the toilet.Rate is surprisingly on the higher side, the restaurant definitely increased the price as it is very similar price with belmond’s restaurant

If you’re looking for a place in Jimbaran that feels like home but better, The Open House is it. This intimate hotel offers a sense of calm and authenticity that’s a breath of fresh air compared to the big resorts nearby.From the moment we arrived, the staff were impeccable—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. A special shoutout to Cening, who went above and beyond, Eka for keeping us laughing, and Nura Hari for the incredible food.Speaking of food—don’t leave without trying the tacos and nasi goreng! Every meal was delicious.The hotel helped organize some fantastic activities for us, including a visit to the local fish market and a cooking class (highly recommend!), plus a driver to explore nearby attractions like Uluwatu Temple.The rooms? Spacious, spotless, with a comfy bed and a great shower. The pool was lovely, and the massage was pure bliss.If you want a peaceful, personal, and truly special stay in Jimbaran, this is the place. We’ll be back!

The staff at the hotel were all amazing and kind. They greet you with a delicious snack and refreshing welcome drink upon check-in. The room was also clean, decorated well and they provide refillable water bottles to minimize environmental damage and waste which was greatly appreciated. The coffee during breakfast was also very nice!

The walkway from the reception to the room could be wider and made to look nicer with more plants. The drink and food menu was very pricey. The hotel restaurant would attract more customers if they lowered their prices, especially for the drinks.

Room was really nice! Pool was good. The cafe had really good food - breakfast was lovely! Great staff too.
