The Pool

Food was a bit run down . The place was almost empty . Where here 10 years ago and then the place was fully packed and pool bar was open. No beach beds / umbrellas to rent at the main beach . This is not the Puri Bambus fault but worth to mention and know

Excellent, very helpful staff, quiet atmosphere, and a great location — everything is nearby.

In my opinion, the breakfasts are quite expensive, but the hotel isn’t that cheap either — I think the price is reasonable for a hotel of this category.

The hotel wasn't anything like the photos on booking.com. It was very very dated, and unkempt. The kitchen looked grubby. The rooms were old and dark, one room toilet didn't flush, other room shower handle came off in my hand.

Check in was very late and one of our rooms wasn’t ready. The Hotel is very old and needs a lot of work and maintenance

Shower handle was broken and they suggested I wait until the next day for a shower. We were leaving early next morning and a monkey pooped on me. When I insisted on a shower they moved us to another room and that shower handle fell off too. At least that one we could hold in place to get water out. Nice pool and large rooms beware their plumbing .

A beautiful hotel. Lots of green and old style architecture. Very pleasant atmosphere. Nice room, comfortable beds and delightful swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and dining area. Decent restaurant. Decent beach nearby.

The location is a decent walk to the beach. Restaurants on the beach were mediocre. Not much in the town nearby.

The staff were very responsive and helpful and provide prompt services. Unfortunately, their good service could not make up for the dated facilities.Location was near to the beach (approx 300 metres), with plenty of seafood restaurants (which they called cafes) but little else of other shops. It is also a short distance to the airport. Breakfast included was adequate with options of either Continental, American or Indonesian breakfast (fried rice or noodles).

Rooms and facilities are dated. The room has a mouldy smell although the staff was prompt to provide some scent diffusers. The shower head was bad and had to be replaced. No kettle was provided, so of course no coffee sachets or tea bags are provided either. No room safe to keep valuable items. The alleyway (I hesitate to call it a road) leading to the hotel was narrow, dusty and dark at night. I had to call the hotel staff who came to replace the tv set. There was no tv service (only youtube was available).

Close to the airport. Close to Jimbaran beach, with great sunsets and places to eat on the beach. A 7 min walk.

Lighting in the room was not good. Light switch was behind the bed and difficult to reach. Towels were dingy and there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang them. There were no hand towels. The shower was difficult to operate, I had to call the front desk. The toilet seat was discolored.

Hotel is a bit old, needs a bit of restoration. Beach is about a 10 minute walk away.

Lovely and friendly staff, great room and nice pool. They have some great vintage furniture all over the place, and some great display pieces in the lobby. The food was excellent and good value for money. Short walk to the beach where there are some really good restaurants

Some things could do with a little bit of maintenance, the drains in the bathroom gurgled a bit so they'll need clearing out soon. I forgot to mention this at checkout so hopefully they read this ?

Beautiful hotel with large, comfortable rooms. Lovely pool area. Very near beach and great selection of restaurants.

Breakfast was quite disappointing.

We always love staying at the Puri Bambu. The staff are lively, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast is good. The location is great for food experiences; Jimbaran beach seafood and Babi Guling. The experience is Balinese it is not a glamous resort, but it is authentic.

Close to beach and airport , clean and staff very helpful. Nice pool. A good alternative to an airport hotel. Affordable and walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

It was perfect for a few hours to rest, swim, eat and get ready for our late flight, but not a place I’d stay at longer, based on location and facilities for families.

I liked that it was a good price in the area I wanted and the breakfast was reasonable

I had to take a taxi to the main area but that was ok as Gojek was easy and around $2 to $3 to travel within the area for eating out

Nice and big clean room very close to the beach and the airport

Not about the property but our room was just in front of breakfast area and some VERY LOUD guests wake us up at 6:30

Fine for one night stay near the airport. Lovely pool and garden area. The accommodation is a bit tired in places but comfortable bed and good shower.
