AQ-VA Hotel and Villas Seminyak

Nice central location, close to a number of good restaurants. It's about a mile from the main night life & about a 7 minute walk to the beach.

4 bedroom Villa JeJas was awesome! Lots of room for a group of 5,very spacious, nice vibe , very attentive & excellent staff. Nothing was a problem!! Majority of time spent downstairs in / around the pool . AQUA Restaurant at reception was close by & meals were great . Air-con, fans , beds & water pressure were great . Robin,The Pool Man, was very friendly, nice & helpful.

No ashtrays in the outside area,no tea-towels in the kitchen. ( we asked for them ) Master bedroom downstairs- all other bedrooms upstairs so may not be ideal for anyone who cannot do stairs easily. These are minor issues- no problem -as we would definitely book again.

Staff were friendly

Sheets were frequently stained with blood and or other yellow stains (photos as proof). Photos do not accurately represent the facility’s current condition. Bathroom was dirty. Towels were stained with yellow stains. Mattress was as hard as rock. Room was dirty. Paid for the room upgrade only to receive the exact same room just with a “pool view”.

Hotel is very run down, we were put in a room right at the back of the hotel near a laneway, the staff were very unhelpful and didn't even say hello when we walked into the hotel each day, we had issues on arrival after being told that what we had paid previous to our arrival wasn't correct and we needed to pay additional dollars to cover the extra bed in our room which was already organized with the hotel on booking the hotel. and were told we needed to pay for breakfast for our 2 young children, When we made the booking the hotel was advised that we required an additional bed for our son and did the price include breakfast for our 2 children, we were told that it did.

Decent size rooms, well decorated.

Breakfast included consists of 3 options only. And if you are a westerner ( like me ) then, its down to 2 options. No buffet breakfast. Considering probably 90% of their customers are westerners its very hard to understand this choice..... Food is average to say the best. Staff needs alot more training. I think hotel management really needs to step up and put customers needs and wants first. Once they do, this hotel can be one of the best in Bali. But for now, its only advantage is the room sizes and location. Wont be staying again.

As Bali got busier closer to NYE it was noisy with motorbikes in the middle of the night. I guess that is only if there are other guests on bikes at the hotel or one next to it.

Booking a poolside room I should have been more specific to me reasons why. I use a mobility walker and unfortunately many small steps throughout the resort.Our mattress was sooo hard.Upholstery is looking very tired throughout hotel.

Great location, quite at night. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 4.

We had to ask staff to do housekeeping, even though we used door sign as requested. No issues though, they got into it straight away.

We needed to extend our stay in Bali and were looking for a central, safe & comfortable place with reasonable pricing. This hotel ticked all the boxes. The first room they offered had strong garlic/frying smells from the kitchen & the towel hangers in the bathroom were all loose, they changed our room without any issues and even helped us move our things across.The Standard Suite is very spacious, clean & comfy bed, comes with a fridge, a safe, kettle & iron if required. They cleaned the room everyday, with fresh towels & linen. They make good coffee too and the pool is fairly large so you can do a few laps for a calm workout. Walkable distance to cafes restaurants shops & beach, laundry less than a minute away.

THE TV! I mean what is that? Plasma??? We hadn't seen a TV this old in YEARS! Probably needs an upgrade! TV is probably the least important thing during a holiday, but for us needing to extend our stay and not being on a holiday anymore (well, not technically) we just wanted to sit back, relax & watch some Netflix/Prime! Even a Chromecast might help but the Wifi was fairly slow & unreliable. The TV comes with 40-50 satellite channels so they're rocking the entertainment old school!

The location was great, friendly staff. We had a warm welcome and swans and roses on our bed as it was our honey moon. We enjoyed staying here.
