La Walon Hotel

The location was great.staff friendly and food wonderful. It was fine for the cost.

Only little issues. Lift not working, no towels in room when we arrived and forgetting to top up sugar and coffee each day. No information pack in the room.

Good and the bad so you decide. Good - 1. Close to the beach in Kuta and the Beachwalk mall, walkable distance. 2. Rooms and batrooms are really big compared to other Asian destinations and you also get a balcony. 3. room cleaning every day. 4. There is a very nice pool to enjoy. 5. the restaurant can deliver food to your room, double burgers are great

Bad. - 1. The sink is clogged so the water does not flow well, so when you shave or wash hands it get filled quickly. 2. the bathroom drain also isn't working well, and since the shower is not separated from the rest of the batroom, after you shower the bathroom floor is filled with water. 3. the traffic is crazy in Kuta so getting back to the hotel after you take a day trip will take you an additional hour only to get by in the traffic in Kuta.

Staff are nice. Convenient location.

A huge construction site is next door. They are working from 8am to 11pm. Noise is constant. Also there are no "do not disturb" signs for the doors.

THe pool, the garden, the restaurant on site for food and hang out.

Bathroom shower drain opposite next to the toilet= the entire bathroom floor with standing water.

The property is in a good location, the staff are very nice and the pool is good with lots of chairs.

The hotel needs major renovations. The bathroom stunk of mold and I had to change rooms because it was giving me such a headache. The bathrooms are super old. The other rooms also smelt like mold but not as bad. The wifi didn’t work for the first 2 nights I was there so I was unable to work from my room. On the description of the hotel on booking.com it says the hotel has wifi and modern bathrooms.. that is a lie.

It’s relatively close to Kuta Beach and the Beachwalk Mall

The property is very outdated. When we arrived, there was a dead cockroach next to the TV, and everything looked old and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, our room had a view of the construction site next door. We honestly expected more. The bed was okay, but the TV had poor signal and the internet was terrible. Sadly, we don’t recommend this place

This is our favorite hotel to stay while in Bali! We have stayed here 4 times over the past 2 years, and it is always a pleasure. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. This is an older property, but you simply cannot beat it for the price, cleanliness, and location. We always enjoy the breakfast and the 4 minute walk to the beach. Easy to walk all around Kuta from here. We will always come back!

The hotel room wasn't bad for what you paid.

The fact that you gave my passport details to a random in the street who posted it all over Facebook because of a miscommunication to where his scooter is. Your not a reputable hotel and i will never stay there again and am an idiot to think my personal details were safe with you.

The property is very out dated. This is reflected in the price, so you get what you pay for. It was nice lying by the pool and the short walk to the shopping mall and shops. The hotel does not have a lift so lugging luggage up the stairs was not fun in 30deg heat. If you want somewhere to stay on a budget then this will do.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious, just please have shower mats as i slipped and fell other than that it was a beautiful stay

The staff is very, very friendly. They call you by name and go out of their way to do everything you need. My bed decoration for my birthday was spectacular.

The property was in perfect position, rooms were spacious and clean, we were a large group and spent a lot of time in the La Walon restaurant, the food was amazing and so was the staff. Would highly recommended

The staff are friendly, making a huge difference. The hotel restaurant did decent food, a nice atmosphere.

The mosquitos, dengue fever, ruined my holiday. The alleyways and roads are dangerous to many scooters, not enough pedestrian access to the beach. One needs eyes in the back of your heads!

The rooms were massive and super clean. The staff were amazing, grounds were lovely and well kept. We stayed at somewhere before La Walon that was four times the price per night and our room at La Walon was cleaner and we were much happier having room to move and fresh air on the balcony.

The restaurant food / breakfast was not the greatest but for the price it was very convenient to grab the kids a quick meal if they were hungry. Although, for the price of the room we were more than happy to pay for breakfast elsewhere.

The service is just amazing. Everybody súper friendly and helpfull. Everything is suuuper clean. I will come back when visiting bali again.

The only thing to improve is to have smart tv and hot water in the shower

Great location on Poppies Lane, a few minutes walk to the beach.Large rooms, nice pool area, good value.All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Like a lot of places in Bali the cleanliness and maintenance could be better.

The fact it was near a 24 hour building site (CONSTANT NOISE) The bathroom floods to the toilet after a shower and does not drain properly. VERY BAD DESIGN.
