The layout is a bit weird and the hotel seems cold. Lonely is the word. I was quite alone there despite so many rooms. Not the best area to stay in. many “bike bikes” follow you at night there.

The hotel was near the areas we liked and close to good coffee and massage places. Fridge was a good size for lots of water.

The breakfast was excellent in a dining area with 3 listed options - plenty of variety to choose from and very friendly and prompt service. The gardens and pool area are lovely and it is a quiet and restful location. There is at laundry available within the hotel precincts charging very reasonable prices.
We couldn't have a ground floor room except on the basis of 2 separate beds, which wasn't an inconvenience to us. We were grateful that the hotel met our request to the best of their ability.

Rooms were comfy and well-equipped. Pool was warm and clean. Location was walking distance to lots of restaurants, but away from the main road so quiet at night time. Staff were absolutely wonderful, so helpful and welcoming. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel which was really good! Would recommend.
Off the main road so very quiet. The property has a nice pool and is well trees. The staff were very accommodating.
No safe in the room so had to be careful with valuables. Other reviews talked about missing valuables but we had no issues. Absolutely hated the smell coming from the toilet. It was really bad. We had to keep the door closed and the fan on 24/7 and even then it wasn’t good. I know people write this off as an ‘Asian thing’ but it’s a solvable issue. The AC was filthy. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Some mold on the walls. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable but the overall experience was overpowered by the smell.
